Day 19

“Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces."

Ever been torn up by someone you have shared with?
After sharing the word of God with someone and they turn on you, walk away for they are the swine of the earth, and will trample you under foot if you stay around them. Keep the word of the Lord in your heart, when the Lord shares something with you hold on to it keep it and possess it and only share it with ones hum the Lord has directed you to.
There are people the Lord has told us to stay away from, and these are one of those people.

Do not associate with:
Proverbs 20:19 He who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets, Therefore do not associate with a gossip

Proverbs 22:24 Do not make friends with a man given to anger; Do not associate with a hot-tempered man

Psalms 26:4 I do not sit with the deceitful, nor do I associate with hypocrites.

1Co 5: 11-13 But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church?
Are you not to judge those inside?
God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”

It seems most common that the person who is most willing to tear you apart is the one setting with you in church Sunday morning; beware of the wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Day 18

Matthew 7
“Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.
Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and behold, the log is in your own eye?
You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.”

We have no right to point out someone else’s faults, unless we have and are willing to take care of our own first.

What i have seen and found to be true in the Church of America is that even trying to explain what log you have seen and dealt with in your own eye they will take offence.

Example:
A brother after studding found his concepts were wrong, and after many months of prayer, studding and listening he became even more aware of what to him was sin.
He changed what and how and when he did things.
He did not go and tell everyone in the Church they had to live their lives the way he has chosen to live His.
After four months of changing his life, members of the Church even a few in leadership cam to him and wanted to know what was wrong (“are you upset with the church?”) was one of the questions they asked.

He told them why he was doing what he was doing and how He felt the Lord had been quickening his heart to live His life is the manner He now was, first response was “you have no right to judge the church in this manner.” “You need to take the log out of your own eye before you start judging the Church” The body and the leadership tock offence as to the manner in which He now lived, amazingly his employer was not and even adjusted His hours to accommodate his new life style and time schedule. His employer was not a Christian, (key words was not).

to me the most disturbing statment made was "Jesus came so that we can be free and it doesn't manner what day we worship the Lord" When God's word says we are to keep the Sabbath day and keep it holy to the Lord, and the word of God does not change it is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Jesus said He did not come to change the word but to fulfill it, what Jesus has dune is make it posable for us to go to Him and ask to be forgiven when we blow it, not so we could disobey His words.

The truly amazing part is that no one even knew till one Saturday the men of the church got together to watch a baseball game on a Saturday, and He said He couldn’t go. When asked why by one of the pastors all he said was I don’t believe that is the way the Lord wants me to spend my time on His holy day of rest.

The big problem Saturday, my friend read you are to keep the Sabbath, and spent time researching what the Sabbath is and is for. And found that the Sabbath is from sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday, and is to be spent in rest with the Lord. Up to this point in time He had been doing this each weekend for thirteen weeks and no one knew any different but when confronted it was turned on Him that He was judging the church and he needed to deal with the sin in his life before he attacked the church.

He was even created with the inspiration for the pastor preaching on this portion of scripture one Sunday morning, sad but true.

My friend’s new life; from Friday at sundown till Saturday at sundown he spent his time in the word, praying, and resting, he did no physical labor, even all his meals for this time were made Friday during the day (a lot of cold sandwiched, fruit and raw vegetables) at about seven months his boss made the comment (“what’s different with you”, “you’re doing a much better job and seem to be happier and more at peace”) this opened the door for Him to share the Lord with His boss and His boss asked Jesus in to His heart.

Another thing i have seen is if you see something in your brothers eye don’t say anything then go and look in your own eye for that same thing in your own life and deal with it, and then, but only if the Lord directs you to, go to your brother, and share what the Lord would have you to share.

When it comes to judging we are not to judge the world but we are to make an judgement on someone calling them self a Christian as to their fruit and what their life is saying , and if they are truly following the words of Christ, not to death but to rightlessness, otherwise we could be lead astray from the true words of Christ.

1Co 5: 11-13
But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church?
Are you not to judge those inside?
God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”

This cannot be done without judging, (evaluating) Judging: to look upon a word or action to determine if it is wright or wrong. Evaluating: to look upon a word or action to determine if it is wright or wrong.

Day 17

¶ “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. "
"For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor do they gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?
And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?
And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!"
"Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?"
"For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

Why are we not content with what the Lord has told us; that He will provide us with food clothing and shelter, why is it that we feel the need to go out and strive to have more, to have the newest and latest popular thing, food , clothing or a bigger home.
Why are we not content?
i have seen it is a lack of gratitude.

When the wagon trains were coming across the country some were caught in winter, by spring many had died and the ones who were left were sick, they had had no green food to eat foods that give you vitamins and minerals that keep your body functioning properly, spring shows up and the first plant out of the ground?? Any guess? Dandelions

Dandelions have been revered since earlier times, as one of the most sought-after herbs to enliven your daily meals. Almost all the parts of the plant; leaves, flower tops, and root found use as culinary greens or as a curative remedy for certain medical ailments.
Dandelions provide: Energy, Carbohydrates, Protein, Fats, Dietary Fiber, Folates, Niacin, Pantothenic acid, Riboflavin, Thiamin, Vitamins A, C, E, and K, Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Phosphorus, Selenium, Zinc, Carotene-a, Carotene-B, Cryptoxanthin-B, Lutein-zeaxanthin

God has provided one food that will keep the body alive and operating take Potassium the 389mg in Dandelion will keep you from having seizures.
But what we have been told by the world is kill the dandelion and free the world from this disgusting weed. So how much time and money and effort is spent each year to eliminate this wonder healing food that God provided for us; And how much is spent on purchasing man made substitute for all that is provided in the Dandelion for free?

Dandelion Health benefits

  • Certain chemical compounds in fresh dandelion greens, flower tops, and roots are known to have antioxidant, disease preventing, and health promoting properties. 
  • Besides, its latex is an excellent laxative. These active principles in the herb help reduce weight and control cholesterol levels in the blood. 
  • Dandelion root, as well as other plant parts, contains Taraxacin, a bitter crystalline principle, and Taraxacerin, an acrid resin. Further, the root also contains inulin (not insulin) and levulin. Together, these compounds are responsible for various therapeutic properties of the herb. 
  • Fresh dandelion leaves carry 10,161 IU of vitamin-A per 100 g (about 338% of daily recommended intake), one of the highest source of vitamin-A among culinary herbs. Vitamin-A is an essential fat-soluble vitamin and antioxidant, required for maintaining healthy mucosa and skin. 
  • Its leaves packed with numerous health benefiting flavonoids such as carotene-ß, carotene-α, lutein, cryptoxanthin, and zeaxanthin. Consumption of natural foods rich in vitamin-A and flavonoids (carotenes) help the human body protect from lung and oral cavity cancers. Zeaxanthin supposed to possess photo-filtering functions and therefore, may help protect the retina from harmful UV rays. 
  • The herb is an ideal source of minerals like potassium, calcium, manganese, iron, and magnesium. Potassium is an important component of cell and body fluids which help regulate heart rate and blood pressure. Iron is essential for red blood cell production. The human body uses manganese as a co-factor for the antioxidant enzyme, superoxide dismutase. 
  • It is also rich in many vital vitamins including folic acid, riboflavin, pyridoxine, niacin, vitamin-E and vitamin-C that are essential for optimum health. Vitamin-C is a powerful natural antioxidant. Dandelion greens provide 58% of daily recommended levels of vitamin-C. 
  • Dandelion is probably the richest herbal sources of vitamin-K; provides about 650% of DRI. Vitamin-K has a potential role in bone strengthening by promoting osteoblastic activity in the bones. It also has established role in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease patients by limiting neuronal damage in the brain.

After eating the dandelion many of the people that were left on the wagon train were healed and went on to finish there tip.

So do you approach the Dandelion the way they did, with an attitude of gratitude for what God had provided, or do you approach it with the world’s attitude of disgust and then go to the doctor to find out what is wrong with you.

i can tell you what’s wrong; you are serving man not God!

Do you need the newest and latest smart phone?
Do you need designer name brand clothing; does a couple need a 1,300 square foot house or bigger?
Do you need processed food man has made for you?
The answer to all three questions is NO.
What you need is to trust God for all your needs and what does God says you need, to have faith and trust in Him, to except the blessing He has given you and live with an attitude of gratitude, not want and need.
Serve and depend on God not man, for you can only serve one.

“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?
For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

Day 16

¶ “The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light.
But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

Great question, one that each of us should ask ourselves. How great is the darkness in me?
Am I seeing things the way Christ sees things or am I looking at things through the eyes of a worldly man?
Do I spend more time looking at worldly things or at spiritual things, am I more interested in a ball game on Sunday than I am in what I may have heard in church Sunday morning?

What is fogging up the vision, and keeping the truth of Christ from your heart and mind? Seek first the Kingdome of God.

{{ Could it be all the time spent to get the stuff and things you are spending all your time, money and energy on trying to poses and then keep? }}

Day 15

¶ “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for your-selves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

If you would like to read it for yourself it is Matthew 6: 19-21 find it, read it, and own it, take it to heart.
If the stuff and things you have or don’t have for that manner are of more importance and value to you than the salvation of the spirit of a man, you loss.
Truly it is that simple.

Christ so loves us that He was willing to give Himself for us and we should have that same mind set for others, to be willing to give it all for the salvation of others, as Christians we are the feet and the mouthpiece for Christ today and what other see in us and hear coming out of us is supposed to be of Christ, not man.
When an item has more value to you then the salvation of another human, you lose, you may gain the whole world but you will lose your sole.

Realize when you die whether you go to heaven or hell you will not take your stuff and things with you.

{{   Another Side note: Christ has only asked for 10% of what we have 10 % of our increase, and as a people we seem to waste the other 90% on useless things that we have convinced our self we need.   }}
{{   First we waste so much time and energy working to have money to purchase things then we spend even more time, money and energy on up keep, repairs, and to replace what we already have, building our own little kingdoms, Spending time, money and energy that could have been spent to further the kingdom of God. Where do you store your treasures in heaven or on earth?   }}
