If i tell you i’m a plumber how do you know i am?
If i tell you i’m a doctor how do o know i am?
If i tell you i’m a race car driver, how do you know i am?
If I tell you I’m a mountain climber, how do you know i am?
If I tell you i am a Christian, how do you know i am?

How do you know someone is what they say they are?
It is by their actions, and there deeds.

Most anyone can read a book and tell you what it says and tell you stories about what they do or have done using words from the books they have read, even though they truly have no idea what they are talking about, and some don’t even believe what they are saying is truth.

This is true even in the Church, there are ones in the church who can quote the word of God to the letter, and those who even teach the word of God that do not live the word nor do they truly believe the word of God.

God’s word says to pay attention to those who say they are Christians to what they say and to what they do, what people say and how they conduct then selves not only on Sunday but on Monday throw Saturday also.

But even more important is how do you live Monday throw Saturday, have you read the book?
Can you quote what it says?
But more important than that, do you live out the words you have read?

i am not a very social person; i have become so discussed with what i see going on in the church and what i see going on outside the church by the same people, and wonder what Christ must think.

A pastor who speaks of prosperity on Sunday and on Monday speaks of not having enough money to do anything, but yet can go out and spend hundreds of dollars on recreational items.

Or the ones who speak of the loving kindness of Christ and turn right around and speak negatively, even hatefully of someone ells.

Or the ones who speak of God’s acceptance of all and on Monday through Saturday speak of disgust for certain groups of people.

Or the ones who say i am a Christian, God is my provider, but then complains about what they don’t have, or they don’t have enough.

Only God knows the heart, when it comes to salvation, but we are told to be aware of the faults teachers, we are told to judge the actions of the ones who call them self’s Christians.
God will judge the world but we are to judge the words and actions of the ones calling themselves Christians.

We are all teachers, for others learn from each one of us, but one who holds the title has a greater responsibility and is held to a greater standard of responsibility.

So the next time you are going to open your mouth to speak, whether on Sunday or Monday through Saturday, stop and think about your words are they glorifing God or belittle Him?

are you going to live out what you have heard and read in God’s word, or are you just a Sunday Christian, and a hypocrite Monday through Saturday.
Are you a true believer of Jesus?
Or is it just a thing of wanting to be seen as a good person to gain favor of others?

Think about what you do and what you say, for you impact everyone you come in contact with,

Ask yourself this question;
am i living a life that shows the true love of and nature of Christ or am i living a life showing Christ as a liar?
Think about it.

If i tell you i had better show it.
