January 11th 2026 Have just completed the Old Testament
Took 37 days,
Will start Matthew most likely later today or perhaps tomorrow.
Am looking forward to get started on second time through,
Even though i know it will take longer.
The second time through i will be taking notes
connecting the names through out the bible
and the connection between the Old and the New testaments.
Also taking notes of the things the Holy Spirit has and will shown me as i read.
There has been things this first time through,
that have stuck out things that the church today,
at least the churches in our little town do not talk much about.

If you read through the Old Testament
It is very clear that Father God is a jealous God
i counted 45 times our GOD tells us He is a jealous God.
Here are but a few examples;

1- Exodus 20:5-6
“You shall not worship them or serve them;
for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children,
on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me,
but showing lovingkindness to thousands,
to those who love Me and keep My commandments”

2- Joshua 24:19-20
“Then Joshua said to the people,
“You will not be able to serve the LORD,
for He is a holy God.
He is a jealous God;
He will not forgive your transgression or your sins.
If you forsake the LORD and serve foreign gods,
then He will turn and do you harm and consume you
after He has done good to you.”

3- Nahum 1:2-3
A jealous and avenging God is the LORD;
The LORD is avenging and wrathful.
The LORD takes vengeance on His adversaries,
And He reserves wrath for His enemies.
The LORD is slow to anger and great in power,
And the LORD will by no means leave the guilty unpunished.

Doesn't sound like someone you would want to be enemies with,
But rather someone that you would want to obey.
Reminds me of what i used to tell my kids.
“i will give anyone enough rope to hang themselves.”
Slow to anger by will not let the guilty one to go unpunished.

Already knowing the New Testament,
Then it is obvious that for us to not be punished by GOD,
what we need to do is except Christ Jesus as our Lord
and obey His commandments.
Which seems to be something the children of Israel couldn't figure out.

In first Samuel we are told:
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed than the fat of rams.
For rebellion is as the sin of divination,
And insubordination is as iniquity and idolatry.

(( to heed = is to be submissive ))

To be submissive to the Lord your GOD,
is better then anything this world can offer you.
To not be submissive is to parish
For if we do not submit to the authority of GOD
we are committing idolatry.

But to submit to Christ Jesus,
repent of our sins, turn away from them,
obey His word and the commandments of GOD
we will be blessed, not condemned.

Father has made it so simple:
Trust in His Son,
repent (turn from sin) except Christ as our Lord,
And obey His word.

We are told no one can serve two masters.
So chose whom you will serve, man or GOD.

Still reading through the Bible; (am up to Isaiah 51)
But wanted to take the time to share this:
In my years with the LORD these have become some of the most insightful verse.

Ecclesiastes 12:9-14
for i have found the things written in Ecclesiastes to be so true. For most of the things we count as good or valuable
are nothing but vanity.
We wast so much time with things that in the reality of life
and time are of no value, not worth or value.
only a wast of time and energy.
If what we strive after spending time in,
dues not bring praise and honer to our LORD our GOD,
It is a wast of our life. It is all vanity.
i lived most the life talked about in Ecclesiastes,
and from personnel experiences can tell you it is vanity,
nothing but vanity.

12:9-14
In addition to being a wise man,
the Preacher also taught the people knowledge;
and he pondered, searched out and arranged many proverbs.
The Preacher sought to find delightful words and to write words of truth correctly.
The words of wise men are like goads,
and masters of these collections are like well-driven nails;
they are given by one Shepherd.
But beyond this, my son, be warned:
the writing of many books is endless,
and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body.
The conclusion,
when all has been heard, is:
fear God and keep His commandments,
because this applies to every person.
For God will bring every act to judgment,
everything which is hidden,
whether it is good or evil.

{{{
for the only living GOD,
the creator of the heavens and the earth,
and all on and in the earth and heavens.
knows every word you have spoken and will speak,
He knows every thought you have ever thought and will think.
and ALL, All of it will be judged when the time comes.
but we are told by excepting Christ Jesus as our Lord we may be saved.
}}}

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish,
but have eternal life.

John 2:15
Do not love the world nor the things in the world.
If anyone loves the world,
the love of the Father is not in him.

John 14:15
"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments"

John 8:42
Jesus said to them,.
"if God were your Father, you would love Me,
for i proceeded forth and have come from God,
for i have nott even come on My own intiarive,
but He sent Me."

We made it to the end of 2025 and GOD is still in control,
Never had any doubt He wouldn't be.
If you've been here you know i am reading through the bible,
Started on the Friday the 5th of December; Geneses 1:1
To day December the 31st and have read as far as Psalms 100,
And will still read more today.
Right now i am at page 1073 have read

The biggest or most impressive thing the Holy Spirit has made me truly aware of this time through the Bible is how forgiving GOD is.
Over and over the children of Israel turned their backs on GOD and did evil in His sight.
He would punish them but then again they would go back to serving other gods,
dead gods made out of would, gold and silver.
They would clam to serve and depend on GOD but at the same time serve the god’s of the ungodly.
Father GOD would eventually have enough of it and punish them.

Seems like the christian in the world today,
go to church on Sunday but then on Monday right back to serving the world.
Serving money and objects.
Serving the dead god’s of this world;
work, position, houses, victuals, cell phones, money and so much more.
GOD our LORD gives us opportunity after opportunity to come to Him
and put Him and His teaching first in our lives,
but we constantly drift back to the god’s of this world.
And then blame Him when things go wrong.

What the Holy Spirit has showed me is that the LORD is faithfuly waiting to turn back to Him and forgive us,
but also that  He is just and if we continue to disobey His word He will punish us,
He will destroy us.

Another thing i have found that when i start reading the word of GOD,
it is heard for me to stop at a set page or spot ,
it is like i need to finish the the complete section to finish the thought.

So right now i am at page 1073 and have read an average of 39 pages a day,
have read 582 chapters an average of 21 chapters a day.
At this rate i should be through in another 30 days,
then i will go back and read through aging and take notes.
And allow the Holy Spirit to connecting the dots'
to give me an even better understanding of the teachings of GOD,
To give me a stronger walk before the LORD.
i am excited for what the Holy Spirit has shown me so far
and even more so for what is to come.
The commandments of God are not that difficult if you are willing to obey them,
what it takes is looking to the LORD for being your provider,
and not looking to your job, friends, family or government to provide for you,
to realize all good things come from GOD,
the author and finisher of your faith.

The LORD is my shepherd i shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside still waters,
He restores my soul;
He guides me in the path of righteousness For His namesake.
Even though i walk through the valley of death,
i fear no evil for You are with me;
Your rod and staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies,
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup over flows,
Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And i will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Psalms 23

If you have not started reading the bible through you might give it a try,
And see what the Holy Spirit will show you.

Tomorrow December 25th we celebrate the birth of Christ the LORD, Jesus.
The one birth that is celebrated around the earth.
There is no other birth that is so widely celebrated,
even though there are many who do not look to Christ Jesus as their Lord,
They celebrate this day.
Jesus came to give us the gift of salvation,
the gift of the opportunity to live in love and peace
for eternity with Him and His Father in their kingdom.
And all we have to do is except Him and confess Him as LORD.
So many can quote John 3:16
For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish,
but have eternal life.

Jesus speaking to all of mankind;
John 14:15-21
“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper,
that He may be with you forever;
that is the Spirit of truth,
whom the world cannot receive,
because it does not see Him or know Him,
but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
I will not leave you as orphans;
I will come to you.
After a little while the world will no longer see Me,
but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.
In that day you will know that I am in My Father,
and you in Me, and I in you.
He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me;
and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father,
and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.”

John 14:23-26
Jesus answered and said to him,
“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word;
and My Father will love him,
and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.
He who does not love Me does not keep My words;
and the word which you hear is not Mine,
but the Father’s who sent Me.
These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in My name,
He will teach you all things,
and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”

If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
1. “You shall have no other gods before Me.”
2. “You shall not make for yourself an idol,
or any likeness of what is in heaven above or
on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.
You shall not worship them or serve them;
for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God”
3. “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain,
for the LORD will not leave him unpunished
who takes His name in vain.”
4. “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
but the seventh day is a sabbath of the LORD your God;
in it you shall not do any work,
you or your son or your daughter,
your male or your female servant
or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you.”
5. “Honor your father and your mother,
that your days may be prolonged in the land which the LORD your God gives you.”
6. “You shall not murder.”
7. “You shall not commit adultery.”
8. “You shall not steal.”
9. “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”
10 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house;
you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife
or his male servant or his female servant
or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

But are you aware Jesus expanded these Commandments beyond actions?
But to also include our hearts and minds,
to in cloud not only our actions but also our thoughts.
Our motives.

Keep His greatest commandments.
Matthew 22:37-39
And Jesus said to him,
“ ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD
WITH ALL YOUR HEART,
AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL,
AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.
This is the great and foremost commandment.
The second is like it,
‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”

Do you love the Lord your God?
Do you truly love Jesus?
As He Himself has stated.
“If you love Me,
you will keep My commandments.”

Celebrate Christmas
but even more celebrate the birth of our Lord and King,
celebrate the gift given by Father God,
the gift of Christ the Lord, the gift of Jesus.
And go forth and keep His commandments.

It has been 23 or 24 days,
Thank you for coming back,
i have been working on a few things that have been taking up a lot , well most of my time.

Have you ever dune one of those read through the bible in a year?
i have and have never gotten through one,
will read the little snip-it for the day but then get interested in the whole continence of that chapter what was before and after that little they want you to read,
and in a lot of cases it changes the concept of the concept they are wanting you to think about or except.

So, this year i started writing my own read through the bible in a year book.
Started out by taking a couple days to just read to see how long it would take me to read ten pages at a time,,,
i read slow, never learned to read books until i was a sophomore in high school.
As most who have been here for a wall know my spelling is not that good either.
1st day i was going to read ten pages i ended up reading 10 chapters, i get started and it is heard to stop.
So then i looked to see how many pages are in my Bible from “in the beginning to the last Amen”
Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21,
the Bible i have now is a 1995 NASB Super Giant Print Bible
(yes my eyes are bad)
with no filler pages between Malachi and Matthew,
with a total of 2,252 pages of the word of GOD.

The Bible includes:
66 books,
1,189 chapters,
31,102 verses
for a total of 2,252 pages.

The 2nd day i read 25 chapters
the 3rd day 13 chapters
the 4th day 19 Chapters
5th day 10
6th day 37

Came to the conclusion that 10 Chapters a day would be a great place to start.

That would be 118.9 days so lets say 120 days,
That means i will not only be able to read through the entire Bible in one year,
but that i can do it three times in a single year.

That is less then 19 pages a day, if you wanted to do pages instead of chapters.

What i have found doing it this way is i can get the whole view of what is being said and connect the dots as it were to gather the meaning of each chapter.

TO START this journey:
(1.) Pick your Bible;
like i said i like the 1995 NASB, closest to the King James with out the old language accent.

(2.) make sure you have a pencil and paper.
i use a 1” three ring notebook filled with notebook paper.
(( you should take notes ))

(3.) make sure before you start reading you have taken the time to pray,
ask the Holy Spirit to show you and teach you what He would have you to know and to learn.

Here are a few words from Jesus Him self;
John 14:25-26
“These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in My name,
He will teach you all things,
and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you."

You do not need men to tell you what the Bible is saying
you need to listen to the Holy Spirit,
The Spirit of GOD.

(4.) you need a little time,
time you can set down with out your phone,
your tablet,
your lap top, computer, TV or radio,
no ear buds, or head sets.
You need time to be quiet,
to give your full attenuation to the word of GOD
and to listen for the still small voice of the Holy Spirit.

i guess the real question is how dedicated are you to learn of Christ,
how dedicated are you to hearing from and be taught by the Holy Spirit of GOD.
Any one can set down and read a book.
But to set down and read The BOOK The Bible
and learn the ways of the Lord
to learn who the Lord Jesus truly is
and what He expects of those who are His
takes time,
it takes dedication,
it takes time and it takes learning to be quiet to hear Him speak.

If you will allow Him to,
the Holy Spirit will guide you through the word of GOD
and help you apply your life to please the Lord your God,
Jesus.

i Pray you will take the time to read the bible this way.

i could sell this book for $39.95,
But today you can get it for a fraction of the cost.
Not $29.95, not even $19.95 or $9.95
we are not even charging $0.95

To day you can start reading the Bible three times this coming year
for the grand cost of (( $0.00 ))
It is up to you where you will spend your money
but even more important your time.
Will you spend your time playing games, watching Facebook,
or will you spend it in the word of GOD
listening for the still small voice of the Holy Spirit,
the Spirit of GOD.

It is your choice coos wisely, you are running out of time.
