Pro 12:25 Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, but a good word makes it glad.
When we worry we have anxiety and this will weigh down your heart and will lead you to a place that trusting God is almost imposable, if we allow worry to fill our lives our lives will become useless for the Lord, But good words will make us glad
Deuteronomy 28:43 "The alien (alien = someone or something that does not belong or fit in) (in the Christians life worry should be considered an alien – something that does not belong or fit in.) who is among you will rise above you higher and higher, (as worry takes over in your life by rising higher it blinds us to the love of God) but you will go down lower and lower. (And as we allow worry to set in to our lives our spirits will become lower because we are no longer leaning on the Lord to meet our needs)
"He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him; he will be the head, and you will be the tail. (Through worry we can get all kinds of input from our own thoughts, from others whom worry and we can be lead even further from the Lord) (Worry will lead you astray from God because you cannot control worry)
"So all these curses will come on you and pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey the LORD your God by keeping His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.
We are told by the Lord; DO NOT WORRY!
Mat 6:31 "Do not worry then saying ‘What will we eat?' or ‘What will we drink?' or ‘what will we wear for clothing?'
Luke 12:22 And He said to His disciples "For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on
We are not to worry about food drink or clothing, if we are choosing to fallow the Lord no matter what happens in our lives He will take care of your needs. Look at Job take time to read the book of Job a man that could have worried about a lot of things but instead looked to the Lord.
