Do you live a life of gratitude for what our Lord Christ Jesus has done for you?
or
is calling yourself a Christian just a status statement that when persecution and threats upon your life come you will deny Him and His love?
Are you grateful for His plan of redemption and salvation for your soul?
Or
Are you so tangled up in your own desires that you don’t have the time to seek Him out, that you don’t have the time to spend in His word, that you don’t have the time to even show a little gratitude?
So self-centered and self-indulged, so self-consumed that your time is spent more on you and what you want, more attention for yourself, more power, more wealth more and more of the lust of the flesh?
If you are not willing to humble yourself before the Lord your GOD, repent of your sins, turn from your sins and turn to the Lord Jesus, relies the consequences.
They are true, they are just.
Our Lord Jesus, was beaten beyond recognition, hung on a cross, He was sacrificed for you. And three days later came back to life victorious over death, so that you might live with Him forever in Heaven, rather than an eternity in hell, separated from Him and His love.
For what He (Christ Jesus) has done for you, why can’t you show Him the respect and gratitude He so deserves.
When persecution comes to you because you call yourself a Christian, will you have so embraced Christ Jesus that you will stand firm in Him?
Or
Has it all just been a game, and you deny Him and walk away thinking you have saved your life?
Know where you came from and where you are going, know the end results of the choices you make today, they are either for heaven or hell.
[ Matthw 7:21-27 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you;
DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’
Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
And the rain fell,
and the floods came,
and the winds blew
and slammed against that house;
and yet it did not fall,
for it had been founded on the rock.
Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.
The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.” ]
Will you choose wisely or foolishly?
Will you build your future on the Lord Christ Jesus?
Or
Will you build your future on your own beliefs and understanding, on worldly understandings.
The rock of our foundation is to be Christ and Christ alone.
Think about your life and what you are really doing.
For you and you alone are responsible for your thoughts and actions.
This is not met to judge you nor to condemn you but rather to get you to think, and comprehend what the results of your actions and choices in life you make today will make on your eternal life once your body dies.
