Matthew 24:42-51
¶ “Therefore be on the alert,
for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.
But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
For this reason, you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.
Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time?
Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.
Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
But if that evil slave says in his heart, ‘My master is not coming for a long time,’ and begins to beat his fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards; the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour which he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mark 13:24
¶ “But in those days, after that tribulation,
THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL BE FALLING from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN CLOUDS with great power and glory.
And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven.
Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near.
Even so, you too, when you see these things happening, recognize that He is near, right at the door.
Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
Take heed, keep on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time will come.
It is like a man away on a journey, who upon leaving his house and putting his slaves in charge, assigning to each one his task, also commanded the doorkeeper to stay on the alert.
Therefore, be on the alert—for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether in the evening, at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning— in case he should come suddenly and find you asleep.
What I say to you I say to all, ‘Be on the alert!”
Luke 21:25-36
¶ “There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN A CLOUD with power and great glory.
But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Then He told them a parable:
Behold the fig tree and all the trees;
as soon as they put forth leaves, you see it and know for yourselves that summer is now near.
So, you also, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.
Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.
But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
{{ This may seem redundant but if it is important for GOD to put these three sections of teachings in His book the bible, then perhaps we should take note of them.
The question:
Are you ready?
Are you about doing the will of Christ Jesus?
Or are you about your own will?
The return of Christ for His church (His bride) could be at any time on any day,
No one knows but the Father (Father God).
Are you being diligent to the words of GOD or have you fallen asleep?
We are to be doing the will of our Lord, He has given each one of us a task to acomplish, are you about doing this task?
We are to be sharing His gift with the world around us,
His free gift of salvation.
We are to be sharing the life He has given us when we excepted Him as our Lord with the world around us.
If we are being diligent until His return, we will not be caught unaware, we will not be caught asleep when He appears.
Revelation 2:4-5
“But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
Therefore, remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent.”
{{ have you come to Christ at some time but now have become so comfortable that you have become slack in your dedication in your walk with Him,
if so come to Him and repent, ask to be forgiven and dedicate what is left of your time to serve Him instead of self. }}
Revelation 2:9-10
“I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy by those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
Do not fear what you are about to suffer.
Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days.
Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
{{ Christ Jesus and Father God know what we have and are going through,
They are very much aware of what is going on in the world.
And They know the treacherous times ahead of each of us, that some of us will even be put to death for standing our ground when it comes to our faith in Christ Jesus.
We are told
“Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life”
What more could we ask for?
Know this you will not get a better offer from the evil one,
the one who lulls you in to world concepts, ways of thinking and gathering of things,
so that you slowly slip away from your firm stand in Christ, don’t be deceived by faults teachers. }}
Rev 2:14-16
“But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who kept teaching Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit acts of immorality.
So, you also have some who in the same way hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
Therefore repent;
or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of My mouth.”
Revelation 2:20-21
“But I have this against you,
that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent of her immorality.”
{{ do you associate with those who live and display the teachings of the evil ones?
Do you participate with them in their worldly ways?
Have fallen in to the practice of ‘keeping up with the neighbors’
Stay away from the ones who say they are Christians but live another life style and teach another teaching.
Wouldn’t it be better to repent turn from them and their ways and meet Christ Jesus with a smile on His face rather than to follow in their path and be suddenly come upon by the Lord whit a sword.
Remember what Christ Jesus has said;
“Therefore repent; or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of My mouth.”
Do you really want to be on the wrong side of the creator of the heavens and the earth?
If not then repent and change the way you live.
Just as Christ Jesus gives the jezebel’s time to repent of their ways, He also is giving you time to repent of your ungodly ways thoughts and believes.
Repent wall you still have the time He will be coming quickly. }}
Revelation 3:2-3
“Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God.
So, remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent.
Therefore, if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.”
{{ now that’s pretty open and straight forward.
Wake up and repent remember the teachings of GOD, complete the path that God has put before you in His word, in His teachings, repent and turn to Christ Jesus.
But know this if you are not willing to wake up and repent, you will mis out.
Just like the foolish virgins we talked about a few days ago.
The choice is your will you choose wisely or foolish?
That choose is yours and yours alone.
GOD will not break your will.
Will to live with out Him and He will allow it.
Eternity in hell alone with your pain and anguish. }}
Revelation 3:8
“I know your deeds.
Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
I am coming quickly;
hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
{{ enough said?
It is your choice where you will end up Christ Jesus has opened the door, will you repent and be ready to enter in?
Or not.
