Daniel 1:8
8 But Daniel had determined in his heart, that he would not defile himself with the portion of the King’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he required the chief of the Eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
 
Are you willing to make the choice to not be defiled?
Are you willing to stand up for God and do the right thing?
Or do you cave because “everyone ells is doing it”?
 
Daniel made the diction to do what was wright in the sight of the Lord and not defile His body.
We make this choose every day to either do as the Lord has commanded us “do not conform to this world” but most chose to ignore this and take part in the world and its ways to try and fit in to be accepted by the world and its ways.
Daniel was shown favor, by standing for what was right He was blessed,
Will the chooses you make today get you blessed by the Lord or accepted by the world???

2 TIMOTHY 3:1-5
1 Know this also, that in the last days dangerous unsafe terrifying and death-defying times will come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, cursed speakers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, intemperate, fierce, no lovers at all of them which are good,
4 Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God,
5 Having a show of godliness, but have denied the power thereof: turn away therefore from such.
 
MATTHEW 13:31-32
31 Another parable he put forth to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man takes and sows in his field:
32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and it is a tree, so that the birds of heaven come and build in the branches thereof. MATTHEW 24:7 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and realm against realm, and there shall be famine, and pestilence, and earthquakes in various places.
 
1TIMOTHY 4:1

JOEL 2:28-32

MATTHEW 24:21
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not from the beginning of the world to this time, nor shall be.
 
REVELATION 6:12-15
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake, and the Sun was as black as sackcloth of hair, and the Moon was like blood.
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig-tree caste her green figs, when it is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And heaven departed away, as a scroll, when it is rolled, and every mountain and isle were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in dens, and among the rocks of the mountains
 
 
are you ready a lot of this has and is hapening right now and getting worse,   are you ready for the return of the Lord, or are you so wraped up in your worldly ways that yo have become blind to the sin in your own life??
 
Are you ready?  or are you just playing the game?

Psalms 23:1
A Psalm of David.
The LORD is my shepherd, i shall not want.
In Mathew 6:28-34 we are told
"Why do you take so much thought for clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
And yet I say to you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
So, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is here, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
So take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, What Means shall we be clothed?
For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.
But if you will seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; then all these things will be added to you.
Therefore take no thought for tomorrow: for tomorrow will take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
 
The Lord is my shepherd i shall not want.
Father God will provide all our needs if we will ….. anyone, anyone
That’s right if we will first seek Him kingdom and righteousness, then all these things will be provided for us and we will know contentment and not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
 
Even though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death, i fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Hebrews 12:6 For those whom the Lord loves He disciplines A shepherds rod and staff were used to slow down a lamb that keeps wondering off the shepherd will dislocate the hip joint of the lamb so that it cannot wonder off, and then He will carry the lamb on His shoulders so the lamb learns to trust the shepherd and when the joint was put back the lamb would follow the shepherd any where
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
The LORD is my shepherd,
i shall not want. And if we first seek the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; then
Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And i will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
 
if you are seeking after the things of God you will not always feel in need, for the Lord God will provide all yor needs, and you will be satisfied adn content

Contentment what does it mean?
To be satisfied, to find gratification, to find comfort in, to be at peace The state of being mentally or emotionally satisfied with things as they are Today it is truly rare to find anyone who is truly content with his or her condition in life.
 
God’s word tells us a lot about contentment, being satisfied with what we have, who we are, and where we’re going.
In Matthew 6:25 Jesus said, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?”
 
What Jesus is telling us is to be content with what we have. And He has directly commanded us not to worry about the things of this world, that
He knows our needs and will take care of them for us. He also tells us that the ungodly strive after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them, that we are not to seek after the things of this world but to seek his kingdom and his righteousness first, and that if we will do this all these things will be given to you us
From Jesus’ words, we can deduce that lack of contentment is sin and it puts us in the same category as those who do not know God.
 
Paul suffered and went without what we call the comforts of life more than most people could ever imagine, but yet He was content, he knew the secret of contentment: in Paul’s own words Philippians 4:12-13
“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength”
And in Hebrews we are told, “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with the things you have.
Jesus tells us, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”.
 
So either you believe the words of the Lord or you don’t, if you truly believe in Jesus and trust Him with your life than why do you act like the unbeliever and have discontentment in your life?
 
If what the Lord has said is true then we should be able to stand in any situation and say “The Lord is my shepherd i shall not want”
 
Yet instead it seems those who call themselves believers continue to seek after more of the things of this world, never contented with their lot in life.
 
The one’s who loves money never has money enough, and is never satisfied to just live but always has to be doing something, keeping busy usually interfering in the lives of others to make sur they are doing what they should be doing This too is meaningless”
 
“Be content with the things you have” not striving after the world’s things or your position in life, For if are faithful God will cause all things to work together for our good.
 
To worry means we do not trust God.
And to always have to go means you have discontentment in your life, the key to overcoming your discontentment and lack of faith is to find out who God really is and how He has been faithful to supply the needs of His people in the past.

Psalm 29
A Psalm of David.
1 Give unto the Lord, you sons of the mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
2 Give unto the Lord glory due unto his Name: worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuary.
3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory makes it to thunder: the Lord is upon the great waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is mighty: the voice of the Lord is glorious.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars: yes, the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes them also to leap like a calf: Lebanon also and Shirion like a young unicorn.
7 The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire.
8 The voice of the Lord makes the wilderness to tremble: the Lord makes the wilderness of Kadesh to tremble.
9 The voice of the Lord makes the hinds to calve and discovers the forests: therefore in his Temple doth every man speak of his glory.
10 The Lord sites upon the floods and the Lord does remain King forever.
11 The Lord shall give strength unto his people: the Lord shall bless his people with peace.
 
This is a very interesting Psalm
Starts out telling every man or all of mankind to give glory and strength to the Lord
How do we do this?
I believe this is telling us to live a life that brings glory to the Lord and to give all of our strength to do so the glory is also to come out of our mouth, our words are to glorify the Lord and our words are to bring glory to His name.
 
Then David goes on to tell us about the voice of the Lord It is powerful, strong and even forceful; it is also magnificent and wonderful He tells us it is powerful enough to break the mighty cedar trees of Lebanon but that same voice can bring joy and dancing and that the voice of the Lord can control fire and that His voice can cause the earth to tremble, His voice direct the beast of the earth and because of all the Lord has spoken, directs and commands mankind who are the Lords speak of His glory.
And in return the Lord gives His people strength and He bless His people with peace.
 
Peace within, a peace that comes from the lord cannot be taken away by man, peace comes from knowing the Lord is in control and that He will never leave you nor will He ever forsake you.
 
The Lords voice is the most powerful thing in the universe, it created it and it can destroy it.
So speak glory to and of your creator, for He and He alone holds the life He gave you in His hand,
only He can speak you in to heaven or hell
