We had another member of our community go home; it was a head on accident Sunday morning.
When told about it my first though was, they got to go home before the country falls apart.
About an hour later it came to me that that is right no mater who we are what we have dune when we have taken our last breath we go home.
To which ever home we have lived our lives to attain. And through the thought proses; Yes once this body is dune our true being goes home, and there are only two choices.
1. An eternal life in the Kingdome of God. Or
2. An eternal life in Hell.
That choice is ours to make.
Through the though proses and reading the words of the Lord i see it does not mater if you go to church every time the doors are open, it does not mater how much money you give, it does not mater if you and everyone ells thinks you’re a good person, there will be a lot of so called good people in Hell.
What makes the difference as to where you will spend eternity is your heart and how you live your life when no one ells is around, what do you think, what do you look at, what do you listen to, what are your motives, what are you dedicated to.
Is your life lived for gain? Gain of finances? Gain of expectance? Gain of glory and fame? Are your thoughts of good or of evil? Are the things you watch and listen to edifying to or degrading to the Spirit Father GOD has placed in you?
For it is not our outward appearance or deeds that make us sons and daughters of Father GOD, it is our inner lives.
And it is true once we take our last breath here on earth we go home. We go to the home we have chosen during the time we lived on this earth.
This home we chose with our hearts, In the Old Testament starting in Deuteronomy 4:29 we are told several times to search for the Lord GOD with all our heart with all our soul and all our might.
And to serve Him with the same.
Deuteronomy 4:29
“But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.”
Deuteronomy 6:5
“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.”
Deuteronomy 10:12, 11:13, 13:3, 26:116, 30:2, 30:6, 30:10
Joshua 22:5
“Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, to love the LORD your God and walk in all His ways and keep His commandments and hold fast to Him and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
First Samuel 7:3
Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you return to the LORD with all your heart, remove the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you and direct your hearts to the LORD and serve Him alone; and He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.”
First Samuel 12:20, 21:24
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.
Jeramiah 29:13
‘You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
Joel 2:12
“Yet even now,” declares the LORD, “Return to Me with all your heart, And with fasting, weeping and mourning;
Zephaniah 2:12
“Yet even now,” declares the LORD, “Return to Me with all your heart, And with fasting, weeping and mourning;
Matthew 22:37
And He said to him, “ ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.”
Mark 12:30
“AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.”
Luke 10:27
And he answered, “YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND; AND YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”
Matthew 22:35-39
One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And He said to him, “ ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’
Do you love the Lord your GOD with all your heart mind and soul?
Do you search Him out daily with your heart mind and soul?
Do you follow His commandments moment by moment with your heart mind and soul?
OR
Is your time spent thinking of worldly things, who you are, what you can do to benefit yourself, what gain you can achieve in this world?
Do you spend time gripping, grumbling, complaining?
Do you hold bitterness in your heart?
Do you hold unforgiveness in your heart?
Do you speak slander against others?
These are the thing that will determine where your eternal home will be, with the lord GOD or without Him.
You chose your eternal home by your thoughts and who or what you are committed to in this life.
Your will your choice.
Personally i chose to obey the words of Christ Jesus and Father God, to do my best to follow His Commandments living a life on the narrow path leading to the small gate, to some day hear His say welcome in My good and faithful friend.
Well aging we come to
It is your choice Christ stands at the door and knocks will you open your heart to Him or not.
Will you choose to have your eternal home in Heaven, or will you choose hell.
Remember this you do not know when you will take your last breath, this could be your last chance to except the Lord Jesus as your Lord, your last breath could be just seconds away. What will you choose?
To have a right relationship with Him or to continue to play church and act holly?
Choose.
