Philippians 4: 8, 9
Furthermore, brethren,
whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are worthy love,
whatsoever things are of good report,
if there be any virtue,
or if there be any praise,
think on these things.
Which you have both learned and received, and heard, and seen in me: you do the same, and the God of peace will be with you.

That’s rather simple want God with you, than whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, of good repute, if there is anything that is excellence and worthy of praise, stay and live on these things
The things we have learned in God’s word and with what we have received and heard from the Holy Spirit, and seen in Christ Jesus, we are to practice and live out in our lives, and if we are willing to do these things and fill our minds with His thoughts reflecting the life of Christ Jesus to others, than the God of peace will be with us.

Philippians 2:1-8
If there be therefore any consolation in Christ,
If any comfort of love,
If any fellowship of the Spirit,
If any compassion and mercy,

Fulfill my joy, that you be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, and of one judgment, Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than your-selves
Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others
Let the same mind and attitude be in you that was even in Christ Jesus, Who being in the form of God, thought it no robbery to be equal with God: but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men He humbled himself, and became obedient to the death, even the death of the cross.

We are told to consider others more important than ourselves

Let nothing be done through contention we are not to argue or debate living in conflict but rather we are to live in harmony with each other not in seeking or vainglory for our self’s, but in meekness of mind considering every man better than ourselves.

Living in and with love one for another ( they will know we are Christians by our love one for another ) ( a man can show no greater love for his brother then that he lay down his life for him )

Christ Jesus loves us, cares for us even to the point He was willing to hang on the cross for each one of us, and we owe nothing less for or to the body of Christ that we lay down our life for it just as Christ laid down His life for us.

It does not mater weather rich or pore, esteemed by the world or not, a rich man or a bagger, one who has or has not, all men are created equal and by us are to be treated as equal, you are no better than anyone ells on this planet.
This seems to be something a lot of Christians have forgotten.

Today make an effort to treat others as you would like to be treated, showing honor and respect to others. And in the body of Christ live without condemnation and strife, Love on another in Christ as Christ has loved you.

Philippians 1:9-11
And this I pray that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge, and in all judgment, That you may allow those things which are best, that you may be pure, and without offense, until the day of Christ, Be filled with the fruits of righteousness; which are given by Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of Father God.

We have all fallen short, but through the grace and love of Christ and the Father we can go on, doing our best to not live in sin allowing our love for Christ Jesus to grow knowing and making right judgments, so that our lives will bring glory to the Father, and opening our lives to be living praise to Him

Ephesians 5:25-27
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the Church, and gave himself for it,
That he might sanctify it, and cleanse it by the washing of water through the word,
That he might make it unto himself a glorious Church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing: but that it should be holy and without blame.

Love in the family starts by knowing what Christ did for you and excepting His love, and then applying those same concepts in to your relationship with your wife (or husband, this works both ways)
Husbands if you desire a wonderful fantastic loving caring wife; than treat her with loving respect cherish her, put her needs before your own, be willing to die to self for Her. And wives if you desire a husband who will love and respect you then treat Him in the same way.

As Christians we are to love one another as Christ loves the church He gave of Himself to the point of hanging on the cross in our place willingly, to die to self to save us, so what are you willing to give of yourself for your wife (or husband)? For your brother?

Ephesians 5:1-8
You therefore be followers of God, as dear children, And walk in love, even as Christ has loved us, and has given himself for us, to be an offering and a sacrifice of a sweet smelling savor to God.

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or greed, let it not be once named among you, as it is not proper for Saints to do, Neither filthiness, neither foolish talking, neither jesting, which are things not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no whoremonger, neither unclean person, nor covetous person, which is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ, and of God.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for, for such things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not therefore companions with them.

For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
Most christens seem to know about uncleanness, greed, idolatry even if they don’t stay away from it, but when it comes to foolish talking, jesting, joking and right out plane foolishness it is never considered to be sin, comedians somewhere in there joking around will but down or be little someone or a group of people.
i do believe life is to have it’s fun and enjoyable times but joking about someone 99% of the time end up being a put down so you can laugh at them in there situation.
This is not love in any way shape or form. We are to love one another and show respect for one another not make fun of or belittle others.

Just a thought for the day
