Have been thinking about Romans 10:10 and was impressed with.

In my heart i believe:

Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. He was here at creation and came to live on the earth as a human. He was crucified and died on a cross then rose again in three days. He has power over death, hell and the grave, and He is coming back for His believers one day. And that if i believe in Him i can live with Him and Father God forever, in Heaven.

i also believe God is the creator, and is in control of the universe, that He is so much bigger and more powerful then i am and that He has the power to give or take life; knowing and believing this creates a healthy fear of God in me. i will follow Him and do what His word says, which will result in His righteousness growing in me.

With my mouth i confess:

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the cross and came back to life again in three days with victory over death, hell and the grave, and whoever believes in Him and confess their sins to Him and ask Him to forgiven them, they shall be saved.

And, by sharing the love of Jesus Christ with others, brings about salvation in my life, allowing me to live with Him forever in Heaven.

i am having the feeling that we are perhaps where we should be but that we are not doing what we should be! We are not doing bad things but by not doing what we should be we are still sinning, Father God please forgive me! Back to the beginning;

  1. Get ready to go.
  2. Go where the Holy Spirit leads.
  3. Spend time in the morning reading the word together.
  4. Take a walk together, and allow the Holy Spirit to share with us.
  5. Come back and write down what the Holy Spirit has shared with us.
  6. Do the same thing again in the afternoon.
  7. Spend two to three months just the two of us, and not be concerned with things of the world.
  8. Share the love of the Lord with whom ever He brings in our path to do so with.

But instead it seems we are still not doing things together, and the things of the world are still holding on and controlling our lives. And it seems the biggest sin is doubt.

Matthew 14:27-31

27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”

28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

Jesus said get rid of things and be ready to go and we did, and then He said go, and we did, and now we are out on the water, and as Peter did we have looked around at the circumstances and stuff and things what we have, but mostly what we don’t have, and have sunk! LORD SAVE US!

And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of me, and said to me, “O you of little faith, why do you doubt?” Lord help my doubt to subside and my faith in you over take it!

Matthew 6:31 Do not be anxious then, saying,

  • ‘What you shall we eat?’ or
  • ‘What shall we drink?’ or
  • ‘With what shall we clothe ourselves?’ or
  • ‘What shall we sleep on?’ or
  • ‘What shall we cook on?’ or

or, or, or, we have so many what ‘s and what if’s, in which are all out of doubt.

“O you of little faith, why do you doubt?” Lord help my doubt to subside and my faith in you over take it!

Matthew 21:21

And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith, and do not doubt, You shall not only do what was done to the fig tree, But even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ It shall happen.

This is the kind of faith in Father God and Jesus i want to have, not to move trees but to be totally dependant on the Lord for every thing i need, and to never question what or why, or be weighed down with the desires of this world, but to have a deep knowing that what ever I have need of the father will provide, when I have need of it. Lord forgive me for doubting You!

Romans 14:23

But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and whatever is not from faith is sin.

Whatever is not from faith is sin!

Whatever is not from faith is sin!

WHATEVER IS NOT FROM FAITH IS SIN!

WHATEVER IS NOT FROM FAITH IS SIN!

i get it, every moment of every day i must have faith in Father God that He will provide all my needs, and that Jesus is not only my provider but my provision! And beyond Him i need nothing, but out of His love for us He will provide all our physical needs.

Needs is a funny word to some it means a lot of new stuff, to some it means any and every thing they see that leads them to into lust, some think it is the comforts of the world. But in the Bible it says we have very few needs,

  • We need the love of the Father!
  • We need salvation through Jesus Christ!
  • We need the forgiveness from the Father, through Jesus Christ!
  • We need the leading of the Holy Spirit!
  • We have need of food!
  • We have need of drink!
  • We have need of clothing!
  • We have need of shelter!
  • The Lord gave me a wife, so i have need of human love and companionship!

Beyond all of this every thing is just extra. And can become a distraction, in which can lead to more want and the thought that a want is a need. Wants are not needs!!!! Desires are not needs!!!

Lord thank you for taking care of and providing for all our needs on this journey!

Why do we as Christians willingly live with sin in our lives? As a group we are so concerned about abortion, and pornography, prostitution, gays and lesbians, on and on, but yet we will live with doubt in our own lives which is just as much a sin and any of the others.

i have found that if you take care of the things that we thank are small in our lives, and deal with them, then we are not so tempted by the other things.

(Faith: That leaning of the whole human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness. II Thessalonians 1:11. That’s what I want, desire and hope for Lord. Please help me Holy Spirit to exercise the little, bitty faith that I have so it may grow and mature like a mighty oak tree. Amen. Patty)

       (Another Side track)

((((Faith is not saying i wish, what if, why or why not. Faith has a lot to do with being thank full with what you have or for the situation you may be in, Count it all joy.

If you are counting it all joy, what ever you have will be enough, and you won’t thank to say i wish, what if, or ask why or why not, you will be to busy thanking God for what you already have.

i thank that is the biggest problem I have with other people, is that most people seem ungrateful about most of their lives, and when i see that in the church, or people that call themselves christians, first it makes me sad but then it dose make me mad, they just don’t get it.

People will talk about how God has blessed them, then at the slightest bit of discomfort, will complain about something in their lives, maybe Father God is allowing it so they could learn something, but instead of in Joy saying thank You Father God, help me to learn what You would want me to learn from this, they moan, bitch and complain about every little thing.

Why if they belong to Father God, do they have a need to complain Matthew 5 it says He knows our needs and will supply all our needs. So what is the problem?

Problem ……. They are arrogant, proud, selfish, rude, inconsiderate, demanding, and really only care about themselves. And do not trust or have faith in God that He knows best for them. Witch all go’s against what the word of God says we are to be like. ))))         That one doesn’t coast any thing either
