First John 3
3:1-3
¶ See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.
And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

{we are to purify ourself, just as Jesus is pure}

3:4-5
¶ Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.

{in Jesus there is no sin} {Turn to Christ Jesus, repent of your sins, ask to be forgiven and then walk in love and truth}

3:6
No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him.

{No one who abides in Him sins}

3:7
Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous;

{the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous}

3:8-9
the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

{No one who is born of God practices sin} {he GOD cannot sin, because he is born of God}

3:10
By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.

{anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God}, {nor the one who does not love his brother}

{Practicing righteousness and loving other believers (the brethren) are two different things. We need to practice both.}

3:11-12
¶ For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; not as Cain, who was of the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brothers were righteous.

3:13-14
¶ Do not be surprised, brethren, if the world hates you. We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death.

{He who does not love abides in death}

3:15
Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

{Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer} {no murderer has eternal life abiding in him}

3:16
We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

{we are to lay down our lives for the brethren. As Christ lay down His life for us}

3:17
But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?

{if we have worldly goods and seeing a brother in need and do not give to him the love of GOD does not abide in us}

3:18
Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deeds and truth.

{we are to Love in Deeds and in truth not in words}

3:19-22
We will know by this that we are of the truth, and will assure our heart before Him in whatever our heart condemns us; for God is greater than our heart and knows all things.
Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.

{by our deeds we will show what we consider to be truth, (ether the word of GOD or the word of man) if we are obeying the word GOD (obey in the way which the Holy Spirit directs us) we will have confidence before GOD that what ever we ask of Him He will receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.}

3:23-24
¶ This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.
The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Matthew
22:37-40
And He said to him, “YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ This is the great and foremost commandment.” The second is like it, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”

{loving the Lord your GOD with all your heart, Soul and Mind and your neighbor as yourself. This is how you obey the commandments of Father GOD. For on these two commandments depend the whole Law.}

Matthew 7:21

Not everyone that says to me, Lord,Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven.

Call our self a Christian? A follower of Christ? A believer?
How well you doing in real life?
How’s your attitude?
How do you treat others?
As a Christian, a believer does your daily walk look like Christ, does it reflect the words or actions of Christ?

It saddens me seeing the attitude of most people i see clamming to Christians, with an attitude with no humility, or gratitude, an attitude of superiority or outright unloving towards others. if it sadens me a sinner only saved by His grace it must truly cause Him grife.

Want to be a Christion a follower of Christ? Then it should show in the way you go through your day and how you treat others.

Could you give your life for another, when you wake in the morning are you grateful?
Do you live a life of gratitude, is Christ the one you follow or are you following the world and its ways. Is money the driving factor in your life?
Or have you turned your daily walk over to the Lord?

A lot of questions but be honest with yourself and answer them.

Look at the way you respond to others, look at the attitude you have with others,
The things you love greatly determine as to what your attitude will be like, and the focus of your love.
For if you truly love the Lord GOD your focus will be in Him and you will have an attitude of gratitude and your purpose in life will be to follow Him and His teachings.

1John 2:15-17
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abides forever.

Having a greater love for the tings of this world is evidence that the love of the Father is not in a person.
Clinging to life in this world and the things of the world, also engulfs the life lived in this world, and Leeds mankind to live for self, not for fellow man and defiantly not for Christ the Lord.
The lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, will all be destroyed for they are not of the Father.
By holding on to your life rather than giving it up for others, you will lose it right along with all the money, stuff and things you have accumulated.

Where your heart is there also will be your treasure, and your attitude is a good sing of where your treasure is.

Go forth with an attitude of gratitude, putting others before yourself. Going to call your self a Christian, a follower of Christ, a believer?
Then start living like one

As we watch the events unfold before our verry eyes it looks as if the world is falling apart, and seems that the population of the world has grasped the reality that our time here may be about over.
Now for some that is a comforting thought and are looking forward to their end on earth, to other this is a fearful thought.
This is to those who call themselves Christians.
Are you truly ready to meat the Lord in the air, are you truly ready for His return for you?
Or are you caught up in the events and by stepping the requirement for you to go with Him?
The requirements as simple for those who are call by His name.

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ except Him as your Lord, repent of your sins { to repent is to turn from } confess Him before mankind and He will confess you before His Father.
If you truly love the Lord your GOD you will keep His commandments, do you?
Do you trust the Lord Jesus Christ with your entire life, every aspect of every choice you make?

It is simple to say “I am a Christian” but can be a bit difficult to walk it out in real life. The majority of us can get so raped up the moment of the day and forget to ask for direction before we move forward, or we will ask but not truly wait to hear from the lord before moving forward. Allowing our own desires to make the decision for us.
And then to justify our decision we say the Lord told me. We are told to wait upon the Lord, when we ask we should then wait for a answer, no mater how long it may take. One thing that should be in every request made??? “ Lord if it be Your will “

In Matthew 7:21-13 Jesus tells us what it takes to go with Him on His return.

Matthew 7:21-23
“Not all who say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord,’ did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?
And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.”

Calling your self a Christian does not make you a follower of Christ. no more then calling yourself a car makes you  acar.
Doing great acts does not make you a follower of Christ,
Stuff, things, money, your possessions nor your positions, nor doing things in the name of the Lord makes you a Christian { a follower of Christ }
Whether you are truly a follower of Christ or not is between you and Him. But is something you should truly look at.

Jesus also tell us in John 14:15
“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments”

John 14:21
“he who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.”

Matthew 22:36-40
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?”
And He said to Him,
“YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.
This is the great and foremost commandment.
The second is like it, YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.
On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”

Something to think about:
Does your loyalties lay in your self your, your things, your money, your position or does it lay in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Who is your GOD?

Hebrews 13:5
Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said “I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU.

think about it.

What are you or have you been complaining about.
Set down be honest and write a list of things that you're thankful for i pray that in your life by God's mercy your list of what you're grateful for exceeds what you're grumbling about.
We are a people who complain, a people who are comfortable complain when we are uncomfortable.
People who have, but yet complain when they don't have more.
Be honest you can see it in your own life and in the lives of those around you.
If you truly pay attention you will notice in the world around you that those who have very little are happy.
It is not because they don’t have much but rather because they have found contentment with what they do have. (a simple life)
If you've ever traveled the world and where aware of the so-called needy people with dirt floors you would see they are very grateful to have them because they have a roof over their Head.

i encourage you to nurture gratitude in your heart, being thankful for what you do have, teach your family to be thankful to be grateful, to live a life with a heart of gratitude for what GOD has dune for you and has provided for you, stop striving to gather more and more.

Instead of reaching your hand out for worldly things lift them to your Father in heaven, give Him honor and glory except what He has given you and be grateful, liveing in a constant attitude of gratitude.

Stop striving for money and more worldly possessions, or as some like to call them your assets,
remember this; when you die you can’t take any worldly possessions or assets with you.
When you release your last breath if you have not invested in the Kingdome of GOD you end up with nothing but regret.

Today in America, it is called Thanksgiving Day, It was set as a holiday to give thinks for all GOD had dune for the Pilgrams who came to this land to form a country where they could freely worship Christ the Lord (Jesus).

But in this country because we are so dependent on the government, money, possessions and assets we may have, this day has become a day of food, drink and football for most.

Wall being grateful to Father God, Christ the Lord and the Holy Spirit for all they have dune for us, we give them two to ten minutes of time then turn to the world and its way for instant gratification.

Chose this day whom you will serve, and where you r treasures will be stored.

think about it.

In Matthew 6:5-8 Jesus tell us how we are to pray “When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

In Matthew 6:9-14 Jesus us an example of how we are to pray.

“Pray, then, in this way:
Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.
Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”

And in Matthew 6:15 Jesus follows up with huge step in being forgiven
“For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.”

{{  What i would like to talk about in all this are four little words, but possibly the four most powerful words we can speak or think, when communicating with Father GOD.
“YOUR WILL BE DUNE”
These are word that when ever we are talking with GOD should be foremost in our conversation. For no mater what we are doing or looking for in life if it is not in the will of the Father we are asking for trouble.
So when we pray (talk with GOD) our main goal should be that the will of GOD will be dune, for His will to be dune in our lives, brings us in to the best life we could ever live.

“Pray, then, in this way: Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.”   }}

Jesus shows us about the Fathers forgiveness: Forgiveness
Matthew 6:15 Jesus lets us know we will be forgiven just as much as we forgive others.

“For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.”

Think about that the next time you want to withhold forgiveness from someone.

So we ask 'for the will of Father GOD to be dune in our lives and is all sichuations.
and we forgive eachother as we would like to be forgiven.

Think about it!
