1John 2:7-11
Beloved, I am not writing a new commandment to you,
but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning;
the old commandment is the word which you have heard.
On the other hand,
I am writing a new commandment to you,
which is true in Him and in you,
because the darkness is passing away and the true Light is already shining.
The one who says he is in the Light and yet hates his brother is in the darkness until now.
The one who loves his brother abides in the Light and there is no cause for stumbling in him.
But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness,
and does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
{{{ The question of old that is still being asked today.
Who is my brother?
Genesis 4:9 after Cain had killed Abel Father GOD spoke with Cain:
Then the LORD said to Cain,
“Where is Abel your brother?”
And Cain replied, “I do not know.
Am I my brother's keeper?”
The Holy Spirit showed me something,
in the body of Christ the church, even in myself:
It is a quick and simple way to distract from my own actions by calming no responsibility for the actions i have taken,
or words i have spoken against others in the body of Christ.
Ignoring the fact that i have sinned against GOD, His word, His commandments.
Father GOD, i ask for your forgiveness for my lack of concern and lack of taking responsibility for my action’s,
thoughts and motives. }}}
1John 2:12-14
I am writing to you, little children, because your sins have been forgiven you for His name’s sake.
I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning.
I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one.
I have written to you, children, because you know the Father.
I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
Thank you, Father GOD. Amen.

How do we know, How can we tell?
Now thatis the question many ask.
Understand this.
Ever question if you are a true believer of Christ Jesus?
First off if you do; chances are you are.
For if you aren't you wouldn't be concerned about it.
A true believer in Christ Jesus described in 1 John
How to recognize a true believer:
How to tell if you are a true believer:
1John 1:5
This is the message we have heard from Him (Christ Jesus through the Holy Spirit) and announce to you,
that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness,
we lie and do not practice the truth;
{{
If we say we are Christians but yet participate in the worldly ways we lie;
We do not practice the truth; we but rather live in darkness.
Not having fellowship with Christ Jesus nor His Father.
}}
1John 1:7-10
but if we walk in the Light as He Himself (Father GOD) is in the Light,
we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin,
we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins,
He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned,
we make Him (GOD) a liar and His word is not in us.
{{
You want to walk with Father God and His son Christ Jesus?
Then admit you have sin in your life,
repent of it and ask to be forgiven of it.
To repent is to turn away from it and walk in the light,
The light of the truth, the light of the Father and His Son Christ Jesus.
In not doing so you are calling both Father God and His Son Christ Jesus liars and can not have fellowship with them.
For GOD is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
}}
In 1 John we are told 1 John 2:1-2
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin.
And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;
and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins;
and not for ours only,
but also for those of the whole world.
{{
When you come to the truth, the reality that you have sin in your life, that you do sin,
Know this that Christ Jesus the righteous one came to earth in human form and gave up that life and hung on a cross so that you may be forgiven of all your sins and be seen as clean by His Father, Father GOD.
Christ is our advocate, our propitiation He is our redeemer;
He is our only access to Father God and His kingdom.
He Christ Jesus paid for us, a price we could never pay.
}}
1 John 2:3-6
By this we know that we have come to know Him,
if we keep His commandments.
The one who says,
“I have come to know Him,”
and does not keep His commandments, is a liar,
and the truth is not in him;
but whoever keeps His word,
in him the love of God has truly been perfected.
By this we know that we are in Him:
the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked
{{
Do we honestly keep the commandments of Father God and Christ Jesus?
Honestly?
1. Thou shalt not have any other gods before God.
2. Thou shalt not make yourself an idol.
3. Thou shalt not take the Lord's name in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath Day and keep it Holy.
5. Honor your Father and Mother.
6. Thou shalt not murder.
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8. Thou shalt not steal.
9. Thou shalt not testify or bear false witness against your neighbor.
10. Thou shalt not covet.
And in Matthew 5, reading what Christ Jesus says we find that He has taken the commandments from just actions to what we think and seak.
In Matthew 5:17 we find that Jesus did not come to abolish the commandments of the Father but rather to fulfill them.
And then He goes on in Matthew 5: 21 through Matthew 5:48 and shows us that keeping the commandments of Father God takes more than not just performing an action,
that it also has to do with what we think and speak.
Jesus sums all the commandments of the Father in this
Matthew 22:37-38
And He said to him, “ ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”
Do you keep Father GOD’s commandments?
Truly keep them?
Do you love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind?
Or do things of this world take up most of your time, thoughts and energy?
Is your time and energy spent with tings of this world that you think you have to have,
or with your creator, with the one who came to redeem your soul?
Christ is your advocate, your propitiation He is your redeemer,
Not this world nor the things of this world.
What say you?
As for me and my house we will chose to serve the LORD!
}}
1 John 2:3-6
By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.
The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;

2Timothy 2:15
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
2Timothy 2:14-26
¶ Remind them of these things,
and solemnly charge them in the presence of God not to wrangle about words,
which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers.
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
But avoid worldly and empty chatter,
for it will lead to further ungodliness,
and their talk will spread like gangrene.
Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,
men who have gone astray from the truth saying that the resurrection has already taken place,
and they upset the faith of some.
Nevertheless,
the firm foundation of God stands,
having this seal,
“The Lord knows those who are His,” and,
“Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness.”
¶ Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels,
but also vessels of wood and of earthenware,
and some to honor and some to dishonor.
Therefore,
if anyone cleanses himself from these things,
he will be a vessel for honor,
sanctified,
useful to the Master,
prepared for every good work.
Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness,
faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations,
knowing that they produce quarrels.
The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome,
but be kind to all,
able to teach,
patient when wronged,
with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition,
if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,
and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil,
having been held captive by him to do his will.
{{{{
Take aways, things to remember as a believer in Christ Jesus.
1. “The Lord knows those who are His,”
2. “Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness.”
3. “Flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.”
4. “Refuse foolish and ignorant speculations”
5. “Avoid worldly and empty chatter”
6. “If anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.”
7. “The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition”

Romans 13:8-14 ¶
Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another;
for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
For this,
“YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,
YOU SHALL NOT MURDER,
YOU SHALL NOT STEAL,
YOU SHALL NOT COVET,”
and if there is any other commandment,
it is summed up in this saying,
“YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”
Love does no wrong to a neighbor;
therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law.
¶ Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep;
for now, salvation is nearer to us than when we believed.
The night is almost gone, and the day is near.
Therefore, let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
Let us behave properly as in the day,
not in carousing and drunkenness,
not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality,
not in strife and jealousy.
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.

1Timothy 6:1-2
¶ All who are under the yoke as slaves
are to regard their own masters as worthy of all honor
so that the name of God and our doctrine will not be spoken against.
Those who have believers as their masters must not be disrespectful to them because they are brethren,
but must serve them all the more,
because those who partake of the benefit are believers and beloved.
Teach and preach these principles.
Principle (1)
1Timothy 6:3-10
¶ If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words,
those of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and with the doctrine conforming to godliness,
he is conceited and understands nothing;
but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words,
out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions,
and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth,
who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.
But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment.
For we have brought nothing into the world,
so we cannot take anything out of it either.
If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.
But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.
For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil,
and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
Principle (2)
1Timothy 6:11-16
¶ But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.
Fight the good fight of faith;
take hold of the eternal life to which you were called,
and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
I charge you in the presence of God,
who gives life to all things,
and of Christ Jesus,
who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate,
that you keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which He will bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign,
the King of kings and Lord of lords,
who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light,
whom no man has seen or can see.
To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.
Principle (3)
1Timothy 6:17-19
¶ Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches,
but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.
Instruct them to do good,
to be rich in good works,
to be generous and ready to share,
storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future,
so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.
Principle (4)
1Timothy 6:20-21
¶ O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you,
avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called “knowledge”— which some have professed and thus gone astray from the faith.
Grace be with you.

Things to consider and live by;

4. flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness

Put your faith in Christ Jesus and seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.
Store up your treasure in Heaven not on this earth.
Be content with what Father God gives you, if you do so He will give you more,
but remember you can’t take it with you when you pass out of this world.
