Day 4

¶ “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.
For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

Aging simple and to the point Christ did not come to abolish what we have been told to be or do in the bible, and He did not come so that we can make our own law’s.

Simple even though there are 613 commandments in the Torah (the Jewish and Christion Bibles) not just the ten most people know and the two Jesus said, and it is amazing how so many people can tell you some or all of the ten but don’t bother to follow them, what will they do with the 613???

The 613 are broken down in to 34 areas of life; you can go to the post on August 30th and read them all if you want, or keep reading and you won't need to.

Not one of these laws did Jesus come to get read of.

And yes simple because Jesus summed them all in to two in Matthew 22:38-40 Jesus tells us:
‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND. This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.
On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”
As a Christion we are still to follow the 613 laws, and yes at the same time Christ came to earth lived, died on the cross for our sins, and brought us forgiveness, and through Jesus we are covered yes I get it but if we are not living the way Christ has set out for us to live (the commandments) we are not living a life worthy of Christ the word says many who call Him Lord will not enter in to the kingdom of heaven, the path is narrow and the gate is small and few there are that find it.

A lot of Christian don’t like that facts, but if you would take the time to read the word of God without trying to justify the sin in your life you might see and understand you are not on the narrow path leading to the small gate, and you will not enter heaven, for Jesus said, depart from me I never knew you. Read it for yourself. Matthew 25:34-46 and Luke 13:22-30

The Jewish people have what is called a Mezuzah it is a Symbol hung on the door way of Jewish homes declaring their faith and life styal:
A Christian or Jewish household is created by the people who live in it–by the way they act, the things they do and don’t do, the beliefs they hold.
And a Symbol that:
A Christian or Jewish way of life is a portable faith: you can take it with you anywhere you go.

As Christians the Christian way of life should be a symbol of Christ for all to see.
What is your life a symbol of?

Day 3
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

This little light of mine i’m going to let it shine.
How dark is the light in you?
Turn up the wattage and let your light shine before men that your Father How is in heaven may be glorified.

Or live in the darkness and be afraid, be afraid of offending someone be afraid of someone will say about you if you speak of Jesus and His love for them, be afraid of rejection, but most of all be afraid of eternity.
For Christ told you “confess me before men and I will confess you before my Father, deny Me before men and I will deny you before My Father”.

Rather simple let the light i have put in you to shine for others to see or live in the darkness forever.

Your homework:
Go forth today and let that light Christ has put in you shine forth to every one you come in contact with.
Once you listen to LZ7 you may not like there music but look at this you tube clip listen to the words and look at the clip carefully.
A good deed dune and your light shins out. Go forth and shine.

Day 2;
¶ “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again?
It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

How many Christians do you know, (or perhaps you are one) who has true conviction, that when they open their mouth and speak you know they know Jesus and His love?
i don’t mean someone who after every sentence they say thank you Jesus or praise God. But rather those people whose language is not vial rude loud, crude or hateful and just at the appropriate time know to speak of Jesus and His love, but without even speaking, you know they are different in a good way?
Most of the American Church to day has little to no salt, the masses just go along with whatever the world says is the thing to have, do or say.
Lookiing at the majority of American Christian is no different than looking at the heathens in thhis world.

Before you lose your salt completely standup, be different, then the world, let the life of Christ shin through the life He has given you before it is too late and you are trampled underfoot.

Eternity is a long time, where will you spend yours?

your homework:
go be salt to the world around you, bringing that savory salt that penetrates bringing that calming joy and peace that can only come from Christ Jesus.
Make a difference for Christ; make a difference for good instead of evil.

Day one:: Matthew 5
When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him. He opened His mouth and began to teach them, saying,
¶ “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
¶ “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
¶ “Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.
¶ “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
¶ “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
¶ “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
¶ “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
¶ “Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
¶ “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Jesus is such a good teacher simple clear and to the point.
If you have a humble heart you get the kingdom of heaven
If you mourn you will be comforted
If you are gentle you will inherit the earth
If you hunger and thirst after for righteousness, you will be satisfied If you are merciful you will be treated mercifully
If you have a humbled heart and attitude you will see God
If you are a peacemaker you will be known as a son of God
If you are persecuted for pursuing a righteous Christian life you will inherit the kingdom of God
When people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Jesus. We are to rejoice and be glad, for our reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets.

Wow simple to the point teaching; you do this you get that. Your homework for today is read Matthew 1-4
And read Matthew 5”1-12, right it out praying and asking the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you and to show you anything He desires you to see.
