Growing up our kids practically every morning when we would set down to read heard me tell them “everyone you come in contact with today you will make an impression on, and it is up to you if it is a good impression or bad”

 

Or kids grew up knowing that they were no more important than any one ells on this planet but that at the same time they were taught that even if they were the only one they were of such importance that Christ would have hung on the cross on the cross just for them.

 

Yesterday this came up with our three grandsons, Jacob 19, Sam 17, and Joy 14 they are co-owners of a restraint Jacob runs the kitchen Sam waits tables and joy washes dishes.

 

We were talking of how they impact the community we are in, a small town of 716 and over 2100 in the surrounding country side, with an average of 200 different people coming in to the café every week, which they personally get to have contact with.

 

These three young men have touched so many people who have walked through the door and like most have not known the impact they have had in people’s lives.

 

Joy who shins joy probably 23/7 has touched one elderly man who came in to have His last meal before committing suicide, the impact of the joy of the Lord Joes lives in made a life changing impact and Joe had no idea what was taking place, I found out about two weeks later from the Man’s daughter whom he confided in.

 

Sam who serves everyone who walks through the door has felt like he makes no difference in any one’s life, has had the biggest impact in this community, the things i have heard spoken of Him on how he has changed peoples concept of things are simply amazing, one man has quite drinking, a young unmarred couple went to his parents and told them that they wanted to live their lives with dignity and honor and when his father asked what caused this desire to change their son told them of Sam and a short conversation they had with Him and His dignity to live His life with purity, dignity and honor. The weekend before Sam had gone to an O 2 Experience meeting at Fresh Life Church and it impacted His thinking and the way He wants to live His life.

That is only two of the many Sam has influenced to live and live a good life.

 

Jacob even though He is at the grill most of the day has also so made a huge difference in people’s lives without even knowing it, after the café is closed the boys will do work roe others in the community and they are heard workers they get in and get the job done so they stand around texting or on the phone, they don’t slack off they are workers. And this is a topic of discussion i the community of Jacob is a good and heard worker, one young boy who has heard Jacob being praised for his work has decided to change His life He no longer stand around with a mountain dew in one hand and his phone in the other most of the (this was a big step for him)

Another has made the choice to step up and help his dad work in his automotive shop rather than being a bourdon and strain on the business as he was.

 

The thing is no matter who you are or what you do you are making an impact on the lives of the people around you, you have an opportunity to make a positive impact so take it, stop trying to make a difference and just live your life upright before Christ, take care of your attitude and your demeanor and go live life, and change the world.
