Mark 13:1
As He was going out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him,
“Teacher, behold what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!”

Mark 13:2
And Jesus said to him,
“Do you see these great buildings?
Not one stone will be left upon another which will not be torn down.”

Mark 13:3-4
As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew were questioning Him privately,
“Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are going to be fulfilled?”

Mark 13:5
And Jesus began to say to them,
“See to it that no one misleads you.
Many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He!’ and will mislead many.

{{ “many will be misled”,
If i am understanding all i have been reading in the bible of GOD many will be misled do to lack of a true relationship with Christ Jesus.
Many will be deceived do to not finding the narrow path.

(Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.”)

The narrow path?
A path taken by few, a path that does not follow after man or the ways of man, a path that is more concerned about what Father God and the Lord Jesus thinks of one rather than mankind.
A path that is dedicated to the will of Christ Jesus not self.
A path that is lined with every word of GOD.
A that starts off with obeying the commandments handed down from the Father, and reinforced by His son Christ Jesus.
A path that each step is directed and protected by the will of GOD.

If you look around the ones who go by the name Christian possibly even yourself, you will see most are more caught up in the things and ways of the world rather than in the things of GOD.

i know at times i get off track and step off the narrow path, and when I notes that I am drifting the only way back is repenting and turning from the worldly ways and back to the ways of Christ Jesus.
“Fearing God and turning away from evil”
Fearing God rather than man for many is heard to accomplish, or at least a lot of people think it is, it takes making a choice to fallow the teachings of Christ Jesus.
Making a choice is something hat we do every moment of every day; the problem is most of the time we make bad choices.

right now we do have the time to repent and turn from the evil, but we might not have tomorrow.

(evil is anything that comes between us and the Lord, or any thing we put as lord in our lives other then our Lord Christ Jesus.)

As followers of Christ Jesus, we should constantly be aware of not only what we are doing but why we are doing it.
If our motives are about self, what we may gain, what others may say or think of or about us, we have stepped off the narrow path.

The wide path gives us the feeling of many options, and the ability to do and obtain anything we may want, either to have or do.
And the narrow path is presented as imprisonment, filled with many unattainable rules.
But it is actually the opposite there is so much more freedom for us if we would just stay on the Lords narrow path.

Have you ever experienced the still of a early morning?
Just as the sun is coming up, have you ever felt that peace and gentleness?
That is nothing compared to the feeling of peace of walking with the Holy Spirit down the narrow path.
Wouldn’t you like to walk and talk with our Lord Christ Jesus in the still of the morning as Adam did with God in the garden?
i know that is my desire, and it is a strong desire.

This world is not my home, and i am home sick.
So, i chose to do my best to stay on the narrow path,
And when i step off, as soon as the Holy Spirit makes me aware of it, repent and return.

The deception of this world will deceive may and draw them down the wide path of destruction, putting their own desires their lust for fame, forechain, approval of men and power ahead of pleasing the Lord God their creator, redeemer and only way in to heaven. Wall the church plays church ignoring the words of Christ our Lord their path gets wider and wider, and their distance from the small gate gets further and further away, making it harder and harder to see.

Remember these words spoken by our Lord Christ Jesus.
You want something or someone to fear?
Then fear the Lord,
fear hearing these word spoken to you.

Matthew 7:15-24
“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.
Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?
So, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
So then, you will know them by their fruits.

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’

And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you;
DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’

Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them,
may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock.”

Want to follow the narrow path?
Then listen to the Holy Spirit rather than man.
When you are attending church make sure the teachings you are listening to are the truth of the words of GOD.
Be in the word of GOD so you can judge according to the word of God the truth from the lie.
Spend time being still, being quiet before the Lord, learn to hear the still small voice of the Holey Spirit, so you don’t have to hear His load voice when it is too late.

Walking the narrow path, you will find the words in Mark 13:13 are true, but than where is your treasure in this world or in Heaven?

Mark 13:13
“You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.
Mark 13:19
“For those days will be a time of tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will.”

Mark 13:21-23
“And then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ’; or, ‘Behold, He is there’; do not believe him;
for false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect.
But take heed; behold, I have told you everything in advance.”

Christians, chose this day who you will serve.
Will it be GOD, or will it man?
Christian chose this day whom you will fear.
Will it be GOD, or will it be man?
Christian chose this day where you will look for acceptance from.
Will it be GOD, or will it be man?
Christian chose this day where you will look for approval from.
Will it be GOD, or will it be man?
Christian chose this day where you will look for pleasure from.
Will it be GOD, or will it be man?

Chose this day whom you will serve.

On all the above, i chose GOD.
Pray you will also.

If i say i have faith in GOD or i say i have faith in the Lord Christ Jesus, how far does that faith go?

Woke up today with the question on my mind:
If i trust in GOD and have faith that He will return for me,
how is that true if i don’t have the faith for Him to heal me?

If i don’t have faith in Him in and for all things, how can i say i have faith in Him at all?

Faith is all or nothing, either i trust in Him or i don’t.
Either i believe His word or i don't.
Either my faith is in Him or it is not.

i have a few health situations that eventually will kill this body, and yesterday i had a wood walkway over an irrigation dich fall through, my left leg went through jarring my whole skeleton system.
my leg was scratched up a bit, my heart seems to still be working fine but my hernia is larger than it was,
woke up around 2:30 AM and asked the Lord to heal my body,
and the thought came back to put on an ace band aid,
so now am wearing an ace band aid to hold it in and the pain has gone away.

The though came to me;
why do you say you trust Me but then doubt?
If you trust Me then trust Me in all things, for if you doubt Me why should I do anything for you?

That is what started my search as to what faith do i have?
Who do i have faith in?
Do i truly have faith in GOD?
Do i truly have faith in my Lord Christ Jesus?
Or is it just a faith of chance?

This is what i have come up with:

i have faith that the Bible is the word of GOD.
i have faith that GOD spoke all things in to being,
the heavens and the earth, the land and the waters, plant and animal life, and man and woman, that GOD birthed life in to mankind.

i have faith that GOD spoke to Noha and that Noha built an Arc that housed seven pair of each kind of clean animal’s male and female and two pair of each unclean animal’s male and female and seven pairs of each kind of bird.
And that after the Arc was built and the animals and Noah’s family were in, GOD closed the door and then proceeded to cleans the earth with a mity flood.

i believe GOD separated the red sea for Moses, that He gave David the courage to confront and defeat Goliath, that He closed the mouth of the lions for Daniel, that He was with the Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace and that they came out not even smelling of smoke, i believe He sent a big fish to swallow up Jonna and deliver Him to Neiva,

i believe that He directed Joshua in the way to win the battle at Jericho, that He spoke out of a burning bush that wall burning it was not consumed by the fire,

i believe that Father God sent His son to hearth by way of a young virgin, that He lived among mankind, that He then gave of Himself to be crucified for my sins that i may be forever forgiven and made it posable that i may live with Him in paradise.
And three days later rose from the dead victories over death hell and the grave so that being in Him i need not even fear death.

i believe that wall Christ Jesus was here on earth He feed the five thousand from five loaves of bread and two fish and had leftovers, that He feed multitudes of people twice and had left overs on both times.

i believe Jesus healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, cased the lame to walk, cast out demons and walked on the water.
i believe He raise people from the dead, speaking  “Lazarus, come forth” and that Lazarus came forth out of the grave, bound hand and foot with wrappings, very much alive.

If i believe Father God’s and the words of Christ Jesus that are documented in the Bible.
If i, if we, who go by the name Christian, and those who call ourselves followers of The Lord Christ Jesus truly believe all these things,
if we believe He can and will cleans us of all our inequities,
then why can’t we believe He can and will cleans us of ore illnesses?
If i ask of the Lord and it is not His will to heal that does not mean i am to run to man for answers.

On the web sight we just went through the Book of Job.
Father God allowed Job to be tested to the point of boils and worms being all over and in his body.
Job went through the ordeal trusting in GOD.
GOD brought Him through and eventually healed Him,
restored his health to him in His timing.
in all that took place Job stayed faithful to GOD through it all.
For it was said of Job
“Job; a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil.”

Oh, to be like Job. blameless and upright, fearing God and turning away from evil.
Having such faith in GOD that no matter what happens in my life i would have no doubt that what is taking place in my life is in GOD’s will for me,
even if to only show to Satan i am one who is upright, fearing God and turning away from evil.

We are told in James 1, this of one who asks God for anything
‘He must ask in faith without any doubting,
for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea,
driven and tossed by the wind.
For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man,
he is unstable in all his ways.’

Conclusion:
If my faith is in Father GOD and the Lord Christ Jesus,
Eith it is in faith in all things or it is not faith at all.
If i ask the Lord for healing and the healing does not come,
it is because i am to lean in to Him not wavering from that faith,
and to stay focused on Him as my Lord and savior,
my redeemer, my provider, my provision.
The One who is always faithful to His word.
The only one who can save a soil from the pit of hell.

my conclusion?
i would rather this body dies knowing my faith is still in Christ my Lord, rather than to doubt Him and His word.
i would rather hear on that day;
‘Come, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.’
rather than;
‘I never knew you; depart from Me.’

my attention should be to have total faith in the Lord, and to care more for those whom GOD brings in to my life rather than my life its self,
for my life is Christs,
to do with as He wills,
if i am truly surrendered to Him i will trust Him and place my faith in Him and Him alone.
For i believe His word and know i can not serve two masters.

Will leave you with this.
Be ready for His coming
Matthew 24:42-51
¶ “Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.
But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.”
Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time?
Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.
Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
But if that evil slave says in his heart,
‘My master is not coming for a long time,’
and begins to beat his fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards;
the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour which he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites;
in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

my faith is in Christ Jesus my LORD.
would rather this body dies knowing my faith is firmly planted in Him, rather than in a man who follows worldly ways..

Would like to share some things out of Philippians.
Hopefully you will take the time to read the entire book.

Just going to pull out some of the verses the Holy Spirit brought to my attention over the years as i have read this book.
So here we go.

Philippians 1:6
He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

{{ This is good to remember when life seems a bit overwhelming, God is faithful and will work it all out and perfect those who are His, so we will be ready when Christ Jesus comes in the clouds for us. }}

Philippians 1:9-11
And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 1:9-21
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Philippians 1:9-27
Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ,

Philippians 2:3-5
Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,

{{ “with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves”
This changed my life and the lives of those who worked for me. When i realized i was not of any more value than any one ells, everything changed.
Reminds me of in Luke 18 where Jesus told the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector.

Luke 19:9-14
“Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself:
‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.’
But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying,
‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’
I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

The Pharisee was prideful; thanking God he is not like other people and of his accomplishments how he fast twice a week, how he pays tithes no all he gets.
But the tax collector stood back, knowing he was a sinner and had fallen short of Gods commandments would not even lift his eyes to heaven, beating his breast, saying,
‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’,
the tax collector went home justified and the Pharisee went home still prideful.

And Jesus said “Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.” }}

Philippians 2:14
Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world.

{{ another one that has stuck with me over the years;
Do all things without grumbling or disputing
I was on my way to hell, Christ got my attention and i asked Him in to my heart and life,
He was willing to hang on the cross for me so what do i have to complain about, grumbling or arguing about things is not acceptable for me.

He gave His all for me so i follow Him without complaining. Living s life of gratitude. }}

Philippians 3:2-3
Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision; for we are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh,

Philippians 3:18-21
For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ,
whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things.
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;
who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.

{{ the true circumcision is the circumcision that takes place in the heart when we surrender our will to be conformed to the will of the Lord Jesus Christ, a cutting away of earthly things. For this world is not our home, our home is with our Lord Jesus Christ. In this stand firm in the Lord. }}

Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
Let your gentle spirit be known to all men.
The Lord is near.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.
The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

{{ Rejoice in the Lord always. No matter the circumstances you may find yourself in for what the Lord Jesus has done for you should always rejoice in Him.
We are told over and over by our Lord Jesus to ask in His name;

John 14:12--14
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.
Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.”

As believers in and followers of our Lord Jesus we have no reason to be anxious for anything but His return for us.
As for our daily lives we have no excuse for being anxious, if our trust and faith are set in Him.
For our Lord has told us if we are His and He is our Lord all we need do is ask in faith, asking in His name it will be added unto us.
Faith in our Lord Christ Jesus is all we need.
That does not mean if you want a new car if you ask for it you will receive it. What the Lord speaks of throughout His word is our needs food and clothing (read Matthew 5,6 and 7 and our spiritual growth, we are told to ask for wisdom, understanding and knowledge, we are directed to ask the Holy Spirit to teach us, we are told to ask when we are speaking to others for the words to say that will open the door for the Holy Spirit to draw them to the Lord.
And we are also told to ask in faith;

Mat 21:21-22
And Jesus answered and said to them,
“Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain,
Be taken up and cast into the sea, it will happen.
And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

James 1:6-8
But he must ask in faith without any doubting,
for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea,
driven and tossed by the wind.
For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

(((   if you doubt GOD, the Lord Jesus Christ, why bother asking for anything of Him except to be forgiven. )))

In Philippians 4:11-13 we are told three significate things that we should consider;
1. “I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.”
2. “I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.”
3. “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”

The Lord is faithful to all He has spoken.
Now we need to be faithful to Him and His words.

the Lord Christ Jesus is my provider but even more than that He is my provision, for other than Him i have no needs, being content with what He has provided i live in peace without anxiety, wants or needs.
Knowing that He who began a good work in me, will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Have a blessed day trusting in the Lord Christ Jesus.

Job 2:11-13 and Job 3:1
¶ Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this adversity that had come upon him, they came each one from his own place, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite; and they made an appointment together to come to sympathize with him and comfort him.
When they lifted up their eyes at a distance and did not recognize him, they raised their voices and wept.
And each of them tore his robe and they threw dust over their heads toward the sky.
Then they sat down on the ground with him for seven days and seven nights with no one speaking a word to him, for they saw that his pain was very great.

Job 3:1
¶ Afterward Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth.

{{ and from Job 3:2 through Job 3:26
Job goes on a bit of a pity party but yet will not curse God.
And that is worth taking note of, it is one thing to speak of why but it is a dangerous place to be if it turns in to questioning God, blaming God cursing God.
As believers in Christ when we come in to heard times our response should be
“Thank you, Lord, Your word says all things work together for good to those who love You God."

God gave each of us life for a purpose, and that is to have fellowship with Him, and to tell others about His love.
If we can embrace that and make our relationship with Him our #1 priority then self-awareness and self-value will dwindle away and we will be left with a heart of gratitude for what He has done for us.
We may go through times of self-pity but by holding to integrity, it will not lead to sinning against God, cursing Him or blaming Him for what we are going through. No but rather through heard times we should draw closer to the Lord, and leave our lives in His hands.

Job even though distraught, even though he had lost everything, even though he was brought to unbelievable pain and suffering, cursed himself, not God. }}

Romans 8:28
“God causes All things to work together for good to those who love God” }}}

Then from Job 4:1 through Job 37:24
The ones who called themselves friends of Job, those of the church, came to Jobe and accused him and Job responds and they go back and forth one even said he spoke for God but all accused Job but in Jobs response never cursed GOD.
In Job 38 GOD speakes to Job
And it is made clear that man did not create the heavens and earth, and that man does not control the fine inner workings of the workings of creation.
It speaks of GOD’s mighty powers, of and the beginning (creation) of nature.
And GOD and Job hold a conversation bringing Job to the point of Job’s acknowledgment of GOD and His mighty power.

Job 42:1-6
Then Job answered the LORD and said,
I know that You can do all things,
And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.
‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’
Therefore, I have declared that which I did not understand,
Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
Hear, now, and I will speak;
I will ask You, and You instruct me.
I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear;
But now my eye sees You;
Therefore I retract,
And I repent in dust and ashes.”

Job 42: 7-9
It came about after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite,
“My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, because you have not spoken of Me what is right as My servant Job has.
Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to My servant Job, and offer up a burnt offering for yourselves, and My servant Job will pray for you.
For I will accept him so that I may not do with you according to your folly, because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has.”

So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the LORD told them; and the LORD accepted Job.”

{{{ GOD shows that He is not pleased with Job’s friends because they did not speak truth of GOD And GOD tells them “My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, because you have not spoken of Me what is right as My servant Job has.”
When someone comes to you and says they speak for GOD it is time to step back and run.
If GOD has something to say to you He is capable of speaking to you on His own, He does not need an mediator He is quite able to speak directly to those who are His true and faithful servants, those who are call be His name. }}}

{{{ as GOD has spoken of Job
“For there is no one like him on the earth,
a blameless and upright man,
fearing God and turning away from evil.”

We are told by Jesus to be holy as He is holy,
To seek first the Kingdome of God and His righteousness
By being in Christ we can do this,
By believing in Christ Jesus as your Lord,
He will wash with His blood making you clean so that in the sight of the Father, Father GOD you will be excepted as a son or daughter of GOD,
made purer and righteous by the Blood of Christ at the cross. }}

In Job 42:10
GOD restores to Job not only what he had lost but even more, for he was faithful to GOD and did not turn from Him nor did he curse the LORD his GOD.
And Job lived another 140 years and died an old man.

God allowed Job to be tested by Satan.
To be acussed and tormented by his friends.
Knowing that Job was a blameless upright man,
that he feared GOD not man,
that he turned from evil.

And we go back to the question.
Can that be said of us, of you?
There is no reason it can’t be if we are willing to follow the teachings of Christ Jesus,
stop playing church,
stop listening to have your ears tickled by the world.
Turn your life over to Christ Jesus He is faithful to fulfill His promises.

i will leave you with this:
2Corinthians 6:14-2Co 7:1
Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?
Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols?
For we are the temple of the living God;
just as God said,
“I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,”
says the Lord.
“AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN;
And I will welcome you.
And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,”
Says the Lord Almighty.
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

GOD is faithful to His word,
Will you be faithful to Him?

We all struggle with the things of the world and the knowledge of the people of the world, but belonging to Christ Jesus we are given a helper to direct us through the struggles.
The Holy Spirit if you will allow Him to,
He will direct your path and lead you in to a blameless upright life,
He will teach you to fear GOD not man,
and guide your steps to turn you from evil.

GOD is always faithful to His word.
Go with Christ Jesus and go in peace. }}}

i suggest you take the time to read all of Job it is eye opening to how a righteous man deals with sorrow.

Next in Job 2 Satan was allowed to touch Jobs health.
But Jobs response was

“Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?”

In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

{{ O to have such a response when we come up against hardship, difficulties, danger or misfortune.
For so many even in the church let hard times take them down, blaming GOD and turning to their own understanding, and turn away from the LORD, rather than taking it as a time to build  faith and reliance in our Lord Jesus.

Job was so right "Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?”
Praise be to GOD for all things work together for good for those who love the LORD

Romans 8:28
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:5
For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. }}

Job 2:1-6
¶ Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the LORD.

The LORD said to Satan,
“Where have you come from?”
Then Satan answered the LORD and said,
“From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.”

The LORD said to Satan,
“Have you considered My servant Job?
For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man fearing God and turning away from evil.
And he still holds fast his integrity, although you incited Me against him to ruin him without cause.”

Satan answered the LORD and said,
“Skin for skin!
Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life.
However, put forth Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh; he will curse You to Your face.”

{{{ “all that a man has he will give for his life.”
How true is that?
Will you give all that you have to protect your own life?
Will you give your very soul to save your earthly body?
Are you willing to give up eternity with the LORD, to have what men call a prosperous life now on earth?
What are you willing to surrender?
As for me, this world is not my home, and as Paul so well put it
“to live is Christ to die is gain.”

Philippians 1:21
“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”

Galatians 2:20
“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. }}}

So, the LORD said to Satan,
“Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life.” GOD is still in control.

Job 2:7-8
¶ Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.
And he took a potsherd to scrape himself while he was sitting among the ashes.

Job 2:9-10 ¶
Then his wife said to him,
“Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die!”
But he said to her,
“You speak as one of the foolish women speaks.
Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?”
In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

{{{ something to realize and take into consideration when evaluating the words of others no mater how close you may be to them.
Ask; are the words they speak in line with the word of GOD or are they in line with the ways of the world?
Are they just foolishness?
Directing you away from the truth, away from the love of the Lord? }}}

{{{ Is it not better to go through hardships trusting the LORD to take you through rather than trusting in self or men?
If you Love the LORD and do all you can to keep His commandments, having your faith firmly planted in Him, having faith in Him and Him only, not self, others or the ways of this world.
Faith in the LORD even unto death.
i would much rather die knowing my faith was in the LORD rather than even a doctor, for a doctor can not save the soul of a man.
Rather than even a politician or government, for nether can save the soul of a man.
The Lord Jesus is our only hope for salvation, our only hope for our soul to be saved from hell.
So when you / we come in to heard times,
trust in the LORD not your own understanding,
do not blame the LORD for your trials and hardships,
but rather praise the Lord for His promises to keep you.

Seek the will of the LORD in your life,
not your life itself.

Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.
Matthew 6:34
“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own. }}}
