I:
My next statement will probably upset or perhaps even make you made, that’s ok but after your first reaction please take time to thank about what the Lord is saying.
Isa 65:12-14 "I will destine you for the sword, And all of you will bow down to the slaughter. Because I called, but you did not answer; I spoke, but you did not hear. And you did evil in My sight And chose that in which I did not delight."
As we read earlier we have been told “DO NOT WORRY” i don’t think that God told us that so that we might excuse our worrying but so that we might make the choice to not worry, it is a choice, and yes it can be a heard choice to make and stick with but in the end it is our choice if we are going to worry or if we are going to trust the Lord to take care of all our needs, even unto death. For He said He will never leave us nor forsake us, it is us that leave Him and chose to worry and partake it all that worrying entails.
Isa 65:13-14 "Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, My servants will eat, but you will be hungry. Behold, My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.
"Behold, My servants will shout joyfully with a glad heart, But you will cry out with a heavy heart, And you will wail with a broken spirit.
Therefore, hum another heard one, therefore you did not answer, you did not hear, (or another way of saying this you did not listen for the Lord), and you chose that in which the Lord did not delight in. (the Lord dose not delight in worry) You will have a lack of food, drink and you will be put to shame.
If you chose worry you will have a heavy heart and a broken spirit. Just as we read in Proverbs 12:25 "Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down" (a heavy heart) this will cause you to have a broken spirit
(for man cannot serve two masters worry is a master, you can not control worry, It is a cruel master, will you serve worry or will you serve God)
Question
#13 Can you control worry?
