Parable of Two Sons
Matthew 21:28-32
“But what do you think?
A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said,
‘Son, go work today in the vineyard.’
And he answered,
‘I will not’; but afterward he regretted it and went.
The man came to the second and said the same thing;
and he answered, ‘I will, sir’; but he did not go.
Which of the two did the will of his father?”
They said,
“The first.”
Jesus said to them,
“Truly I say to you that the tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the kingdom of God before you.
For John came to you in the way of righteousness and you did not believe him;
but the tax collectors and prostitutes did believe him; and you,
seeing this, did not even feel remorse afterward so as to believe him.”

There are those who go to church and hear the words of GOD,
who can quote the words of GOD,
but who do not live by the words of GOD.
They do not obey the words of GOD.
They keep an appearance of a believer when around others in the church,
but in their hearts, they rebel against GOD and His word.
And live for themselves, for the world, for what they can gain,
They live for their own pleasure,
wall calming to be believers in and followers of the Lord God.
And there are those who openly rebel against GOD and His word,
But the time comes and they meat the Son of God face to face and repent.
Turning from their evil ways
they except the free gift of salvation offered by Christ Jesus
and follow His words, His teachings, His commandments.
They become disciples of Christ and out of love for Him and His word,
They become as His servants.
Obeying His word, They live for Him, Not for self,
not for personal gain,
But to bring Him glory and honor.
The sinner who sees and understands they are a sinner and repent of their sins,
turning from their sins and turning to Christ Jesus,
Obeying His word, living for Him, His glory, His honor and not their own,
These will be eagerly accepted in to the Kingdom of God,
but the ones playing church no mater how well they may play,
they will not see the Kingdom of God,
but will be cast in to the darkness of the pit of hell.
Question we all need to be asking ourselves:
Am I truly grateful to Christ Jesus for what He did for me on the cross?
Do I truly serve Him, or am I living for my own self, my own self-gratification?
Do I truly believe and take to heart what the word of GOD says?
Do I live out the words of God or the words of this world?
No one comes to the Father but that they have come to the Son,
and no one comes to the Son but that they come by the Holy Spirit.
Will you allow your heart to be softened so that the Holy Spirit
of GOD may speak to you and you hear His word.
Turn from this world, from your own desires,
turn to GOD and except His salvation,
then live your life for Him and be saved.
