B:
Mat 6:22 - 23
"The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light.
"But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
Worry will case your sight to be dim and narrowed to only see what you thank is a problem (the darkness) as your sight is on the so called problem they are off of the Lord who cases you to be filled with light.
Solution:
Stop looking at the situation as a problem, look to the Lord and ask what it is He is wonting you to learn, with faith in Christ look to the light and the problem will no longer shadow your way, but will be exposed for what it truly is, a stumbling block to keep you from the growing light and glory the Holy Spirit is wanting to grow in you so your life will shin His light through you to others.
For if you are charging you’re life with the word of God your light will shin forth in this world, but if your life is being charged by the darkness of this world your light will be dimed to darkness and not seen by anyone.
And as your light grows so grows your faith.
Question #2
Are you filed with light or darkness (faith or worry?)
Tomorrow: Day 4 Question #3
How to stop the worrying Habit
STOP,yea make the dissection to stop and then act upon your dissection
i don't know about you, but i don't have any time to waste on worrying. And worrying is a waste of very precious time. Worrying won't help you solve a problem or bring about a solution, so why waste your time and energy on it?
A: Mathew 6:19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. “But store up for your selves treasures in heaven,
Mathew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Question #1
What do you store up and where do you store it, Where is your treasure?
Honestly answer this question and it can tell you if you worry and why you worry!
For if you are truly storing your treasures in heaven instead of in a home or a bank here on earth; then you have nothing to worry or fret about for in heaven no one can take them from you.
Tomorrow Question #2 light or dard
Day one to being worry free
This will be a 14 day journey To become worry free
To WORRY is to cause anxiety, a cause of uneasiness or anxiety; trouble, to torment oneself with or suffer from disturbing thoughts; to fret, usually of things that MIGHT happen, not reality.
Anxiety seems to consist of two parts; worry and physiological symptoms such as sweating, increased heart beat and raised blood pressure. Worry refers to negative self-talk that often distracts your mind from focusing on the Lord and instead trying to come up with your own solutions to a problem or situation, whatever it maybe.
For example, when you become anxious because you lost a job, you may repeatedly ask your selves how, will i make it, or how will i take care of my family. This kind of thinking interferes with your focusing on the Lord and what He says He will do for you if you trust Him.
As we grow Worry becomes a big part of our lives it is a learned habit, And once you have accepted the habit of worrying it is hard to stop. Worry is one sin that is conveniently overlooked and so easily explained way by many and with some worry is even an excepted part of life.
It seems that if you are not showing worrying about something you are considered to be childish or irresponsible, and in some groups if you don’t confess worry you are considered a liar, or a denier of the truth.
Well if worrying makes you a responsible adult then i don’t won’t to be one!
In my Bible i have found the words of Jesus printed “do not worry” printed seven times,
Mathew 6: “Do Not Worry, saying what will we eat? Or what will we drink, or what will we wear for clothing”?
Matthew 6:34 “So Do Not Worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Matthew 10:19 ”But when they hand you over, Do Not Worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour; for it is not you who speaks, but it is the Holy Spirit.”
Luke 12:11 ”When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, Do Not Worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say”
Luke 12:22 And He said to His disciples, “For this reason I say to you Do Not Worry about your life, as to what you eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on it.”
1Corinthians 7:21 “Were you called while a slave? Do Not Worry about it, but if you are able also to become free do that.”
I truly believe that when Jesus tells us to do or not do something that He expects us to obey, and that He always gives us the means to follow Him and do as He says. The only true problem we have is our own free will to obey or not. Jesus has told us "i will never leave you, i will never forsake you. and if Jesus has your back what can conme against you that He can not handle?
If you will take this journey over the next few days and truly answer the 22 questions by the help of the Holy Spirit you can take the first step to break away from the grips of worry
22 Questions to help you undo the Worrying Habit
Day 1 today
Tomorrow: Day 2
Have been thinking about Romans 10:10 and was impressed with.
In my heart i believe:
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. He was here at creation and came to live on the earth as a human. He was crucified and died on a cross then rose again in three days. He has power over death, hell and the grave, and He is coming back for His believers one day. And that if i believe in Him i can live with Him and Father God forever, in Heaven.
i also believe God is the creator, and is in control of the universe, that He is so much bigger and more powerful then i am and that He has the power to give or take life; knowing and believing this creates a healthy fear of God in me. i will follow Him and do what His word says, which will result in His righteousness growing in me.
With my mouth i confess:
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the cross and came back to life again in three days with victory over death, hell and the grave, and whoever believes in Him and confess their sins to Him and ask Him to forgiven them, they shall be saved.
And, by sharing the love of Jesus Christ with others, brings about salvation in my life, allowing me to live with Him forever in Heaven.
i am having the feeling that we are perhaps where we should be but that we are not doing what we should be! We are not doing bad things but by not doing what we should be we are still sinning, Father God please forgive me! Back to the beginning;
But instead it seems we are still not doing things together, and the things of the world are still holding on and controlling our lives. And it seems the biggest sin is doubt.
Matthew 14:27-31
27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”
28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”
Jesus said get rid of things and be ready to go and we did, and then He said go, and we did, and now we are out on the water, and as Peter did we have looked around at the circumstances and stuff and things what we have, but mostly what we don’t have, and have sunk! LORD SAVE US!
And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of me, and said to me, “O you of little faith, why do you doubt?” Lord help my doubt to subside and my faith in you over take it!
Matthew 6:31 Do not be anxious then, saying,
or, or, or, we have so many what ‘s and what if’s, in which are all out of doubt.
“O you of little faith, why do you doubt?” Lord help my doubt to subside and my faith in you over take it!
Matthew 21:21
And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith, and do not doubt, You shall not only do what was done to the fig tree, But even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ It shall happen.
This is the kind of faith in Father God and Jesus i want to have, not to move trees but to be totally dependant on the Lord for every thing i need, and to never question what or why, or be weighed down with the desires of this world, but to have a deep knowing that what ever I have need of the father will provide, when I have need of it. Lord forgive me for doubting You!
Romans 14:23
But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and whatever is not from faith is sin.
Whatever is not from faith is sin!
Whatever is not from faith is sin!
WHATEVER IS NOT FROM FAITH IS SIN!
i get it, every moment of every day i must have faith in Father God that He will provide all my needs, and that Jesus is not only my provider but my provision! And beyond Him i need nothing, but out of His love for us He will provide all our physical needs.
Needs is a funny word to some it means a lot of new stuff, to some it means any and every thing they see that leads them to into lust, some think it is the comforts of the world. But in the Bible it says we have very few needs,
Beyond all of this every thing is just extra. And can become a distraction, in which can lead to more want and the thought that a want is a need. Wants are not needs!!!! Desires are not needs!!!
Lord thank you for taking care of and providing for all our needs on this journey!
Why do we as Christians willingly live with sin in our lives? As a group we are so concerned about abortion, and pornography, prostitution, gays and lesbians, on and on, but yet we will live with doubt in our own lives which is just as much a sin and any of the others.
i have found that if you take care of the things that we thank are small in our lives, and deal with them, then we are not so tempted by the other things.
(Faith: That leaning of the whole human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness. II Thessalonians 1:11. That’s what I want, desire and hope for Lord. Please help me Holy Spirit to exercise the little, bitty faith that I have so it may grow and mature like a mighty oak tree. Amen. Patty)
(Another Side track)
((((Faith is not saying i wish, what if, why or why not. Faith has a lot to do with being thank full with what you have or for the situation you may be in, Count it all joy.
If you are counting it all joy, what ever you have will be enough, and you won’t thank to say i wish, what if, or ask why or why not, you will be to busy thanking God for what you already have.
i thank that is the biggest problem I have with other people, is that most people seem ungrateful about most of their lives, and when i see that in the church, or people that call themselves christians, first it makes me sad but then it dose make me mad, they just don’t get it.
People will talk about how God has blessed them, then at the slightest bit of discomfort, will complain about something in their lives, maybe Father God is allowing it so they could learn something, but instead of in Joy saying thank You Father God, help me to learn what You would want me to learn from this, they moan, bitch and complain about every little thing.
Why if they belong to Father God, do they have a need to complain Matthew 5 it says He knows our needs and will supply all our needs. So what is the problem?
Problem ……. They are arrogant, proud, selfish, rude, inconsiderate, demanding, and really only care about themselves. And do not trust or have faith in God that He knows best for them. Witch all go’s against what the word of God says we are to be like. )))) That one doesn’t coast any thing either
Tomorrow:
Tomorrow we start a 14 day dourney, 22 questions to help overcome worry.
Righteousness a Righteous man
Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not inter the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:48 “Therefore you are to be perfect; as you’re heavenly Father is perfect.
These two have been on my mind, i'm not sure who or what the scribes and Pharisees were, i would thank that the scribes were the ones that wrote out the scriptures and the Pharisees were the religious leaders of that time, but what they did or how they lived their lives, i'm not sure of. But i do understand being perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect, God has no sin in Him,
And i thank that God, our heavenly Father must be more righteous then the scribes and Pharisees, so i suppose that instead of spending a lot of time trying to find out how the scribes and Pharisees lived i will work on getting the sin out of my life.
Matthew 11:20-24
20 Then He began to reproach the cities, in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent.
21 “Wow to you, Chorazin! Wow to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had occurred in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 “Nevertheless I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment, then for you.
23 And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You shall DEsCEND TO HADES; for if the miracles had occurred in Sodom which occurred in you, it would have remained to this day.
24 “Nevertheless I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, then for you.”
Makes me thank that sense we have the word of god and he has put record of the miracles in His word, so that we may know of them, and then there are the miracles that happen in our lives each day, but yet we do not repent of our sins, how much worse will it be for us????
James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins one to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
1Jhon 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Psalms 32:5 i acknowledged my sis to You, And my iniquity i did not hide; i said, “i will confess my transgressions to the Lord”; And You (the Lord) did forgive the guilt of my sins.
Confessing our sins is required, confessing one to another now days can be dangerous, (for wher can you find a riches man??), the word says the prayers of a righteous man can accomplish much, but where can we find a righteous man, What i have seen over the years is if you share your sin with someone, then you are treated differently, and it is not forgotten by the person, and in some cases is shared with others, We eat our wounded! But it says if we confess our sins to the Lord that He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from unrighteousness. Sense Jesus is righteous and prays to the Father on our behalf, if we confess our sins to him, He will be faithful to forgive us and cleanse us.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Mmmmm
This happened a few years ago will not give names or location but just the basic facts.
Was asked what was going on, that i didn’t look to good, so i shared and explained some of my past and asked for prayer, two weeks later was taken aside by another person, a pastor, that questioned everything i had confessed to the first person, and rather than saying i will be praying for you i was told that i needed to quite sharing with others because they couldn’t prove what i had said. And that if i was having a problem i needed to go to a dr. and prove it!
So they could make sure i was having a problem. I just sat there and wept, to see what the church has come to. What must Jesus think about all of what we have made His body?
And people wonder why i am upset with the church as a whole.
Must go through all part of the journey, and learning to be totally dependent on the Lord Jesus, and learning to forgive and to pray for those whom come against the soul?
I want to be a righteous man of God, to live a life totally dependent on Him.
Lord Jesus i confess to you my sins and ask that you would pray to the Father that i may be forgiven and cleansed of my unrighteousness, and illness. Amen, Amen
Monday: Faith, Obedience to Christ
