We are going to take some time and a look at First John and relate it to our daily walk in this world So hold on here we go.

1st John 1:1-4
Christ Jesus who has been from the beginning, Christ who is the Word, the Word whom we have heard, He who we have seen with our eyes, Him who we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life and, His Life which was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life of Jesus Christ and that eternal life He has offered to all, Christ was with the Father and was manifested to us, what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete.

For all Christians it is a privilege and should be a joy to share and tell others of the love and forgiveness offered to us by Father God through His son Lord Jesus.
To live a life that reflects the light of Christ should be the goal of each and every person who claims to be a Christian for to be a Christian means to be like Christ. And just as the moon has no light of its own but is bright in the night sky by reflection the light from the sun, we also in this darkened world should shine bright reflecting the light of Christ, for all to see.

In John 9:5 Jesus said        “While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.”
And in John 8:12        “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”
Matthew 5:14-16        “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Jesus is the light and we are to be as a lamp or candle shinning His light to this world for we cannot produce any true light on our own.

Christ did not give us light to hide it in the church He gives us light to be that city set on a hill as a beckon to draw the world to Him, and as a lighthouse to be a warning to this world of the coming wrath of judgment that Father God will soon lose upon this earth.

Christ has given each of us the ability to reflect His light to this world the question is, is your reflector (your life) set to reflect the most light posable? Or is it turned, not pointing directly at the Lord Jesus but pointed at the things of this world?
How bright is your light?

Plans of men are not the plans of Father God. i was going to go back to finish up what looked like 22 days more on love but seems that’s not going to happen right now. So we move forward.

Hebrews 12:14-17 Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.
See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many are defiled; that there is no immoral or godless person like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal. For you know that even afterwards, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought for it with tears.

Esau gave his birthright (his inheritance) away for a simple meal, a bowl of stew, to never to be able to receive it; he received a few moments of physical pleaser.

As Christians it seems we do the same thing, we willingly give up our inheritance in Christ for the pleasure of sin. For the pleasures of this world it seems that many are willing to jeopardize spending eternity in hell rather than with Jesus in heaven.

And even stranger a lot of the sins that are chosen are not that enjoyable, many chose to be hateful, bitter, condescending, they chose to ridicule, manipulate, used and others.
All for a moment of what they think is pleaser but if you really look at those who live that way you will see they are miserable. It is like their spirits know they are going to hell, but things are so out of control they can’t do anything about it.

Further on in Hebrews 12 we are told
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.

See to it that you do not despise or refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, ho so much more will we not escape if we turn away from Him who warns us from heaven.

And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN.”

This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire

Jesus has come to warn us of the consuming fire of Father God, He has told us and shown us the way to eternal life, and we have been warned, and we have been given guide lines to live by, and with an attitude of gratitude we should be obeying Christ Jesus for if we do not we will feel the wrath of Father God comedown upon us.

If you chose to disobey, and live a life of disobedience to the Lord you will pay the consequences, you are either living a life in heaven or you are building a life suitable for hell.
The choice is up to each of us, a few moments of pleaser for an eternity of peace and joy.
The choice is yours to make, no one can make it for you. But if you will turn from the ways of this world and turn to your loving King, ask to be forgiven repent of your sins, grasp hold of Christ and His ways you too can spend eternity with Him in perfect peace and joy.
You will find the narrow path that leads to the small gate and you will be small enough to enter in.

Proverbs 21:30
There is no wisdom and no understanding and no counsel against the LORD.

Proverbs 23:23
Buy truth, and do not sell it, Get wisdom and instruction and understanding.

Proverbs 24:3
By wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established;

Nothing can stand against the Lord the wisdom and the understanding that is of man is foolishness when but beside the wisdom and understanding offered by the Lord, and a foolish man will seek after the wisdom and understanding of the world and turn his back to the Lord. And in the end he will still bow to the Lord in fear.
So why wait till it is too late, know God now realize how He is and fear Him that you may gain wisdom and understanding from Him now.
Spend your time and energy studying the words and ways of the Lord learn His instructions so that you may gain wisdom, instruction and understanding.

If you are a Christian you are the house of God, only by knowing who God is and what He has done and can do can you have a good healthy fear of God, and fearing God is the foundation of your home throw your fear of God you will gain wisdom and understanding,
Fear of God is the foundation Wisdom is the builder and understanding is the framework, the skeleton in which holds the life of Christ in you.

Is your life build on Christ and His wisdom and understanding, a house build on a rock?
Or is your life built on worldly wisdom, concepts and understandings, a house built upon the sand.

Chose this day who you will serve

Proverbs 10:23
Doing wickedness is like sport to a fool, And so is wisdom to a man of understanding.

A fool plays at being wicked you can see it in people who try to manipulate others if you look closely read body language you can see the challenge in them to win, to be on top the podium but the reward they seek is nothing but rubble compared to the crown they would receive if they would only repent and turn to Christ for forgiveness and salvation.

If a Christian truly has understanding than seeking after wisdom would be the challenge of a game and they would seek after Her to gain the reward at the end.

Proverbs 14:6
A scoffer seeks wisdom and finds none, But knowledge is easy to one who has understanding.

How many people in church have perfected the act of scoffing?
First take one week and look at your response and reactions to others and what they do.
Do you show contempt by your actions or your words?
Do you treat or address others with mockery, ridicule, disrespect, condescension, disregard, do you look down on or reject others
Are you one who just has to: jeer, taunt, mock, tease, and ridicule others.
Are you one who just has to show your contempt for others in a disrespectful manner?

If any of this is a part of your life you can seek all the wisdom you would like and you will never find it.
You need to go to the original problem the key root of the situation; and that would be your walk with Christ.

The understanding is that if your walk with Christ is wrong you will follow someone or something ells and for a lot it is a critical attitude.

If you are having a problem with an individual or a group of people first look deep inside and ask the Lord to show you what is wrong in you , then deal with it.

There is nothing wrong in saying something about what the Lord shows you is not right, we just need to be sure we are saying what Jesus would have us say not speaking out of self. And if you fear the Lord and gain wisdom your understanding will draw knowledge to you.

Proverbs 16:16
How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver.

But the world says; buy Gold buy silver, and the Christians in America seem to follow the foolish teachings of this world rather than God.
Striving after education and knowladge rather than wisdom and understanding. Fearing the world rather than fearing the Lord God.

Proverbs 7:4
Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” And call understanding your intimate friend;

Conceder wisdom and understanding with the affection and love as you would a close sibling or a close life friend

Proverbs 8:1 Does not wisdom call, And understanding lift up her voice?

Listen look and search for wisdom and understanding they will revile themselves to you, they will call out your name, they will pursue you but you must turn to them and embrace them. This can be done by reading studding and meditating on and in the words of Father God and Christ Jesus. For one day take the time you would spend on facebook and instead spend it in the word of God, read, study and meditate on Mathew 5, 6, and 7

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

And yet aging we are told:
The beginning of wisdom is: Acquiring wisdom; that is to Obtain Gain Procure in and development of it. The beginning is to know who God is and the power and authority He has in and over your life. If you truly know who God is and who you are this will bring a healthy fear in to your soul which will lead to the development of wisdom and understanding in to your life.

And with all your procuring of wisdom, you will gain understanding.
