Day 23
¶
“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor are figs from thistles, are they?
So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits.”
If someone is prophesing and is wrong even once He or She is a false prophet. the false profit should never be listened to aging, just walk away. In biblical days the false profet could even be stoned to death.
This seems to foul up a lot of Christians they say don’t judge others (don’t judge those in the church) and they are willing to listen to any one who carries the name or tital of prophet, preacher, pastor, teacher or evangelist.
But we are to judge the fruit of their lives and what they are saying to see if it does or does not match up to what the word of God tells us.
I have seen so many times a church bring someone in to speak and they spew faults words but because they are on some evangelist list they are praised and lifted up as a great man or woman of God. Slightly twisting the word of God, misleading and deceiving the people.
And the people who do not personally read the bible have no clue they are being misled.
It is dangerous, in counseling i have seen people who have listened to the subtle lies for so long they have become truth in their minds, and lead to doubting their belief and faith in God’s word. Their lives become more loos in their faith witch intern seems to give them more freedom to live a life that is contrary to the word of God.
It is like what the evil people say “tell the lie long enough and it will become truth.
Read the word and let the Holy Spirit be your teacher and your guide, and judge (compair) every word out of the mouth of man to the word of God.
Remember this; the American Church has ts own twist to it, and for many years we have been tought things that are mans opinions of what the word of God say.
What we as Christians need to do is get in to the Bible like we get in to a so called good book, a ball game or a movie, if we as Christians would approach the word of God with the same enthusiasm as we do for things of this world, this world would be a much different and better place, but when God is put on the back burner Monday through Saturday, and we only do our so called Christian duty on Sunday we can't expect to know God or His word or His ways
And we become venerable to be miss lead by false teachers.
How many Christians do you know that can quote a line out of a movie or sone? or the statsof an athlete? But when asked to turn to a book in the bible they panic, because they have no clue where it is.
((When i asked one uguy to find Jude he said and i quote "isn't that in the book ringo wrote"))
