Humbling turning, praying seeking
Matthew 5:17-20
17 Don’t think that I am come to destroy the Law, or the Prophets. I am not come to destroy them, but to fulfill them.
18 For truly I say to you; Till heaven and earth perish, one jot or one tittle of the Law shall not escape, till all things be fulfilled.
19 Whoever therefore will break one of these least commandments, and teach men so, he will be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whoever will observe and teach them, the same will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say to you, except your righteousness exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Nothing of God ever changes He is the same yesterday today and forever,
And not like us when He says do not do this or that He means it and the consequences are always there, when God gave Moses the ten Commandments all those years ago they are still to be followed to day and Jesus expanse on them explaining how they deeper penetrate in to our lives but does not change them.
We are to not only live by the word of God but we are to share with others the words of God without putting in our own take on things to make it better fit to what we want or use the word of God to manipulate others to do what we want them to do.
Our lives are to be lived out in rightlessness according to the laws of God. To live them and teach them just as Father God has given them to us.
Disobedience should be punished, just as when children disobey their parents should be disciplined so must we as Christian for disobeying our Father.
Jesus said:
"I say to you, except your righteousness exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter into the kingdom of heaven".
i'm not all knowing and think about it a lot, from what i have read have come to understand this can be done by not just knowing the lays and word of Father God but by living them out each day moment by moment and letting the light of Christ shine through us to this world in the right way. And humbly going to the Father in the name of Jesus repenting for our sins each time we fall short. The word says the Lord is faithful to forgive us of our sin if we will humble our self’s before Him and with a humble heart ask Him to.
Infect in 13-14 Father God said
“If I shut the heaven that there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people, If my people, among whom my Name is called upon, do humble themselves, and pray and seek my presence, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear in heaven and be merciful to their sin, and will heal their land”.
Humbling ourselves turning from or sin and praying, seeking His presence is something we as Christians today doesn’t seem to do enough of.
