Psalms 1

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,

Nor stand in the path of sinners,

Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!

 

But his delight is in the law of the Lord and in His law he meditates day and night.

He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither;

And in whatever he does, he prospers.

 

The wicked are not so,

But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,

But the way of the wicked will perish

 

 

How many of us listen to the ways of this world to supposedly gain wisdom and knowledge?

How much of the worlds ways have creeped in to the teaching in the church on Sunday mornings?

How many of us stand in the path of the sinners How long will we put up with sin in our lives both our sins and the sins of others, before we say no more depart from me?

How long will we set with scoffers those who ridicule and mock?

 

How long will we rebel against the Lord, How long will we listen to sinners rather than the words of the Lord?

 

Revelation 2:14

'But I have a few things against you because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam

2:20

But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess

 

 

Do you listen to the rantings of crazy people, do you have in your life ones who twist the words of the Lord, who do not speak whole truths, those who take advantage of others, and gripe and compline about things, those who are not grateful, who have a lack of gratitude for the Lord?

 

If so you may want to rethink who your friends are you may want to rethink who has input in your life.

 

Find enjoyment is in the law of the Lord and in His law meditate, contemplate, ponder, think about day and night.

And by doing so your life will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, and the fruit of your life will flourish in its season and deeds will not wither;

And in whatever you do, you will prospers

 

The wicked, the sinners, the scoffers are not so, they will be driven away they will not stand in the day of judgment, in the assembly of the righteous.

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,

But the way of the wicked will perish

 

So knowing this;

How long will you put up with and listen to and take input in to your life from those who are wicked complainers sinners?

 

Wouldn’t you rather be blessed by Father God then by man?
