Luke 12:28
“But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith!”
Luke 12:22-32
¶ And Jesus said to His disciples,
“For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on.
For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.
Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!
And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life’s span?
If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters?
Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith!
And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying.
For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things.
But first seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you.
Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.”
Luke 12:33
¶ “Sell your possessions and give to charity; make yourselves money belts which do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near nor moth destroys.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
{{{ We show lack of faith in the Lord Jesus when we are concerned about what we will eat or what we will put on our bodies.
Trusting in Jesus is to put all your cares upon Him.
Having faith in Jesus is excepting what He provides for us, not what the world tells us we must have.
Having a heart of gratitude, gratefulness and thankfulness towards GOD for what is provided for you, not only shows faith in Him but by living a life of gratitude, gratefulness and thankfulness for what GOD provides will boost your faith in Him.
But as long as you are looking to the world, its ways, man or money to provide what you need your faith in GOD will grow stagnate and dwindle away. }}}
Luke 12:29-31
And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying.
For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things.
But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you.
Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.”
{{{ we are told do not seek what we will eat or drink, it appears to me that we are not to seek any worldly things, not food nor drink, not clothing, not stuff nor things, not ririches, but we are told to Seek His kingdom, the Kingdom of GOD.
The Lord says by doing so not only will He provide our needs but will also give to us entrance to His kingdom.
By doing so will also cause our faith in Him will grow.
Giving Him the opportunity to provide our needs, as He is faithful to do so.
If we are grateful for what He has provided for us, living a life of gratefulness and gratitude allowing Him to noy pnly be not only be our provider but also our provision, our faith in Him will grow to be strong and powerful. )))
Where does your daily walk show your faith is planted?
think about it.

Matthew 16:8
But Jesus, aware of this, said, “You men of little faith, why do you discuss among yourselves that you have no bread?”
Matthew 16:5-12
¶ And the disciples came to the other side of the sea, but they had forgotten to bring any bread. And Jesus said to them,
“Watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
They began to discuss this among themselves, saying,
“He said that because we did not bring any bread.”
But Jesus, aware of this, said,
“You men of little faith, why do you discuss among yourselves that you do you not yet understand or remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets full you picked up?
Or the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many large baskets full you picked up?
How is it that you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread?
But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
Then they understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
{{{ aging the Lord shows us even His disciples had a problem with faith, but yet they became each who took up their cross and followed Christ, and are the ones He used to take His gospel to the world.
Are we any different? I don’t think we are any different,
As we saw yesterday Christ Jesus has stated He will never forsake us, and if we have excepted Him in to our hearts He has asked the Father (GOD) to send us the Holy Spirit to dwell in us to teach us,
He Christ Jesus has given us every opportunity to succeed and become faithful followers of His.
His free gift of salvation, and His free gift of the Holy Spirit sent to dwelling in us, these are all we need.
A major problem is we have become so attached to the ways of the world, the money, the stuff and things, a position, worldly concepts we have become a people that think more is better, more is success, a people of little to no form of gratitude or thankfulness for what Christ has dune for us by hanging on that cross, or by raising from the dead three days later.
Christ Jesus makes it verry clear in Matthew 7:21-32 what will happen to those who put their faith in all of the above rather than Him
Matthew 7:21-23
¶ “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS."
This is not a game, for once Christ appears in the clouds for those who are His it is dune.
You need to totaly grasp the fact this not a game that you can hit refresh and start over.
We are told in Matthew 7:13-14
¶ “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Christ has given us warning after warning. Our faith may be week but we need to take the faith we do contain and place it in Christ and in Christ alone.
James 1:5
¶ But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
If you are double minded: if all the world’s riches, goals, desirers are more important to you then your walk with Christ, then your faith in Christ will be at the least week, chances are in reality it will be non-excitant.
Want your faith in Christ to be stronger than get in His word and start following His lead, repent of the sin in your life, follow His commandments, and start living the life He set out for you before you were even born.
James 4:1
¶ What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members?
You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.
You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.
You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God?
Therefore, whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose:
“He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us”?
But He gives a greater grace. Therefore, it says, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.”
Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom.
Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.
James 4:8
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
{ If you will draw near to God, He will draw near to you, let go of the world and its ways, draw close to God and see what happens.}
James 4:3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.
{ You ask but do not receive because you ask because your motives are wrong.
Want your faith in the Lord to grow?
Then make your priority’s wright spend time in the word of GOD, not just reading the words but reading what the Lord your God is saying to you, His book the Bible was written to you for you. To show you how you are to live, and by spending time with it on a personal level asking the Holy Spirit to teach you what Father God and Christ Jesus are so eagerly waiting for you to know except and understand about their love for you.
For if you understand these things your faith will grow. }
Will you take time to consider what the Lord has said, and dune.?
Do you want your faith in Christ to grow?
If so then turn away from this world ways and turn to Christ.
Spend more time with the Lord then in the ways of this worlds.
Are you truly awaiting His return or are you more concerned about the next sports event coming up, the next dollar you are going to collet, the next pat on the back you may receive?
are you on the broad path to the wide gate that leads to destruction?
Or are you willing to put your faith in Christ Jesus and take the pathe to Heaven on the narrow path that leads to the small gate.
That choice is yours and yours alone.
Think about it.

Matthew 14:31
Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and Jesus said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”
{{{ “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” }}}
Mattheew 14:28-33
¶ Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”
And He said, “Come!”
And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and Jesus said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”
When they got into the boat, the wind stopped.
And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!”
{{{ Peter, a disciples of Christ Jesus, Petr who had been with Jesus from the beginning of His ministry.
Petter who personally saw Jesus do miracles, healings casting out demands, made the lame to walk and the blind to see, that Peter.
Matthew 14:22-27
¶ Immediately He (Jesus) made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away.
After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone.
But the boat was already a long distance from the land, battered by the waves; for the wind was contrary.
And in the fourth watch of the night, He came to them, walking on the sea. When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear.
But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”
Jesus Came walking on the water to the disciples and it says they were terrified.
As a believer in Christ Jesus and a follower of Him He has asked the Father to send the Holy Spirit to dwell in you, so GOD is with you.
When fear or a time of being terrified, comes upon you remember that, remember that the spirit of Jesus is right there with you, saying to you “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid”
In Hebrews 13:5 Jesus tells us
Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said,
“I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,”
Deuteronomy 31:8
“The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
Joshua 1:5
“No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.
If being a honest follower of Christ Jesus, obeying His commandments, putting our faith and hope in Him and Him alone, not doubting Him or His word, being content with our lives and what He provides for us (for we could not all handle being millionaires, it would destroy us) no mater what may come in to our lives, we need to take to heart that He will not desert us, nor will He fail us, nor forsake us.
He is our redeemer, provider, our provision, our Lord and our friend. If Christ be for us, whom can be against us.
Matthew 14:28-33
¶ Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He (Jesus) said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”
When they got into the boat, the wind stopped. And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!”
{{{ But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink }}}
Peter did just what we do, He looked away from Christ, and Just as Peter did when we take our eyes off Christ we start to sink.
And just like with Perter, Jesus is right there and stretches out His hand and takes hold of us to bring us back to safety, and all we have to do is cry out to Him and ask “Lord, save me!”
Christ is faithful to His word, and faithful to those who are His.
Where do you stand?
Where is your faith anchored?

Matthew 8:26
He (Jesus) said to them, “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.”
{{{ And Jesus said it them and Jesus is saying the same to today you today “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” }}}
Matthew 8:23-27
¶ When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.
And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep.
And they came to Him and woke Him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing!”
He said to them, “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?”
Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.
The men were amazed, and said, “What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”
{{{ don’t give up because of your week faith, even Christs own disciples had a hard time with faith. As in what we saw yesterday; if we lack anything we need to ask the Father in the name of Jesus with out doubt. For having doubt, we should not expect anything from GOD. Seek first the Kingdome of God and His righteousness. }}}
{{{ Christs disciples were tested wall in the boat as the storm overtook the boat,
The disciples could have woken Jesus and said (hay Lord, could you calm the storm for us?) but no they responded more like we would (“Save us, Lord; we are perishing!”)
Fear and a lack of faith, but through following Christ Jesus look what they did in their walk with Christ, and if they can accomplish so much for Christ Jesus,
what is imposable for you if you surrender all to Christ and learn to trust Him?
Can you change the way you live?
Can you find contentment with where you are and what you have right now?
And leave it all to the spirit of GOD who dwells in you to guide and teach you into the ways of Christ Jesus to learn how to find the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. }}}

Faith 2 of 7
Read to the end to get full view
{{ Matthew 5,6 through 7:27 is what has been labeled “The Sermon on the Mount” The words of Jesus to His followers on how to live and the answers to much of life. }}
Matthew
6:30 “But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!”
{{{ as most of you who have been here for some time know I like Mark 5,6 and 7
Because i have been brought to believe they show us through the words of Jesus how we should live, and then the rest of Matthew give us examples of what Jesus has said being lived out.
Let’s take a look at Mathew 6:25-34 }}}
Matthew 6:25-34
¶ “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?
And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? And why are you worried about clothing?
Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you?
You of little faith!
Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’
For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,
and all these things will be added to you.
So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
{{{ Christ Jesus gives us the cure for Anxiety; and the answer to living a peaceful life.
As to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. As a believer in and follower of the Lord Jesus, He lets us know our Heavenly Father will provide all we need.
Being anxious can and most likely, will bring about doubt, mistrust, distress, fear, anger, want, discontent, hording, greed, convexness, bitterness anxiety can even bring about hatred and war.
And all these bring about week or no faith in Christ Jesus (GOD). Christ Jesus tells us our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things.
But we are to first seek His kingdom and His righteousness, and by doing that all these things will be provided by the Father for us.
So, we are not to worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Through having faith in GOD with out doubting Him He will take care of all our needs,
By trusting in Him our faith can and will grow.
If we can learn to live in contentment with what the Lord has provided for us, not striving for more and more He will not only give us what we need but much more, His desire is to take care of us and for us to flourish in the life He has given us.
And for this to happen through Him not through us pushing for things to happen not for us to strive, to manipulate things to happen.
i think about the most dangerous attribute of anxiety is greed.
Greed is an insatiable desire for material gain or social value, such as status, or power.
Greed has been identified as undesirable throughout known human history because it creates behavior-conflict between mankind.
Greed leads one away from faith in Christ Jesus and leads to hearted and war. And as followers of Christ, we are to the light of the world
Matthew 5:14-16
¶ “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
“You of little faith!”
It seems imposable to grow faith in Christ, but Father will help your faith grow if you will first seek His kingdom and His righteousness first, first not after you seek for everything ells but first. Yes above refers to food, drink and clothing, but this truth fallows through every aspect of our lives in Christ Jesus.
Jesus said if you, lake anything, “ask in My name”
John 14:13 “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” John 16:26 “In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; Here are the remaining matches.”
John 14:14 “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.”
John 15:16 “You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.”
John 16:23 “In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you.”
John 16:24 “Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.”
Understand Jesus is talking to those who have chosen to except His free gift of salvation and are seeking the kingdom of GOD and His kingdom and His righteousness first. FIRST. If this is you and your faith week or nonexistent?
Then ask for your faith is week,
Than ask it to be made strong, and over abundant.
But remember this when you ask, do not doubt. }}}
