Titus 2:11
¶ For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.
¶ These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one disregard you.
{{{ the grace of GOD (Christ Jesus) has appeared.
“bringing salvation to all men” (salvation to all who will except it.)
Throughout the words of Father God and Christ Jesus we are told, yes instructed to deny ungodliness and worldly desires, to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the time and age we live in.
Titus 2:13 we are told to be looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.
Are you looking for the return of Christ Jesus?
Or are you looking for that next pat on the back from man?
Have you or will you except the free gift from Christ Jesus of salvation?
Are you truly zealous (dedicated, earnest, passionate) to obey the word of GOD to be doing the good deeds?
Or are you to bussie following the ways of the world?
As a believer in and follower of our Lord Christ Jesus we have all authority in Him to speak the words of Christ Jesus and Father God, to exhort and reprove others.
But know you must first be in the will of GOD otherwise you condemn yourself.
Let no one disregard you.
To disregard is to act with:
Contempt, disdain, disrespect, act with indifference, scorn, brush-off We are to stay steadfast to keep the word of GOD before mankind so they are not forgetting, nor neglecting or overlooking the teachings from the word of GOD.
So as that they are not living unconcern about the teachings of GOD.
But as we learned in the last post:
We are to avoid such as these;
lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power.
We are to live a life dedicated to Christ Jesus and follow His commandments so people like those, will see Him through the way we live.
That does not mean we are to associate with them, No we are to “avoid such people”
Our responsibility to them, or for them is to live a holly life in Christ Jesus and to pray for them.
For it is the Holy Spirit whom will dray them to Christ Jesus.
But just like with believers it is their choice to receive or to reject the free gift of love and salvation offered to by Christ Jesus. }}}

2Timothy 3:1-9
¶ But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.
For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith.
But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes’s and Jambres’s folly was also.
{{{ 2Timothy 3:5 ”Avoid such men as these.”
lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power.
Rather self-explanatory isn’t it, ”Avoid such men as these.”
Take a look at yourself. Are any of these in you?
If so, don’t you think it would be a good idea to change your ways?
For they don’t seem to be acceptable, we are told to avoid such men, if you are to avoid such men then why would it be ok for us to harbor such motives in our own lives?
Take an honest look at your own life and remove such things and quite associating with those who participate in them.
“Avoid such men as these.” realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. And if you spend your time with such you will be drawn to participate in such ways yourself, and can also fall in to oppose the truth of GOD. }}}
2Timothy 3:10
¶ Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance, persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me! Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
{{{ our conduct, and purpose in life should be to live a life in Christ, a life filed with faith in Him, a life of patience, love and perseverance, for just as they hate Christ Jesus they will hate us and just as He did, we will go through persecutions, and sufferings, but Christ tells us He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Living in this manner goes against what man teaches but it is what the word of God tells us to do. So you have to ask your sell: will I chouse to live a life pleasing to Father God and the Lord Jesus or will I chose to please man and follow in the ways of man.
It takes being honest with yourself, evaluating what you do and who you do it. }}}
2Timothy 3:13-17
But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
{{{ by spending time in the word of GOD (the Bible), and knowing His sacred writings (the Bible) which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Remember this All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
What are you equipping for?
Where your heart is there also will be your treasure.
Are they in Heaven or in this world?
Do you truly want to meat Christ in the air when He appears?
Then do the right thing repent of your childly and worldly ways, walk away from childish worldly ways, and seek Him and His righteousness.
And but yet aging it is your choice. }}}

Second Timothy 2:16
But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness, and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, men who have gone astray from the truth
Second Timothy 2:14-18
¶ Remind them of these things, and solemnly charge them in the presence of God not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers.
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness, and their talk will spread like gangrene.
Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, men who have gone astray from the truth
{{{ why is it we so eager to participate in useless conversations with others?
This is one good reason to know what the bible says so when someone is speaking worldly empty chatter, we know it is time to be quiet and walk away.
You want to argue over scripture you are part of the problem we are to be ready to speak the truth from GOD’s word but we are not to take part in debating the word of GOD.
(if you say the sky is blue and some one wants to argue that it is orange why get involved?
Same with the word of GOD state the truth of the bible using the bible and stay out of conversations which are based on ignorant speculations, for all they will do is produce quarreling.)
“But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness”
Second Timothy 2:21-26
Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.
Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels.
The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition,
if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.
{{{ "But avoid worldly and empty chatter"
i am reminded of this.
First Corinthians 13:11

First Timothy 6:2
Those who have believers as their masters must not be disrespectful to them because they are brethren, but must serve them all the more, because those who partake of the benefit are believers and beloved. Teach and preach these principles.
{{{ Those who have believers as their masters must not be disrespectful to. In other words, if you are working for another believer do not be disrespectful toward them. You are to give a honest day’s work plus, give your best at all times. }}}
First Timothy 6:3-6
¶ If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions, and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.
But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment.
{{{ we are told to first seek the Kingdome of God; by following (obeying) the words (the doctrine) of the Lord Jesus Christ, for His words, His doctrine conforms us to godliness.
Any, who teach or preach anything other than the truth, the word of Christ Jesus, are conceited and understand nothing.
(Conceited = arrogant, smug, proud, egotistical, vain, selfish self-important, domineering, pompous)
If you are setting under a teacher/preacher that have these attributes remove your self from under their words. }}}
First Timothy 6:7-10
For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.
But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.
For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
{{{ i have found these words to be of great value in everyday life.
“If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.”
Contentment with the things the Lord Jesus has told us He will provide for us:
Go read Matthew 6:24-34 where in the words of Jesus we are told GOD will provide our need if we are faithful to Him and Him alone.
It starts off with
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”
And also says
“But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!”
And
“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’
For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” If you have truly surrendered your life to Christ Jesus Father God will provide your needs, the truth of where your faith is planted.
If it is planted in the Lord Jesus Christ, then you will find contentment in what Father God provide for you, and you will not be looking ells where and following the Conceited the arrogant, smug, proud, egotistical, vain, selfish self-important, domineering, pompous. But if you chose to listen to and follow after strange teachings you will end up with strange beliefs and follow after the world and it’s ways. }}}
First Timothy 6:11-16
¶ But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.
Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate (the political leaders of your time), that you keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which He will bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.
{{{ we are told to flee from these things, what things?
We are to flee from the fault’s teachers from envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions, from constant friction between men of depraved mind, those who do not speak the truth of God word, those that use godliness is a means of gain. We are to flee from those teacher/preachers who are arrogant, smug, proud, egotistical, vain, selfish, self-important, domineering, pompous Instead, we are to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.
We are to fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and have made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
We are to keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
To Flee is to: to quickly run away from. Reminds me of one of my favorite chapters in the Bible.
Psalm 1
¶ How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law, he meditates day and night.
He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers.
¶ The wicked are not so,
But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore, the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the wicked will perish.
Who are you listening to? }}}
First Timothy 6:17-19
¶ Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches,
but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.
Instruct them to do good,
to be rich in good works,
to be generous and ready to share,
storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future,
so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.
{{{ rather self-explanatory as believers in and followers our Lord Jesus Christ: we are not to be conceited or have our hope fixed on riches. But rather on God, who richly supplies us with all things.
Our riches are to be in good works, we are to be generous and ready to share what the Lord has given us with fellow believers, storing up our teasers in Heaven, to take hold of the life Christ Jesus has set before us in heaven. }}}
First Timothy 6:20-21
¶ O Timothy (believers in Christ), guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called “knowledge”— which some have professed and thus gone astray from the faith. Grace be with you.
{{{ Believers in and followers of Christ Jesus:
Guard what Christ has given you.
Stay away from the worldly empty chatter
We are not to take part in arguments with those who do not speak the truth from the bible what is falsely called “knowledge” the knowledge of this world,
the knowledge of the arrogant, smug, proud, egotistical, vain, selfish, self-important, domineering, pompous.
If you call yourself a follower of Christ, then your knowledge should be coming from the word of God the Bible.
And your teacher should be the Holy Spirit.
For when you asked Christ in to your live as your Lord, He Christ went before the Father and asked Him (Father God) to send to dwell in you the Holy Spirit to be your teacher.
John 14:16
“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;"
John 14:26
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” }}}
And yet aging it comes back to you!
Who will you trust? Whom will you put your faith in?
Will you obey the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ?
Or will you fallow after the ways of the world?
It is up to you whether you enter in or are cast away.
Think about it.
If you are a believer in and follower of the Lord Jesus Chris,
And admit to the sin you harbor in yourself, repent for Christ Jesus is faithful to forgive those who come to Him and ask.
If you don’t ask you can not receive, but also if you ask in doubt you should not expect to receive anything.
Put your faith and trust in Him and be content with what He provides for you.
even unto death.

John 2:16
and to those who were selling the doves He said,
“Take these things away from here; stop making My Father’s house a place of business!”
John 2:13-17
¶ The Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
And within the temple grounds He found those who were selling oxen, sheep, and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables.
And He made a whip of cords, and drove them all out of the temple area, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables; and to those who were selling the doves He said,
“Take these things away from here; stop making My Father’s house a place of business!” His disciples remembered that it was written: “ZEAL FOR YOUR HOUSE WILL CONSUME ME.”
Psalms 69:9
I have become estranged from my brothers,
And a stranger to my mother’s sons.
For zeal for Your house has consumed me,
And the taunts of those who taunt You have fallen on me.
{{{ it may seem a small thing but it was / is important enough to Jesus that He ran the sellers out of the temple / church / the house of God / His Fathers House, to make the statement;
“Stop making My Father’s house a place of business!”
Churches now days may not sell animals for sacrifice or exchange money to buy such things, but how many churches have with in them stores?
Selling books and such?
How many every service is advertising the same?
In my heart of hearts i see no difference.
Hope i am wrong but feel it is the same and must greatly be disturbing to Father God and the Lord Jesus.
For as Christs disciples remembered His disciples remembered that it was written:
“ZEAL FOR YOUR HOUSE WILL CONSUME ME.”
We also should have that zeal for the church, not just the structural building of the church but the body of Christ, which is called the church.
It is bothersome the way those who call themselves a Christian, the body of Christ, who wright books, create songs, but then rather than share freely with the body of Christ, the church, have made a business out of what supposedly the Lord has freely given them as a gift.
(( if the books you have written are so important for others to read and are going to make such a difference in their lives then why not give them away????
If the songs you what written are so great and inspiring to the Lord why not give them away so others can freely be blessed???
Why, because they in reality, to you they are only a means of making money and gaining glory from man.
If this is not the truth then sell everything you have and give it to charity
Matthew 19:21
Jesus said to him, “If you want to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
Mark 10:21
Looking at him, Jesus showed love to him and said to him, “One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
Luke 12:33
“Sell your possessions and give to charity; make yourselves money belts that do not wear out, an inexhaustible treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near nor does a moth destroy. ))
