Pray you have taken the time to go back over the last 8 posting and have asked and allowed the Holy Spirit to teach you and show you how to truly grasped what the Lord Jesus has said to you, to us the church.
Revelation 1:3
“Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near."
{{ we spent 8 days looking at what our Lord Christ Jesus said to the Churches
(remember if you are a true Christian, one who believes in and is a follows Christ Jesus, a keeper of His commandments)
you are the church the letters in Revelation 2 and 3 are written to.
Many, and myself also have quoited Revelation 1:3 “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy," And stop there leaving the impression that all that is need to receive the blessing is to read or hear the words in this book.
Reading the words in Revelation or hearing them read will give you nothing, just like the rest of the word of GOD hearing them or reading them will not fully accomplish much if anything in your life.
The only way to receive the blessing from the book is the second part of the verse.
“and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.”
That is to pay attention to; to consider, to go a little deeper, it is to take Christs words to heart, to adjust our lives in the ways that we think and live, to change them into the ways our Lord Christ Jesus has told us to live.
Removing the things that are not of Christ and to follow Him and His teachings.
Is this your desire?
i know it is mine, even though i have tough days at times and get caught up in work.
And then have to pull back and remember who i am actually working for, who it is that actually supplies all my needs.
And that is Father God and my Lord Christ Jesus.
The new church that is being formed out in the world believes and teaches that all will go to heaven when death over takes them no mater how they live, they teach that doing a good deed will save them, that calling them self by the name Christian is good enough.
But that is not the truth,
sadly many have been and are being deceived and drawn away from the truth that Jesus has spoken to us, the church.
Such as
Matthew 4:4
“It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.”
Matthew 4:7
“On the other hand, it is written, ‘YOU SHALL NOT PUT THE LORD YOUR GOD TO THE TEST.”
Matthew 4:10
“For it is written, ‘YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.”
Yes these were the words Jesus spoke to Satan but apply to us and are lives just as much.
God the Father spoke these words in
Deuteronomy6:13-17
“You shall fear only the LORD your God; and you shall worship Him and swear by His name.
You shall not follow other gods, any of the gods of the peoples who surround you, for the LORD your God in the midst of you is a jealous God;
otherwise, the anger of the LORD your God will be kindled against you, and He will wipe you off the face of the earth.
You shall not put the LORD your God to the test, as you tested Him at Massah.
You should diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and His testimonies and His statutes which He has commanded you.”
These are the words spoken by Jesus to those who are called by His name,
They are words that true believer in Christ Jesus take to heart, and daily work out in their lives, read and adjust your life accordingly if the desire of your heart is to remain in Heaven when the day of judgment arrives.
Matthew 7:13-27
¶ “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
A Tree and Its Fruit”
( repent of your attachment to this world and the desires of this world. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you how to find and walk on the narrow path, so that you may enter in through the small gate. )
Matthew 7:15
¶ “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
You will know them by their fruits.
Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles,
are they?
So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits.”
( good fruit is produced in the life of a Christian when he or she obeys and follows the teachings the commandments of GOD. God the Father, God the Son.
Do you truly desire to spend eternity with Christ Jesus in the presents of Father God?
Then ask, ask the Holy Spirit whom Christ Jesus has asked Father God to send to dwell in you to teach you, ask Him to teach you how to produce good fruit. )
Matthew 7:21
¶ “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
And then I will declare to them,
‘I never knew you;
DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.”
( these words of our Lord Jesus are very clear if you do not repent and follow the teaching of Father God in the old testament and are taught to us by our Lord and savior Christ Jesus throughout the new testament, and keep alive and in the forefront of our hearts, minds, and soil by the Holy Spirit as we ask Him to and allow Him to.
For not all who call Christ Jesus lord will enter in to the kingdom of heaven, but rather do to their attachment to this world, the ways and things of this world they will say Lord Lord but in return will hear the most fearful word any one will ever hear:
“I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.”
Proving that the new church that is forming in this world is wrong, not everyone will go to live in heaven, only those who find the narrow path and enter throw the small gate will enter in, all others will spend eternity in the lake of fire, in hell its self.
Because of their choice to take the broad path in life that leads to the wide gate that leads to their destruction, there are many who have and even today are living a life that is leading them to entering through it. )
Matthew 7:24
¶ “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.
Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.
The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall."
( question is will you be wise?
Will you repent of your sinful life, a life that does not embrace the teachings the commandments of the Lord GOD,
Or is your life so caught up in this world and its ways that you can’t pull away?
In John Jesus speaks these words.
John 14:15
“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”
If you love Me,,,, you will,,,, keep My commandments.
Matthew 22:36-39
Jesus was aske:
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”
And He said to him,
“YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.
This is the great and foremost commandment.
The second is like it,
‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’”
Thank about the choices you make.
Are they for heaven or for hell.
Not everyone who claims to be a Christian will enter in to spend eternity in the presents of GOD.
