The Book of seven seals: Part 5
In Revelation between the sixth seal being broken and the seventh seal being broken there is some interesting information the Lord gives us.
Revelation 7:1-8
First group: The 144,000
Revelation 7:1
And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel
The 144,000 are all from the twelve tribes of Israel, twelve thousand from each tribe.
Revelation 7:9-14
Second group: A great multitude which no one could count Revelation 7:9-10
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
A multitude from all the people of the earth; not all the people but those from all the peoples of the earth, those who call Father GOD their God.
Those who have excepted the forgiveness of the Lamb (the Lord Jesus Christ), those who have been redeemed and have been given white robes to wear.
The ones who come out of the great tribulation.
Revelation 7:13-14
Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?”
I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
[[ “The ones who come out of the great tribulation”]]
they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Translation:
They have turned from their sins and sinful ways, put their trust and faith in the Lord Jesus excepting His forgiveness and have been redeemed, made white as snow by the blood of the Lamb.
The word of GOD and the Holy Spirit made it vary clear they come out of the tribulation. They do not come out before the tribulation nor do they come out after the tribulation buy from the tribulation. Showing that there will be believers in Christ who will be in the tribulation, if you are not in something you can not come out of it.
It is disturbing to me when those who call themselves Christians but say God would never allow us to go through tribulation, He will come and get us before that happens. Seems to be an arrogant attitude, you think you are better then the children of Israel? Do you think you are better then the chosen ones of GOD who went through the holocaust?
The church is going to be tested each one who claims to be a Christian (a follower of Christ) will be tested, and will have to make the choice to hold fast to their faith in Christ Jesus or to deny Christ give in to fear of what the world will do to them, giving in to the ways of this world and denying Christ.
We have been seeing this going on right out in the open the last couple years, and even today, Churches and Christians who grab on to the world and worldly ways fearing man rather than GOD and committing blasphemy against GOD and the Lord Jesus.
To me it is strange one who says I am a Christian a believer in Christ. but yet will say things like
“Yes, God will supply all our needs BUT”,
“Yes, Jesus said He would provide, BUT”,
“Yes, my faith is in Christ, BUT”
Any time someone states something Father GOD or the Lord Jesus has said He will do and then throws in BUT, is in reality denying the ability of Father and the Son to do what they have said, as if they are uncapable of doing it without your help. Go back to
Revelation 2 and 3, the letters to the church, churches. And read what the Lord says to the churches to those who call themselves Christian. The letters to the churches all end in somewhat the same way
Revelation 2:5-7
“Therefore, remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent. Yet this you do have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.”
Revelation 2:10-11
“Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death.”
Revelation 2:17
“So, you also have some who in the same way hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans. Therefore repent; or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of My mouth.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
To him who overcomes, to him I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and a new name written on the stone which no one knows but he who receives it.”
Revelation 2:25-29
“Nevertheless, what you have, hold fast until I come.
He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, TO HIM I WILL GIVE AUTHORITY OVER THE NATIONS; AND HE SHALL RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON, AS THE VESSELS OF THE POTTER ARE BROKEN TO PIECES, as I also have received authority from My Father; and I will give him the morning star.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Revelation 3:2-6
“‘Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God.
So, remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore, if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.
But you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their garments; and they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.
He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Revelation 3:10-13
“Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
[[ side note Revelation 3:10 stats
“Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing,”
Many will expect the best but somewhat ignore the first part of 10, “Because you have kept the word of My perseverance”
Are you keeping the word of His perseverance?
Perseverance: continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition Would be like trusting and continually working in the direction Father GOD, the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit direct us in the words they spoke and to not waver from their love and direction. And then to wait for their blessings and the Lord’s return, putting nothing in our lives that take position over His perfect desire for us.]]
The Lord has told us
“do not acquire gold or silver, or copper for your money belt, or a bag for your journey, or even two coats, or sandals, or a staff”
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
“it is the one who endured to the end who will be saved” “not all who say to Me Lord Lord will enter in to the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.”
The narrow gate
Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Matthew 22:36-40
Jesus was asked;
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”
And Jesus said to him,
“YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.
This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it,
"YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”
Something to think about through all of this remember what we have been told in Jams 1:5-8;
“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
Daniel 11:35 “Some of those who have insight will fall, in order to refine, purge and make them pure until the end time; because it is still to come at the appointed time.
Daniel 12:1-3 “Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.
Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.
Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.”
A KEY section from Revelation 7:14
" these are the ones who came out of the great tribulation, they have washed their robs and made them white in the blood of the Lamd"
The Holy Spirit pointed out these are the one who repentedd of their sins, what man would concider both large and small, and turning from the evil of their minds, hearts and soles they turned to Christ (Jesus the Lamb of GOD) and chose to fallow after Him and His instructions, His way of life, to live a life pure before the Father.
it seems that most of us in theis country are so ingrained in the American dreem that we do not have or take the time to serve the Lord unless it is on our turms.
serving man rather then GOD.
Many in times of tuibulation will grab for the salvation of Christ and on the service will look like a christian but in the deep parts of the mind and heart will hold to the worlds truth and at the end will hear the words depart from Me for i never knew you"
