are we the remnant?
Or are we the blinded?
Do we strive to be greater in the world or do we aim to be in the will of the Father?
Do we give or do we take?
Is our desire for monetary value more sought than our treasure in heaven?
Are we more interested in personal gain?
Or is our interest in heavenly gain?
Where your heart is, is also where your treasure is; these words are true no mater how much we may not want them to be.
In this country our whole lives we have been taught success is to have, but the word of GOD says to have nothing is to have everything.
To give one’s life for another is the greatest gift of all.
But yet we gather to our self’s and hold back from truly caring for others.
Human nature:
“A dollar in my pocket is better than one in yours.”
The reality:
A Christian whose body dies with all the wealth the toys, fame and fortune: dies with nothing.
A Christian whose body dies with nothing, enters heaven with great riches.
Matthew 7:21
¶ “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.”
This new year could be the last year the United States will be seen on the face of the earth,
And Christianity could become a crim.
Will we be so planted in the ways of Christ, will be so committed to Him and His teachings we are willing to give of ourselves to trust and fully depend on Him instead of our own ways?
These are choices each of us will have to make. Will we choose wisely, or will we as normal follow the ways of man, the ways of this world, in the path of sin, in other words will we continue on the path we are on or repent and turn to GOD?
