1st John 1:5-10
This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him and still walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus God’s Son, cleanses us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we are saying He is a liar and His word is not in us.

Are you still willingly walking in darkness?
Do you feel the things you do are not sinful?
Don’t be deceived by your own lust and desires, for as His word says we have all sinned and fallen short of the love of Christ, BUT if we will confess our sins He will be faithful to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.

The word of God says that in the end times wright will be called wrong and wrong will be called right, and we are told to not be deceived.
For those who lvie where it snows; first snow go out on a hill side make a snow ball and start rolling it down the hill it will grow bigger and bigger, big enough hill and it will grow big enough that you can’t stop it, once at the bottom it will set their till the heat from the sun melts it, and as it melts you will find that on the way down the hill it not only picked up snow but that it picked up twigs, leaves, grass, and all kinds of things that you never saw it pick up, but once melted that is all you have left.

But if you were to go ahead of the snow ball and clean a path for it, when you got to the bottom you would find your snow ball would not have picked up as much debris, perhaps not any.

Life is like that snow ball rolling down the hill, as you go through life you can become so occupied with rolling through that you are not aware of what you are picking up along the way,
A bit of attitude here and there, a little bitterness, some jealousy, anger, pride, self-worth, grumbling, whining and complaining, arraigns … and when we get to the end of life here on earth and our life is melted down what will be left, nothing but a pile of rubbish, all the debris we have picked up along the way.

But if we ask Jesus to come in to our lives and then allow His Holy Spirit to lead us on the path He has prepared for us when we reach the end and our lives are melted down the pile that will be left will be love, joy and peace. And if we are allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us we will be going through life slow enough that when we do pick up debris we will be aware of it and can ask to be forgive, and have the debris removed from our lives as we go.

Question:
Are you going through life so fast you are not aware of the sin you have packed and are packing around or have you started rolling and become so big in your own eyes that you can’t be bothered to stop and take care of it.

Jesus will not always be waiting for you to come to Him to be cleaned, the time will come when He will return and collect His people, the ones who have allowed His Holy Spirit to shine the light and lead them down the path of life that He chose for them, those who have taken the time to repent and allowed the Holy Spirit to remove the darkness from their lives, those who will hear “well done My good and faithful servant, enter in to My Kingdome”.

But those who roll through darkness wild and free grasping for the things and ways of this world will hear “depart from Me for I never knew you”
A snowball rolls down a narrow path and once melted, if clean, nothing is left but water. Remember the narrow path that leads to the small gate. You can walk the narrow path but if you pick up darkness along the way and do not repenting, asking to be forgiven and the darkness (the sin) removed from your life when you reach the small gate you are not going to fit through.

So wall you still have the opportunity turn to Christ, repent of the darkness in your life and follow the Holy Spirits leading, live a life filled with love, joy, and peace that can only be grasped if you have fellowship with Christ, obey the words of God, and following the leading of the Holy Spirit.

See you on the other side.
