James 1:5-8
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.

For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. Just a side note:

{{{ James is written for believers in Christ Jesus; those who believe in and are followers of Christ Jesus. those whose goal in this life is to please Christ and Father God. You need to understand that now days the name Christian has no depth. It is thrown around as a name for manipulation and gain. }}}

{{ Back to Jame 1:5-8
In 1:5 we are plainly and openly told to ask God for wisdom.

( The wisdom God gives is not the wisdom of this world, it is not the knowledge that this world passes out in its instructions. It is not even close to that lame crap we are told we need to learn to become successful in life. )

Wisdom from GOD is way above what the world calls wisdom,
It shows how to overcome the world and its ways.
How to read and understand what the word of GOD is telling us.
How to stand in this world but yet not be part of the worldly ways.
How to read and understand those around you,
to read their motives behind their words,
and the spirit behind their movements.

James tells us; if any beliver lacks wisdom, let him ask of God.
Ask God not a professor or scaler, not a friend or politician NO we are told to ask God.

And that if we ask, He will give us wisdom generously,
and will give it to us without reproach,
without condemnation or in disappointment, He will give to us.

But we must ask in faith without any doubting,
one who doubts should not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord.

Someone who ask as if they expect to receive something and then act, speak or think in a manner of doubt, shows someone who lives in a confused state of mind and way of life.

God will not give to such a person.
It goes back to faith.
Is your faith in Christ Jesus and Father God, or not?

Somone who says I am a Christian but yet doubts what GOD can or will do, you will find unstable (wishy washy) in all they do and speak. }}

[[ Do you have faith in Christ Jesus, in Father God?
Do you trust that They will do what They have said in the Bible?
Or are you banking on the world, its ways?
its values?
its wisdom?

Take an honest look at you, if you fine doubt, then repent and ask the Lord to help you not doubt His word.
Just like any sin in your life every time you notes it stop what you are doing or saying and confess to the Lord what is going on in you, repent, and ask for help to not think feel or speak the way you were. ]]

 Imagen this;
you go to a game, this game has been talked about for many years, the teams have been chosen and for many years you have spent a small fortune purchasing all the advertised paraphernalia, you have spent thousands of hours listening to and watching your team, you have even had arguments with friends and family over which team is the best.
But once you arrive to the stadium and pay the ridiculously high price to get in, you are confronted with a problem.
You are standing in front of two doors, surround both doors are posters of each team and you have to choose, the door will you go through to get in to the game, but all the posters only show the back of each player and they all are wearing the same white uniform, with no names nor numbers.
What do you do?
There is no way out of the room except to choose one of the two doors.
The crowd around has become angry and loud chaos has set in and they are demanding answers.

You look down at your ticket to see if there are any clues on and you read.

“This ticket only allows one entry”
“Once entering you must choose the door you desire
once you chose you cannot return to change your mind,
Each ticket grants only one entry.
So, choose wisely.
For one door will lead you to your seat and the other will lead you to the parking lot.
This ticket is nonrefundable.”

What do you do?
How do you know the door to choose?
If you chose the wrong door, how will you ever justify all the time, money and effort you have invested over the years, how will you justify all the time you have lost with family and friend, due to the game?
Just to get to this point in time and chose the wrong door and have to then consider it all a lose?

Then it is brought to your remembrance, that one individual who years ago told you;
“This game is a trap”
“Be wise as to how you will spend your life.”
“For there is a better team, a team that will not try to miss lead, will not deceive you in any way, will not make promises it cannot nor will not keep.
This team will not charge you to inter in, your ticket is waiting for you and is free.
All you have to do is chose to inter in."

Then in all the commotion you hear a still small voice saying come over here.
You turn and see a narrow hall way leading to a third door.
And the voice says come enter in, We have been waiting for you, come.
You take a step toward the small hall way but others who see you moving away from the two doors start yelling, telling you, you are a fool to walk away, you will lose everything if you walk away from the game.

But it is as the still small voice is reaching out to you quietly calmly saying enter in you will not lose anything, but gain much, enter in it is free.

Then you wake up and realize it was all a dream.
You get up it is Sunday morning and the day of the big game, so you get dressed and ready for friends and family to arrive to watch the big game on your new $3,000.00 big screen with surround sound.
And for a brief moment you thank of your dream, and how it probably would have been better to have spent the $3,000 to pay off that credit card, but you brush that thought off quickly because you need to run to the store to pick up mor snacks and drinks before everyone shows up.

Now your back and the whole gang has arrived the time has come you turn on your new screen the announcer is giving pre game amusements, the game is about to start and something goes wrong.
Something has happened to your connection and the receiver has scrambled everything the room fall quiet, there is someone now on the screen saying
“There is a better way”
It cost you nothing to enter in, your ticket is free, all you need to do is make the choice to except it. Christ stands at the door and knocks, will you answer His knock at the door of your heart, will you listen to that still small voice calling to you, come enter in to the narrow path that leads to the small gate.
And instantly you remember your dream.
And now you have to answer the question.
Who or what will you chose.
Your friends and family are scrambling around trying to figure out how to get to the game but you are hearing that still small voice aging, and it is telling you
“It is time to make your choice will you follow the world or will you come to Me, will you except my rest?”
“Will you enter in to My loving kindness, will you come to Me repent of your sins, will you except My forgiveness?
Or will you continue to follow after the world and its ways, will you continue to through your life away, striving to fit in?
will you continue to ignore my still small voice?
The choice is yours and yours alone to make.
Will you continue to follow the ways of this world, the broad road to the wide gate that leads to destruction, or will you choose to take the narrow road to the small gate that leads to life?
Aging this is your choice and no one can make it for you.
No amount of money or worldly goods can open the small gate for you, you can’t make it through the small gate with any of it there is only enough roof for you, so why not drop the baggage choose the narrow path, and enter in through the small gate to eternal life in Christ Jesus.
Still your choice.

Choose wisely, for once you make your choice it is made.

James 1:2-4
¶ Consider it all joy, my brethren,
when you encounter various trials,
knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

{{ You call yourself a Christian?
Then stop complaining about your life,
We are going to have trials,
but Christ is for us and we are willing to live for Him,
His reward is greater than anything we may have to go through.
If we will hold fast to our faith in Him,
our faith in Him will strengthen us to withstanding hardship or stress that may come our way.

Go take a look at Job, and read about His life in GOD.
What would it be like to have the faith Job had. }}

Hebrews 13:
Let love of the brethren continue.
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.

Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

Make sure that your character is free from the love of money,
being content with what you have;
for He Himself has said,
“I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,”
so that we confidently say,
“THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME?”

¶ Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

{{{ 14 things taken from above, simple and true:
1. We are to show hospitality to strangers
2. We are to remember the prisoners, just as we were in prison with them.
3. Likewise, We are to remember those who are ill-treated, (miss treated)
4. Marriage is to be held in honor among all and the marriage bed is to be undefiled.
5. Make sure that your character is free from the love of money,
6. We are to be content with what you have.
(( Christ Jesus has said to ask for our needs that He knows before we ask what we have need of, but we are to ask. The key word is NEED’S. He provides them and what He has given we should be content with. ))
7. Christ Jesus has told us in His word that He will:
“I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,”
8. Knowing Christ Jesus surrendering to Him living with Him as our Lord we can hold firm to these words
“THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID.”
9. And live under His wing of protection from being led away from Him so we can live knowing there is nothing man can do to take us from the love of GOD, so in boldness we can say: WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME?” for man can only kill the body but GOD can condemn the spirit of a man.
10. We are to remember those who led us to the Lord those who told us the gospel of Christ us who He is.
11. We are to considering the result of their conduct, that through their faith in Christ Jesus, they in boldness hey freely spoke of Christ Jesus and His loving kindness and His free gift of salvation.
And then we are to imitate that faith and bodily speak of Him to others.
12. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Jesus has never changed His mind, or gone back on a promise.
Every word GOD has spoken from Mathew through Revelation is just as firm today as it was the day it was spoken or written. That also goes for the words in the Old Testament.
13. Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings.
Don’t be deceived by good speakers, by those with smooth tongs.
But rather lean on the Holy Spirit, wait apon Him to teach you.
If you will but ask Him and then listen for His still small voice He will show you the truth, never rush in to excepting what man may say, but always go to GOD to His Holy Spirit that dwells in you for direction.
14. for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, by the grace we receive and the grace we show to others, both strengthen our heart, our life and our walk with Christ Jesus grows stronger as we remember from where we have come and for what we have been forgiven.

Go back and read these aging, are you there?
Do you live with in these words?
With in the life laid out for you in Christ Jesus?

Consider it.

Titus 2:11
¶ For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.

¶ These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one disregard you.

{{{   the grace of GOD (Christ Jesus) has appeared.
“bringing salvation to all men” (salvation to all who will except it.)

Throughout the words of Father God and Christ Jesus we are told, yes instructed to deny ungodliness and worldly desires, to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the time and age we live in.
Titus 2:13 we are told to be looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.

Are you looking for the return of Christ Jesus?
Or are you looking for that next pat on the back from man?
Have you or will you except the free gift from Christ Jesus of salvation?
Are you truly zealous (dedicated, earnest, passionate) to obey the word of GOD to be doing the good deeds?
Or are you to bussie following the ways of the world?

As a believer in and follower of our Lord Christ Jesus we have all authority in Him to speak the words of Christ Jesus and Father God, to exhort and reprove others.
But know you must first be in the will of GOD otherwise you condemn yourself.
Let no one disregard you.
To disregard is to act with:
Contempt, disdain, disrespect, act with indifference, scorn, brush-off We are to stay steadfast to keep the word of GOD before mankind so they are not forgetting, nor neglecting or overlooking the teachings from the word of GOD.
So as that they are not living unconcern about the teachings of GOD.

But as we learned in the last post:
We are to avoid such as these;
lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power.

We are to live a life dedicated to Christ Jesus and follow His commandments so people like those, will see Him through the way we live.
That does not mean we are to associate with them, No we are to “avoid such people”
Our responsibility to them, or for them is to live a holly life in Christ Jesus and to pray for them.
For it is the Holy Spirit whom will dray them to Christ Jesus.
But just like with believers it is their choice to receive or to reject the free gift of love and salvation offered to by Christ Jesus.   }}}
