What does it mean to be patient?
Patient is a mindset but is also an action, and being an action it can be practiced, and just like practicing the piano the more you practice the better you get.
Patient:
Able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious
A patient person is one, who is able,
To endure,
To be easygoing,
To tolerant,
To live a life with longsuffering,
A patient person is normally someone who is good-natured, understanding, uncomplaining, enduring
Someone who is not worn down by the things and pressor of this world.
1st John 3:18 says
My little children do not love in word, neither in tongue; but in steed in actions and in truth
1 Peter 4:8
And above all things have fervent love among you: for love will cover the multitude of sins.
Proverbs 10:12
Hatred stirs up strife: but love covers all sins.
Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
John 15:13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his lif- e for his friends.
If Christ is your friend then you should have on problem giving up the sin in yor life and keeping His commandments
Matthew 22:37-39
Jesus said
"you will love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.This is the great and foremost commandment.The second is like it, you will love your neighbor as your self"
