Day 4

¶ “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.
For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

Aging simple and to the point Christ did not come to abolish what we have been told to be or do in the bible, and He did not come so that we can make our own law’s.

Simple even though there are 613 commandments in the Torah (the Jewish and Christion Bibles) not just the ten most people know and the two Jesus said, and it is amazing how so many people can tell you some or all of the ten but don’t bother to follow them, what will they do with the 613???

The 613 are broken down in to 34 areas of life; you can go to the post on August 30th and read them all if you want, or keep reading and you won't need to.

Not one of these laws did Jesus come to get read of.

And yes simple because Jesus summed them all in to two in Matthew 22:38-40 Jesus tells us:
‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND. This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.
On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”
As a Christion we are still to follow the 613 laws, and yes at the same time Christ came to earth lived, died on the cross for our sins, and brought us forgiveness, and through Jesus we are covered yes I get it but if we are not living the way Christ has set out for us to live (the commandments) we are not living a life worthy of Christ the word says many who call Him Lord will not enter in to the kingdom of heaven, the path is narrow and the gate is small and few there are that find it.

A lot of Christian don’t like that facts, but if you would take the time to read the word of God without trying to justify the sin in your life you might see and understand you are not on the narrow path leading to the small gate, and you will not enter heaven, for Jesus said, depart from me I never knew you. Read it for yourself. Matthew 25:34-46 and Luke 13:22-30

The Jewish people have what is called a Mezuzah it is a Symbol hung on the door way of Jewish homes declaring their faith and life styal:
A Christian or Jewish household is created by the people who live in it–by the way they act, the things they do and don’t do, the beliefs they hold.
And a Symbol that:
A Christian or Jewish way of life is a portable faith: you can take it with you anywhere you go.

As Christians the Christian way of life should be a symbol of Christ for all to see.
What is your life a symbol of?
