Ever plaid the computer game Sim Farm?
i became very successful playing it you build a farm one acer at a time, you till the land, plant, fertilize harvest and sell. As you make more money you purchase more land, plant or seed, equipment, and buildings and storage for your produce and grain. And then duplicate the whole proses over and over It just keeps going and eventually you either become dedicated to it with your time or your crops decay in the field, it all depends on how dedicated you were to build and develop your farm.

Our relationship with Christ is the same, we can choose to be dedicated to developing a strong relationship or we can chose to only spend a minimum amount of time and effort on the relationship. If your desire is to have a fruitful prospers life full of rewards, love, joy and peace you will dedicate your time and effort to the lord. If you are just looking for the occasional meeting with the Lord, He will be there but your life will be intermingled with the world and its ways.

So many games are like life but life is really not a game; our actions, reactions, and responses to the things in our lives determine the outcome just like your moves in a game determines its outcome with life when we get to the finish line there will be a Y in the pathway on one side it will lead to a small gate and the other to a vast abyss, you will be evaluated as to how you played the game what side you were on and you will be told inter in at the small gate my good and faithful servant, or depart from me for I never knew you and you will be sent down the wide path to the vast abyss.

Jesus said we are to in the world but not of the world (and be not conformed to this world) we are to live by the rules of God if we want to win the race we are on, not man’s rules.
