Matthew 14:31
Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and Jesus said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Mattheew 14:28-33
¶ Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”
And He said, “Come!”
And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and Jesus said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”
When they got into the boat, the wind stopped.
And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!”
{{{ Peter, a disciples of Christ Jesus, Petr who had been with Jesus from the beginning of His ministry.
Petter who personally saw Jesus do miracles, healings casting out demands, made the lame to walk and the blind to see, that Peter.
Matthew 14:22-27
¶ Immediately He (Jesus) made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away.
After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone.
But the boat was already a long distance from the land, battered by the waves; for the wind was contrary.
And in the fourth watch of the night, He came to them, walking on the sea. When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear.
But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”
Jesus Came walking on the water to the disciples and it says they were terrified.
As a believer in Christ Jesus and a follower of Him He has asked the Father to send the Holy Spirit to dwell in you, so GOD is with you.
When fear or a time of being terrified, comes upon you remember that, remember that the spirit of Jesus is right there with you, saying to you “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid”
In Hebrews 13:5 Jesus tells us
Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said,
“I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,”
Deuteronomy 31:8
“The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
Joshua 1:5
“No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.
If being a honest follower of Christ Jesus, obeying His commandments, putting our faith and hope in Him and Him alone, not doubting Him or His word, being content with our lives and what He provides for us (for we could not all handle being millionaires, it would destroy us) no mater what may come in to our lives, we need to take to heart that He will not desert us, nor will He fail us, nor forsake us.
He is our redeemer, provider, our provision, our Lord and our friend. If Christ be for us, whom can be against us.
Matthew 14:28-33
¶ Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He (Jesus) said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”
When they got into the boat, the wind stopped. And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!”
{{{ But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink }}}
Peter did just what we do, He looked away from Christ, and Just as Peter did when we take our eyes off Christ we start to sink.
And just like with Perter, Jesus is right there and stretches out His hand and takes hold of us to bring us back to safety, and all we have to do is cry out to Him and ask “Lord, save me!”
Christ is faithful to His word, and faithful to those who are His.
Where do you stand?
Where is your faith anchored?
