First John 3:1-3
See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
[[ how great a love has Father GOD given us?
1. So great a love that we would be called children of God
John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name
2. So great a love that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
3. So great a love that we might be saved through Crist Jesus.
John 3:17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
4. So great a love that we will not be judged in the final judgment
John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
5. So great a love that we can have a relationship with the Spirit of GOD, and be heirs of GOD.
Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
First John 4:7-11
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”
Question:
You say you are a Christian;
But do you have love in you for fellow believers?
Or are you living a lie,
I know and understand it can be heard to love some who claim to be Christians, but the Father has so great a love for us, what less can we show toward our fellow believers?
Another purpose to know the words of Jesus and listen to and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit
God so loved us, so we also ought to love one another!
“And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.”
So put off your sins, repent and turn from your hate,
Matthew 5:21-22
“You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.
But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.
John 13:35
“By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Think about it.
Better yet do it, live a live of love, for Father GOD, the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit and for your fellow believers in Christ Jesus. ]]
