Proverbs 6:1-5
My son, if you have become surety for your neighbor,
Have given a pledge for a stranger,
If you have been snared with the words of your mouth,
Have been caught with the words of your mouth,
Do this then, my son, and deliver yourself;
Since you have come into the hand of your neighbor,
Go, humble yourself, and importune your neighbor.
Give no sleep to your eyes, Nor slumber to your eyelids;
Deliver yourself like a gazelle from the hunter’s hand
And like a bird from the hand of the fowler.
{{{
Surety:
A pledge, a guarantee, security, to become legally liable for a debt,
If you have spoken or written an agreement to do something.
Have you ever opened our mouth and said you would do something,
agreed about something, With out thinking?
And then later regretted it?
If you have caught yourself in this way,
this is what the Lord says to do:
Go, humble yourself,
and importune your neighbor.
Importune:
To beg, to urgently petition,
To press or urge, to be persistent
That you may be freed from your pledge.
The wise man will not make a guarantee for another man’s debt.
He may help him pay the debt but will not make an agreement to do so.
For you have no assurance the debtor will not leave you to pay the debt.

Proverbs 6:6-11
Go to the ant, O sluggard,
Observe her ways and be wise,
Which, having no chief, officer or ruler,
Prepares her food in the summer
And gathers her provision in the harvest.
How long will you lie down, O sluggard?
When will you arise from your sleep?
“A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to rest”
Your poverty will come in like a vagabond
And your need like an armed man.
{{{{
Go to the ant, look at the ant watch how the ant works and
Structurer your life after its ways,
The lazy man will end up in poverty,
The foolish will squander their time and resources away,
then expect someone ells to provide for them,
and even what they may have will be taken from them.
Some end up with out because of situations they have no control over,
These you help,
But the one’s who will not get up and help provide for themselves leave alone.
Or they will run you down and then move on to their next victim.
The wise man will say;
here is work, you work get paid and then provide for your self with what God has given you.
The foolish will say O you pore thing let me provide for you so you don’t have to work.
The ant works when there is work to be dune,
store up in summer months what it will need to survive the winter months.
Only the foolish depend on some one ells to feed them,
Only the foolish depend on the store to provide food for them.
The wise will grow and harvest their own food,
glean fields if they don’t have the land to produce what will be needed.
The foolish sluggard will do nothing and then depend on the government Or others to feed and take care of them.
The wise plane ahead for what they need by working,
the foolish plan ahead by scamming and theft by planning fraudulent or deceptive act.
Don’t be fooled by the fool, don’t be entrapped in to their snare.

Proverbs 6:12-15
A worthless person, a wicked man,
Is the one who walks with a perverse mouth,
Who winks with his eyes,
Who signals with his feet,
Who points with his fingers;
Who with perversity in his heart continually devises evil,
Who spreads strife.
Therefore his calamity will come suddenly;
Instantly he will be broken and there will be no healing.

Are any of these attributes a part of your life?
Are you corrupt in your speech, morals, manners, or actions
Are you obstinate in opposing what is right, reasonable, or accepted
Are you inclined to resist the authority of God.
Are you unwilling to submit to God’s discipline or to follow His teachings, His commandments.
If any of this is a part of your life,
There is only one remedy, only one help for you.
Repent, turn from your evil ways turn to God and ask for forgives.
Then make the choice to change the way you think, act and speak.
With the help of the Holy Spirit set your mind and heart to live a holy life,
Seek first the kingdom of God and His rightlessness.
Put your faith in Him rather than yourself, your schemes and plotting.
That brings us to the next section of Proverbs the seven things the Lord hates.

Proverbs 6:16-19
There are six things which the LORD hates,
Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him:
Haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
And hands that shed innocent blood,
A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that run rapidly to evil,
A false witness who utters lies,
And one who spreads strife among brothers.
{{{
I don’t know about you, but i do not want anything in my life Theat the LORD hates.
The Lord is straight forward here He straight out states what He hates.
1. Haughty eyes;
having or showing an attitude of superiority,
expressing scorn or disdain
a feeling of contempt for someone that you see as unworthy or inferior to you.
2. lying tongue;
self-explanatory, someone who lies
making untrue false statements being dishonest, misleading.
3. hands that shed innocent blood;
(( Matthew 5:21-22
“You have heard that the ancients were told,
‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER’
and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’
But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court;
and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’
shall be guilty before the supreme court;
and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell. ))
Need to be careful with how you think and treat others, so not to fall in to shedding innocent blood,
This goes beyond the act of murder it goes as deep as your thoughts.
4. A heart that devises wicked plans;
Is your heart pure before the Lord?
Or do you come up with schemes in your mind that are wicked?
If this happens be sure as soon as the Holy Spirit makes you aware of the way you are thinking you stop repent and ask for forgiveness,
ask the Hoy Spirit to remove those thought from you,
and to replace them with the love of Christ Jesus.
5. Feet that run rapidly to evil;
Do you find your self being drawn to evil, Music, movies, games, thoughts do you eagerly follow after these things?
When you are made aware something in your life that is even questionable run from it not in to it.
The Holy Spirit has been given to those who have accepted the LORD Christ Jesus in to their heart,
He has been places in you as your teacher and to guide you through life by way of the word of GOD.
So, when He makes you are made aware of evil flee,
run away from it,
do not hesitate, do not run in to it to participate in it no matter how great or glamorous it may look on the surface.
6. A false witness who utters lies,
Kind of takes us back to #2 lying,
that could be why Proverbs 6:16 says
There are six things which the LORD hates,
Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him
A false witness who utters lies;
Saying something that is not true about another person,
to make a statement saying that you saw or know something,
but you didn’t know nor did you see.
7. And one who spreads strife among brothers.
Spreading strife is always bad,
But spreading strife in the body of Christ is an abomination to the Lord Strife:
To cause discord among the body,
To fight or struggle with fellow believers in Christ
To cause division among fellow believers in Christ

Don’t know about you,
but I do not want to be on the wrong side of Father God,
His son Jesus nor His Holy Spirit.
Not a safe path to take.
