Happy Thanksgiving
To me that has always seemed a funny thing to say Like happy, happy joy, joy Being thankful is a state of mind we should be in at all times, for Christ has given Himself for us and has promised to take care of all out NEED’s .

And we should be thankful even grateful for Him and what He has done and is doing in us each and every moment of each and every day.

Family should be thankful for family and tolerate each other’s differences more than two or three days a year.

i am thankful and we do celebrate thanksgiving, but i believe there is so much more to being truly thankful than a bunch of food and a ball game, and that most really don’t even think about being grateful or thankful on this day any more than any other day, for most are not truly aware nor do most even take the time to think of the blessing in their lives, they live their lives like they use a light switch, you hit the switch and the light fills the room –you get up in the morning and just flow through the day
and the only time either are really thought about is when they don’t work the way we think they should, power is out light is broken - sickness or a loss

Take the time not only today but every day to be thankful for you truly are blessed.

Happy Thanksgiving

Matthew 5:20        "For I say unto you, that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not inter the kingdom of heaven".

Matthew 5:48        “Therefore you are to be perfect; as you’re heavenly Father is perfect".

These two have been on my mind, im not sure who or what the scribes and Pharisees were, i would think that the scribes were the ones that wrote out the scriptures and the Pharisees were the religious leaders of that time, but what they did or how they lived their lives, im not sure for we only get glimpses of them in the bible, and im not going to speculate.

But i do understand being perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect, God has no sin in Him,

i thank that God, or our heavenly Father must be more righteous then scribes and Pharisees, so i suppose that instead of spending a lot of time trying to find out how the scribes and Pharisees lived we should work on getting the sin out of our, my life.

Matthew 11:20-24        Then He began to reproach the cities, in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent.
21 “Wow to you, Chorazin! Wow to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had occurred in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 “Nevertheless I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment, then for you.
23 And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You shall DECEND TO HADES; for if the miracles had occurred in Sodom which occurred in you, it would have remained to this day.
24 “Nevertheless I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, then for you.”

Makes me thank that sense we have the word of god and He has put record of the miracles in His word, so that we may know of them, and then there are the miracles that happen in our lives each day, but yet we do not repent of our sins, how much worse will it be for us????

James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins one to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
Now that's a tough one for now days man has gotten so far from the spirit of God that even in the church if you have sinned and confess to another you will find yourself treated differently, forgivness has been replaced with gossip and an attitude of superiority, one who has fallen in to sin is looked down on instead of lifted up in prayer. in stead of being richtous we just act richteous.
1Jhon 1:9       "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".

Psalms 32:5     "i acknowledged my sis to Thee, And my iniquity i did not hide; i said, “i will confess my transgressions to the Lord”; And Thou didst forgive the guilt of my sins.

Confessing our sins is required, but aging confessing one to another now days is difficult, the word says the prayers of a righteous man can accomplish much, but where can we find a righteous man,
What i have seen over the years is if you share your sin with someone, then you are treated differently, and it is not forgotten by the person, and in some cases is shared with others,
We eat our wounded!
But it says if we confess our sins He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from unrighteousness. Sense Jesus is righteous and prays to the Father on our behalf, if we confess our sins to him, He will be faithful to forgive us and cleanse us.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

Confess to Christ and live out your new life before man.

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how will it be made salty aging? It is good for nothing any more, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

Salt; as a mineral;
It kills germs, is an abrasive, brings out the flavor of things, and heals, preserves, and is bold or outstanding in flavor.

As a follower of Christ; Eliminates sin, irritation to the sinner, brings out the best in people, heals the sick and lost, keeps those whom have been salted. is bold and speaks the truth.

Matthew 5: 14-16
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Nor do men light a lamp, and then hide it, but put on the lampstand; and give light to all that are in the house
“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Luke 8:16-18 says it rather well,
“Now no one after lighting a lamp covers it over with a container, or put is under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand, in order that those who come in may see the light.
“For nothing is hidden that shall not become evident, nor anything secret that shall not be known and come to light.
“Therefore take care how you listen; for whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even what hw thinks he has shall be taken away from him.”

Either we are to be salt to this earth and shine the light of Christ to all whom we come in contact with, or we will lose what has been given to us, and for those that think they have Christ in their lives but truly have not made the choice to ask Jesus in and asked to be forgiven and then follow Him, they will lose even that that they thank they have (their lives).

Most pastors in America won’t confront sin in the church, and will purposely overlook and make excuses for it rather than to confront the ones doing the sinning.

Each and every moment of each and every day we should not only care what Father God thanks of us but we should be afraid of offending Him, Father God is purer, without sin, and no sin can be in His presence! So if you have unforgiven sin in your life you cannot be in the presence of Father God! That means no heaven when you die! Do you know what moment of what day you will draw your last breath? If not then each and every moment of each and every day we should be constantly aware of our words and actions! Be honest, no man knows the hour he will take his last breath, nor does anyone know the hour that the Lord will return!

That is why i thank this journey is so important.

You may thank i am totally off the wall, old faction, trying to be to holy, self-richest, or a number of other things, but you know what, i really don’t care what you think of me! Your opinion really doesn’t count nor does it carry any weight on if I make it in to heaven or not; YOU ARE NOT GOD!!!!!

And I am sick of people and pastor’s saying “well yea it is in the bible but we are human, and no one can live that way now days”, how sad is that? It shows that they have no faith in God what so ever! Or “you need to tapper down what you are saying, you will offend people”.
How sad when you can’t speak the truth because it will offend someone.

So let’s try these on:
Matthew 3:2 “Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand,
Mark 1:15 “the kingdom of God is at hand: repent and believe on the gospel.”
Luke 13:3 “I tell you, no, but, unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
Acts 2:38 “Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Sprit
Acts 26:20 “that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds appropriate to repentance.
Ezekiel 18:30 “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his conduct,” declares the Lord God. “Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not became a stumbling block to you.

i do relies there are those who will say yea but He is speaking to the house of Israel, yes He is but the bible was written for us so that we can know how to live and serve Father God and on the day of death or the day of His return to get us, so we can go and live with Him forever in Heaven, So i would rather be on the safe side and reed this as;

Therefore I will judge you, jay, according to your conduct,” declares the Lord God. “Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not became a stumbling block to you.

This is how i read the bible as if the Lord is talking directly to me and telling me what to do and not to do, like i told you in the beginning, this is not about you but you can come along if you want.

It is time for Christians to stand up and be the men and women God created us to be and to stand up for what is right, pure and good, to stand firm in the word and will of the Lord, and to cut sin out of our lives and the church, for God will not partner up with sin and nether should we, weather out of the church nor in the church.
I know the guy is a thief but I am going to allow him to care for my house, I know the guy is a child molesters but I’m going to allow him to care for my children,

I know the fox eat chickens but I’m going to allow it to live in my chicken coop,

I know he does bad things and can’t be trusted, but Jesus love him so I will look the other way and put up with it, even though he is distracting and leading others from the word of the Lord

I DON’T THINK SO: it is time the church stood up for the word of the Lord so it and our lives lived through Jesus will draw others to repentance and salvation.
i see why the world sees Christians, the church, as hypocrites, because most of us are.

Matthew 8:13 “As you have believed”,     and his servant was healed
Matthew 9:2 “Seeing their faith”      Your sins are forgiven
Matthew 9:22 “Your faith has made you well”      and at once the women was made whole.
Matthew 9:28,29 “Do you believe I am able to do this?”      Be it done to you according to your faith”

Matthew17:20, Mark 11:22, and Luke 7:50 “Your faith has saved you go in peace”
Galatians 2:16 “that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works”
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved by faith
Ephesians 6:16 “Taking up the shield of faith”
1 Peter 1:5 “protected by the power of God through faith”

After reading these and the situations surrounding them, it seems that faith in God is the most important thing we can have.
For by faith we will be saved our sins forgiven, by faith we will be healed, and by faith in Father God and Crist Jesus we can move mountains in our lives.

doubting destroys our faith
