James 3:13-18
¶ Who among you is wise and understanding?
Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.

But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth.

This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic.
For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.
And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

{{ Who wise and understanding?
The one who lives a life of gentleness that comes from wisdom. (the wisdom that comes from Father God)

The foolish live with; bitter jealousy, selfish ambition, arrogates and lie against the truth of GOD, this is worldly, earthly, natural this is demonic wisdom.
For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.

Wisdom from GOD is pure, peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, single-minded without hypocrisy.
Those who live in righteousness produce peace are those who make peace.
We are told if you do not have wisdom to ask God for it.
James 1:5
“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

So that you can live a life that is: pure, peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, a life in Christ Jesus that is unwavering, single-minded and without hypocrisy, a life that produces peace.

2Chronicles 1:7
¶ In that night God appeared to Solomon and said to him,
“Ask what I shall give you.”
Solomon said to God,
“You have dealt with my father David with great lovingkindness, and have made me king in his place. Now,
O LORD God, Your promise to my father David is fulfilled, for You have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth.
Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people, for who can rule this great people of Yours?”
God said to Solomon,
“Because you had this in mind, and did not ask for riches, wealth or honor, or the life of those who hate you, nor have you even asked for long life, but you have asked for yourself wisdom and knowledge that you may rule My people over whom I have made you king, wisdom and knowledge have been granted to you.
And I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings who were before you, has possessed nor those who will come after you.”
So Solomon went from the high place which was at Gibeon, from the tent of meeting, to Jerusalem, and he reigned over Israel.

This is very insightful as to how we should pray, and what we should ask the Lord for.
Those of you who have been with me for a wall know I believe the Bible is written to us, me as direction and that every thing Father GOD and the Lord Jesus has said in it does not only apply to the people of that time but to us as believers in and followers of our Lord Christ Jesus.

So here when we are shown Solomon is talking with GOD, GOD ask him what GOD shall give him, his response is what our response should be, or what we should be asking Father God for, what our desire should be.
Solomon asked
“Give me now wisdom and knowledge”
And God points out that because Solomon hadn’t asked for riches, wealth or honor, or the life of those who hate you to be snuffed out, nor for long life, Instead, he asked for wisdom and knowledge so that he could be a blessing to others.
And because of that, God told Solomon
“Wisdom and knowledge have been granted to you.”

Because Solomon didn’t ask for riches, wealth, honor nor long life: Father God told him
“I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings who were before you, has possessed nor those who will come after you.”
If you read about Solomon life, you will see that Father GOD did just as He said and blessed Solomon abundantly.

From this we can take away
[if we are asking Father God for things that will give us the ability to benefit others, He will fulfill our desires,
But if we are asking for our benefit first, chances are we will not receive.]

We are shown in James 4:3
“You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.”
King Jams states it quite well
“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”

{{{{ Conclusion:
If we are living a life dedicated to our Lord Christ Jesus,
We will be living a life of humility, grace, and peace.
And in our humility, we will ask Father God for such things that in and through our lives will bless others,
And we will not be asking for things that are for our own personal profit or states in this world.
We are told to ask for, to seek out Godly wisdom, understanding and knowledge.
We are not to seek wisdom, understanding nor knowledge from this world nor its ways. }}}}

1Corinthians 1:22
For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom;

Make sure you are searching (asking) for Godly wisdom.
