Matthew 6:24-34
“No one can serve two masters;
for either he will hate the one and love the other,
or he will be devoted to one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and wealth.
For this reason,
I say to you,
do not be worried about your life,
as to what you will eat or what you will drink;
nor for your body,
as to what you will put on.
Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds of the air,
that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns,
and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not worth much more than they?
And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?
And why are you worried about clothing?
Observe how the lilies of the field grow;
they do not toil nor do they spin,
yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass of the field,
which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace,
will He not much more clothe you?
You of little faith!
Do not worry then, saying,
‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’
For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things;
for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,
and all these things will be added to you.
So do not worry about tomorrow; f
or tomorrow will care for itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

{{{ he will be devoted to one and despise the other

despise:
To look down upon with disfavor or contempt;
to contemn; to scorn; to disdain; to have a low opinion or contemptuous dislike of.
to feel a strong dislike for someone or something because you think that that person or thing has no value.
An act or expression denoting contempt.
Disobedience of the rules, orders, or process
Disdain; scorn; derision; mockery; contumely; neglect; disregard; slight.

When one knows the Lord GOD but holds to the world and its ways,
will end up mockery GOD and neglecting the teachings of GOD,
eventually disregard the Lord all together.

If seeking GOD is to heard for you,
you will eventually emerge your self in the world and its ways,
and then blame GOD for all the bad choices you’ve made and the results of them.

You will look to the world as your provider;
to take care of all your needs.
Whether it is in a job or in other people to provide.
Then turning your back on GOD will end up blaming Him when the world does not meat your needs. }}}

Matthew 7:7-11
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives,
and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone?
Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he?
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!”

Matthew 7:13
“Enter through the narrow gate;
for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction,
and there are many who enter through it.
For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life,
and there are few who find it.”

Matthew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
Many will say to Me on that day,
‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name,
and in Your name cast out demons,
and in Your name perform many miracles?’
And then I will declare to them,
‘I never knew you;
DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.”

{{{ You who go by the title Christian. Who are you really serving?
In Revelation 3:20 when the Lord states
“I stand at the door and knock”
This statement is spoken to the church, not the world. Will you answer the knock?
Will you open the door of your heart to the Lord your GOD?
Will you seek GOD, His kingdom and His righteousness?
Will you seek His face?

Or will you choose to seek the path of least resistance and follow after the world’s ways?

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

Want to serve the world instead of GOD?
Great go for it,
But don’t blame GOD when things don’t go the way you think they should.
Don’t condemn, belittle or make fun of those who chose to fallow GOD.

Realize GOD will only put up with you for so long before He will give you over to what you want.
A life without Him.
A life with out hope, without peace, without joy, without salvation.
An eternal life separated from GOD and His love.

Now, wall He is still offering you salvation,
why not except before it is too late.
He is still knocking, but for how long?

Seek His kingdom, His righteousness, seek His face.
Find that narrow way that leads to the small gate;
for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Will you be one of the few???

Think about it.
In Revelation 3:20 he Lord says
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock;
if anyone hears My voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him and will dine with him,
and he with Me.”

This is rather of sad,
in this statement Jesus is talking to the church not the world. Go read it for yourself.
This is in the messaged to the church at Laodicea,
if He was talking to the world why would He have sent it to the church?
No this is a statement made to the church because there are those in the church using the title, Christian.

Jesus is still knocking if He wasn’t you wouldn’t still be reading this,
He is at the door of your heart waiting to receive you.

Revelation 3:20-22
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock;
if anyone hears My voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
He who overcomes,
I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne,
as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

Will you overcome?
Will you hear what the Spirit is saying?
