Matthew 5:20        "For I say unto you, that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not inter the kingdom of heaven".

Matthew 5:48        “Therefore you are to be perfect; as you’re heavenly Father is perfect".

These two have been on my mind, im not sure who or what the scribes and Pharisees were, i would think that the scribes were the ones that wrote out the scriptures and the Pharisees were the religious leaders of that time, but what they did or how they lived their lives, im not sure for we only get glimpses of them in the bible, and im not going to speculate.

But i do understand being perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect, God has no sin in Him,

i thank that God, or our heavenly Father must be more righteous then scribes and Pharisees, so i suppose that instead of spending a lot of time trying to find out how the scribes and Pharisees lived we should work on getting the sin out of our, my life.

Matthew 11:20-24        Then He began to reproach the cities, in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent.
21 “Wow to you, Chorazin! Wow to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had occurred in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 “Nevertheless I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment, then for you.
23 And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You shall DECEND TO HADES; for if the miracles had occurred in Sodom which occurred in you, it would have remained to this day.
24 “Nevertheless I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, then for you.”

Makes me thank that sense we have the word of god and He has put record of the miracles in His word, so that we may know of them, and then there are the miracles that happen in our lives each day, but yet we do not repent of our sins, how much worse will it be for us????

James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins one to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
Now that's a tough one for now days man has gotten so far from the spirit of God that even in the church if you have sinned and confess to another you will find yourself treated differently, forgivness has been replaced with gossip and an attitude of superiority, one who has fallen in to sin is looked down on instead of lifted up in prayer. in stead of being richtous we just act richteous.
1Jhon 1:9       "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".

Psalms 32:5     "i acknowledged my sis to Thee, And my iniquity i did not hide; i said, “i will confess my transgressions to the Lord”; And Thou didst forgive the guilt of my sins.

Confessing our sins is required, but aging confessing one to another now days is difficult, the word says the prayers of a righteous man can accomplish much, but where can we find a righteous man,
What i have seen over the years is if you share your sin with someone, then you are treated differently, and it is not forgotten by the person, and in some cases is shared with others,
We eat our wounded!
But it says if we confess our sins He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from unrighteousness. Sense Jesus is righteous and prays to the Father on our behalf, if we confess our sins to him, He will be faithful to forgive us and cleanse us.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

Confess to Christ and live out your new life before man.
