Day 9
¶ “Again, you have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT MAKE FALSE VOWS, BUT SHALL FULFILL YOUR VOWS TO THE LORD.
But I say to you, make no oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, or by Jerusalem, for it is THE CITY OF THE GREAT KING.
Nor shall you make an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black.
But let your statement be, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is of evil
Speaking the truth with simple words
Not a concept this world knows, listen to people speak; ask a question that can be answered with a simple yes or no, 99% of the time you will hear a long undeceive answer.
That really never answers the question.
Keep it simple or keep it sinful.
Homework:
take the day and when asked a question answer yes or no, use as few words as posable.
Try it you’ll find it cuts down on strife, anxiety, and stress.

Day 8
¶ "It was said, ‘WHOEVER SENDS HIS WIFE AWAY, LET HIM GIVE HER A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE’; but I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the reason of un-chastity, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery."
Well that’s rather simple don’t need twenty commentaries or to know what the atmosphere of the day was, you have no excuse or reason to get an divorce except for adultery.
But if you go a little deeper in to the words of Jesus He tell us to forgive one another 7 times 70 and in that statement He did not say except for adultery.
He said forgive, yes you have an out if you are looking for one but consider these two things; have you been forgiven of your thought life, your sins? Do you want to be forgiven, than forgive.
For if you take forgiveness in to consideration you have no excuse for getting a divorce.
Just a thought; how many times have you committed adultery when it comes to your relationship with Christ?
Think about it!!! Should Christ divorce you?

Day 7
¶ “You have heard that it was said,
YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY;
but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
If your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell."
Heard words?
Who you looking at lately and when you’re looking what are you thinking?
Are your eyes your problems or is it your heart?
Your heart and your mind work together to lead you into sin, if you cannot control your heart and mind you are better off losing your eyes, but even if you were to tear out your eyes if your heart and mind are corrupt you will still sin for your heart and mind can conger up thoughts and images, and in a corrupted mind you sin with your thoughts and that is what Jesus is getting at in this section of Matthew.
Your eyes are the windows to your heart and mind, what are you allowing in for your mind to think upon?
When we speak of Adultery the first thing most people think of is between a man and a woman, but is it not adultery when we put anything in our lives above or before Christ? What we put our minds to and our hands to if not for the glory of the Father and the Son is a form of adultery and should be cut from our lives, sense it stems from a heart situation are we to cut our hearts out?
No Christ is trying to get us to understand the depth and importance of having and living a life dedicated to Him and His ways.
Take thought of what you are allowing in to your eye and what you are putting your hands to do; for it is they who will lead you astray.

Day 6
¶ “You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER’ and ‘Whoever commits murder will be liable to the court.
But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.
Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.
Make friends quickly with your opponent at law while you are with him on the way, so that your opponent may not hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
Truly I say to you, you will not come out of there until you have paid up the last cent.
Who you killed lately, family member, coworker complete stranger????
Strange question to ask, but what Jesus has said is if you are angry with a brother it is the same, and that if you are having a problem with someone go to them and make it right.
The world says it is acceptable to be angry and seems like it is almost demanded by some, and the world will not prosecute you for being anger but the day will come when you will stand before Father God and be judged for not only your actions but for your thought life.
hummmm another uh oh, who were you angry with this last week???
Did you make it right?
If they didn't know than just goto Father God and ask to be forgiven, it they did know than go to foather God and ask to be for given and then go to them and ask them to be forgive you.
get it taken care of sooner rather than latter.

Day 5
¶ “For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Uh oh who just got their bubble burst?
If we do not live a righteous life we will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Period end of story!
HO that’s right we have forgiveness from Christ,
Jesus said follow Me, believe in Me and repent we start on the path of being a follower of Christ we come to the understanding we are a sinful people in faith we repent and ask for forgiveness, then go on with life and each situation we pick up a bit of league, an attitude hear and attitude there, bitterness because we got offended, pride, envy and greed.
Look at your life, is what you do each day more important than time spent with the Lord?
The scribes and Pharisees were arrogant and prideful, they keep the law but they wore it as a badge that gave them the authority to lord over others.
Yesterday I posted about the Mezuzah and how it is a Symbol: A Christian or Jewish household is created by the people who live in it–by the way they act, the things they do and don’t do, the beliefs they hold.
And a Symbol that: A Christian or Jewish way of life is a portable faith; you can take it with you anywhere you go.
The thing is find out who Christ is, who you are in Him, what He tells us to do and be through and in faith trust Him and follow after Him with your whole life.
Check your attitude, take a good long look at what you do and don’t do, and reevaluate your beliefs (not what you tell people you believe but what your heat and soil truly believe)
“For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven."
These are the word of Jesus Himself.
So if you have found your self leaningmore in to the world and worldly ways repent ask for forgiveness, correct the problem, follow after Jesus and His teachings
And get out ther and make a difference.
Should be back on Tuesday, be blessed listen to the Holy Spirit and follow Jesus.
