i know this is a lot but this is the last i will harp on it because most don’t like to hear the truth.

No matter how much or how little money you may have if you live as an American you will never have enough, it seems to be the untold rule in America that you are to be in debt,

A home a car new this and new that.

In Matthew Jesus said that He would supply all our needs food, clothing and shelter, but we seem to think that means that we are to get a high paying job buy a large home and make payments on it for thirty years, ho and don’t forget that nice shiny new car (or truck) and then work even more for all the extras so can impress your neighbors, and spend even more time away from home working so you can make even more payments.

Totally goes against what the Lord has told us, #1 that He would supply all our needs for most people life starts out rather simple you get a job get a place to live buy a used car and life is good, but then you have to move up in the world better home, better car, better toys, more, more and more.

The more you have the more you feel you have to have.

Jesus told us that He would take care of our needs, He also told us to love one another, and He also so told us what we are to be doing i this world Matthew 22:37 and 39 “YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND” “you shall love your neighbor as yourself”

Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

One reason we struggle is because we are not fallowing the word of God, we are trying to make our own way, if you listen to just about anyone out their when they talk about their stuff and things it is look at what I’ve done, look at what I made, look at what I, look at me. I have accomplished so much.

When in reality they have only created a trap that they have no idea how to get out of the average American is in debt

The average in come for middle America is 44,980.00 to 56,516.00 a year average credit card debt in America 16,000.00 (with average interest being 24%), average car loan is 27,000.00 average mortgage $169,000.00

In the average household in American on a daily basses owes 80% more then they take in.

When you go to get a home lone the average figure the payment on is 25% of your income 1/4th of what you make. So let’s say a family of 4 makes $36,000.00 a year that’s a house payment of $750.00 so they purchase the home and happily live in it for ten years, now their income has gone up to $45,000.00 that means they can make a house payment of $937.50 a month according to the world’s standards. Or does that mean they now have $187.50 a month they could use to help other with.

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.

Form a budget form a plan:
First: stop spending, if it is not life supporting don’t buy it!
Second: at the top of a piece of paper wright down your monthly income.
Third: wright down every monthly bill you have and the amount of the payment.
Forth: make twelve columns to the right of the list of bills (twelve months)
Fifth: for each month fill in the payment amount.
Sixth: for each month add up total bills and subtract from monthly income.

Example:
Income                                   $3,000.00
                                                January        February        and so on
                           Balance        Payment
Tithe                                         $300.00
House               $84,000.00     $750.00
Food                                         $742.00
Utilities                                     $560.00
Car                    $2,700.00       $480.00
Credit card #1   $3000.00        $120.00
And so on

Balance or left over income       $48.00

To get out of debt whatever is left over should go into paying off the debt take the $48.00 or $148.00 and pay it on the lowest bill, keep paying the extra no the bill till it is paid off. Say it is the credit card bill after it is paid off then take that $120.00 and the left over amount and start paying it on the now loosest bill, let’s say it is the car make this payment plus the extra until the car is paid off, using the figures above you should now you should have $740 a month to add to your house payment, making that extra payment each month you can cut the years of payments by way more than half.

Be content with what you have love and serve the Lord and love your neighbor, stop striving for more the Lord promised to take care of your needs if you will obey His commandments.

Hers a quick view of my budget for three different years
in 1998
Income     $82,000.00
Bills          $81,987.00
Balance           $13.00   but always seemed we were short.

In 1999     figured out i was being wasteful in my spending, cut up credit cards and only paid bills, and set aside $40.00 a month
Income     $82,500.00
Bills          $82,020.00
Balance         $480.00

in 2016      seven years earlier gave away home and just about everything we had, and started living a simple life doing things for Father God and others putting wasteful spending behind and moving forward
Income      $14,580.00
Bills                $877.00
Balance          $491.00

Not saying i don’t do some wasteful spending now on an average about $22.00 a month, the first few years it is tough and you will think you will never get out of debt, but you will and you will see the rewards of not being owned by the credit card company of the bank.

Using the fornula above we were able to get out of debt, we have no banl loans, no credit cards, no car payment, and we don't even have a bank account, we are strictly cash only, when we purchase something we own it not a card company or bank.
When we need something we paycash, and when we need somthing the cash is always there.

We are enjoying life and each other more, we have more time to spend with each other and others and serve the Father. And if someone needs a little help along the way we can help.

Owe no man nothing but love!

Money has never made a man happy, nor will it.
There is nothing the nature of money to produce happiness. For the more you have, the more you will wants. Instead of money filling a vacuum, it actually creates a greater one.
For when one want is satisfies, it opens the door too more want.

Ways to stay out of the grips of want and need witch the grip of money will have on a person
1. Keep money somewhat under your control instead of you being controlled by your money is to first understand everything you have is from Father God, it is not yours it is His and He allows you to use it.

2. Right off the top give God back the first tenth of what you are given. 3. Learn to be content with what you have. (Stop striving for more, because someone ells has something different or more than you do. Maybe it is not God’s best for you.)
4. Form a budget and then stick to it.

Understanding that all you have no one can do for you; you have to come to that conclusion on your own, but get this God created all living things and God can destroy all living things, whom better to want to please.

It is up to you if you want to give back to God what He asks for 1 tenth of all you are given, no one can make that call for you.

Contentment is also your choice, it is a much simpler choice if you’re trust is in Father God for all your needs, and aging a choice you have to make for your self

Now for a budget:
This you can get help with; before forming a budget you need to understand money, debt, planning ahead and saving
In any one’s life if you are in debt you are owned,
one of the slyest moves of the enemy is debt, credit card debt is probably the worst because you can slip the card out and pay for things on any whim you may have, no cash out of hand so in the back of your mind you still have cash in your pocket so you still have money you can spend, and you can always take care of the credit card bill the next time you get paid.
But what happens is you keep spending and can only afford to make minimum payments and never get out of debt (credit card payments and interest are designed to keep you always owing, always in debt, always owned.)

Here is what Father God has to say about money:
1Timothy 3:1-5 It is a trustworthy statement: if any man aspires to the office of overseer, it is a fine work he desires to do.
An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine or pugnacious, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money.
He must be one who manages his own household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity (but if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of the church of God?),

1Timothy 6:6-10
Godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment.
For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.
But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.
For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Hebrews 13:5
Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,”

i understand that 1Timothy is speaking of someone who is seeking to be in the office of overseer in the church but as the head of your family or over yourself and your money you are the overseer and should desire these attributes in your own life. And who really wouldn’t like a life that is above reproach, faithful in marriage, temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach (even if your own children), not addicted to wine or arguing, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money, having a well household and children which are under control with all dignity.

Keeping a Budget:
First thing to do is stop spending money you really don’t have….
     1. Cut up and dispose ALL credit cards’
     2. Only pay cash for ANYTHING you purchase
     3. And buy NOTHING on time from anyone

Second thing to do stop spending….
4. When looking to buy ANYTHING ask yourself these questions (and be honest)
     a. Is this a want or a need
     b. Is this something that has anything to do with sustaining my life (is it a difference between life and death)?
     c. Do I really need it (if you have to justify you don’t need it)
     d. If it does not have something to do with food clothing or shelter,,, do not buy it, and if it does before you put out the cash, ask yourself this.
{Am I really willing to do without something ell to have this item?
For when you are paying with cash you will soon realize fast that when it’s gone it’s gone, and if you are spending foolish the first few days after being paid you will find you don’t have anything to spend till the next pay day.}
It will be a long month if you run out of food because you purchased a new pair of shoes you didn’t need or that new game or smart phone, or, or, or.

Enough for today; take time and think about what you actually need to live, than take a look and see what you already have (it will probably out number your needs by 10,000%)

Take the time and read 1Timothy and get a good grip on the fact that the love of money is the root of all evil, not money in its self but the love of it, that includes the love of what you can do with, or what you think money can do for you.

See you tomorrow.

Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part; but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away.
When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Gifts of prophecy, tongues, knowledge, will all pass away but faith, hope and love will be forever.
So my thoughts are even now we should be building our faith in Christ, continuously hoping for His return and living a life of love, and with love being the greatest it is the one we should desire the most to have present in our lives.
All ells will fail but love will overcome for love never fails.
