Matthew 7: 1-5

1 Judge not, So that you will not be judged.
2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged, and you will be measured the same way you measure others.
3 And why do you look at the spec in your brother’s eye, but don’t notice the log in your own?
4 Or how can you say to your brother, Let me remove the spec out of your eye, and behold, a log is in your own eye?
5 Hypocrite, first remove the log out of your own eye, and then will you see clearly to remove the spec out of your brother’s eye.

It is so much easier to judge others sin then our own, but we will be treated in the same manner we treat others, (we are not to judge others on their actions but we are to judge the teachings of a teacher making sure what we are being taught is biblical)..

It is so much easier to see the sin and down fall in others then to deal with the sins and short comings in our own lives

Take care of your walk with the Lord then home first, and then you can help others. That is the way it should be no matter what.

Chain of Command           Chain of Responsibility
God                                    to Father God
Jesus                                 to His Son Jesus
Holy Spirit                          to the Holy Spirit
Husband                            Husband to Wife
Wife                                   Wife to Husband
Children                             Children
Others                                Others

Chain of command; from the top protection flows down step out from under the protection above you and you open yourself up to be attacked.

Chain of Responsibility; give priority in your life out of the proper flow and you jeopardize every one you are responsible for.

i will be gone for a few days, yea back to the wikderness, short trip should be back Friday.

When i get back;        Don't get trampled

Matthew 6: 22-34

22 The light of the body is the eye: if then your eye be single, your whole body will be light.
23 But if your eye be wicked, then all your body will be dark. Wherefore if the light that is in you, be darkness, how great is that darkness?
24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other, or else he will lean to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and riches.
25 Therefore I say to you, be not careful for your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink: nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Is not the life more worth than meat? And the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the heaven: for they sow not, neither reap, nor carry into the barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking care is able to add one cubit to his stature?
28 And why do you care so much about raiment? Learn how the Lilies of the field do grow: they are not wearied, neither spin:
29 Yet I say to you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 So if God so clothe the grass of the field which is today, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, will he not do much more for you, O yoy of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What will we eat? or what will we drink? or with what will we be clothed with?
32 (For after all these things the Gentiles seek after) For your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things will be ministered to you.
34 Care not then for tomorrow, for tomorrow will care for itself: today has enough with his own grief.

i have always found this interesting when it comes to the church and the thoughts on stuff and things, we always seem to look to tomorrow and providing for our fetcher, which cases us to look at how much money we can accumulate so that we can live comfortable now and when we retire.

First off i don’t see anywhere in the bible that Christ said we were to retire. He did say that we are to have our eyes on one thing Him, but we get so worried about taking care of and providing our food clothing and shelter that we have very little time for Him and His plan for our lives.

What we have been told to do is be single minded, our minds are to be set on Him not money and the things of this world, and if we live a life butting Christ first in all we are and do staying steadfast in Him, He will provide all our needs. Our needs not our wants, not a lot of crap that is going to burn but the things we need to live and spread His love to others.

i have heard “I work heard all day that gives me the money to help other” and the only help they give other is to go to the store and purchase the newest gadget out there, as others are in need of God’s love. They have no time for them because after purchasing the latest toy they have to have time to play with it.

Do you spend more time looking at your smart phone or at people?

Christ is very clear you will either live your life serving Him or you will live your life to serve money you can’t do both.

And if you live your life in Him, He will provide your needs food, clothing and shelter.

Matthew 6: 19-21

19 Do not layup treasures for yourselves on the earth, where the moth and rote corrupt, and where thieves brake in and steal.
20 But instead layup treasures for yourselves in heaven, where neither the moth nor rote corrupts, and where thieves neither break in nor steal.
21 For where your treasure is there will your heart be also.

Treasures upon earth;
home, positions, money, pride, …….
Any and every thing you put before God in your life anything that takes time away from doing the will of God, anything that you cannot just walk away from such as home, positions and money.

This world is not my home, i am just passing through, for when i die my spirit is the only thing that will make it to my true home, not one cent of money, nor will one of my positions be going with me. So why hold on so tightly to them now? Give to those in need who you can for your Heavenly Father will supply ALL your needs.

(it helps to know a need from a want; need

  1. A relationship with Jesus
  2. Food
  3. Clothing
  4. Shelter
A relationship with Jesus ------- all you have to do is ask
Food ------- you need nourishment 91 Essential Nutrients not steak and lobster everyday
Shelter ------- shelter, protection from the weather, does not mean a massif square foot home; it means shelter from the weather.

not far from where we are staying there is a community of around 45 homes the smallest on being 2,400 square feet the largest right at 32,000 square feet the community consists of 157 people that’s an average of 3.48 people per home, the largest house has only two occupants, if you drive by any of these locations you will see two to four cars, one to three trucks, a motorhome, three to four snow mobiles, and three to four four-wheelers, and motorcycles, and about every other has a boat. 90 % call them self’s Christians, but in no way would they be willing to walk away from the life they have built for them self’s. And their time is spent taking care of and protecting the items they have spent so many hours working to collect, that the only time they seem to have for Father God in about an hour on Sunday morning, the rest of the week is spent trying to looking successful, and not living a life that looks like Christ.

Clean out the stuff and things in your life and see how much time you gain in your day, wow you might even find time to go help others.

And just think of it if you sold your large home and purchased something that met the need for shelter, how much money you would have (no big payment, less maintenance) each month to give to God, and to help others.

Give to man what is mans and give to God what is God’s.

Just a though.

Matthew 6: 1-18

1 Take heed that you do not give your alms before men to be seen of them, or else you will have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when you give your alms, you will not make a trumpet to be blown before you, as the hypocrites do in the Synagogues and in the streets, to be praised of men. Verily I say to you, they have their reward.
3 But when you do give your alms, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
4 That your alms may be in secret, and your Father that sees in secret, he will reward you openly.
5 And when you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites: for they love to stand and pray in the Synagogues, and in the corners of the streets, because they will be seen by men. Verily I say to you, they have their reward.
6 But when you pray, enter into your chamber: and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret, and your Father which sees in secret, will reward you openly.
7 Also when ye pray, use no vain repetitions as the Heathen: for they think they will be heard for their much babbling.
8 You are not to bet like them: for your Father knows what you have need of, before you ask it of him.
9 You are to pray after this manner,

Our father which art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done even in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

14 For if you do forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 But if ye do not forgive men their trespasses, no more will your father forgive you your trespasses.
16 Moreover, when ye fast, look not sour as the hypocrites: for they disfigure their faces, so that they might seem to men to fast. Verily I say to you that they have their reward.
17 But when you fastest, anoint your head, and wash your face,
18 That you seem not to men to fast, but to your Father which is in secret: and your Father which sees in secret, will reward you openly.

We are not to do things to be seen by man, for if we are doing things to be noticed and regarded as a great person for doing such a great deed, then we lose, but if we do things out of the sight of man our heavenly Father will bless us,.

It is a matter of who you are serving man, self or Father God.

He also gives us a prayer to pray (or an outline to use when we pray)

Our father in heaven, holly is Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done even in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins, as we also forgive those who sin against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen

Acknowledging who God is He is in heaven and He is Holly

Asking for His kingdom to come looking forward to the return of Jesus

Asking that Gods wishes will be accomplished on this earth and in our lives with a oneness of heart on our part to worship and serve Him

Asking that Father God will provide our nourishment for each day, He wants to take care of our every need if we would only ark.

The big one; if we are not willing to forgive those who would miss treat us, sin against us, whether it be lying about us, stealing from us, physically miss treating us, even to the point of death whether it be us or a loved one if we are not willing to forgive we will not be forgiven (not one sin is bigger than another sin, is sin, and through Christ Jesus we can be forgiven, i think it comes down to; after Christ was willing to give up so much to leave heaven and come to earth for a time and go through such pain and suffering so we can be forgiven of our sins, we should be willing to go through some pain from others and through our forgiveness towards them they may see the love of Christ through us.)

Asking to be delivered from evil, the Lord will not temp us and He can and will keep us from the evil one, and by giving our whole being back to God through His son Jesus evil or the evil one has no right of position of our souls they belong to Christ.

Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen

And remember if you are doing things to be seen by man you have lost rewards from your Father in heaven. The rewards from Father God are so much more valuable then the praises of man.

Man can praise you one moment and turn on you the next; your Father in heaven if you give yourself to His ways will bless you forever and will not turn his back to you.

Obedience is better than sacrifice!

Tomorrow:     Where do you keep your treasures?

How to be perfect, as your Father in heaven, heard but not imposable, or we would not have been told to do so.

Matthew 5 39-48

38 You have heard that it has been said: An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.
39 But I say to you: Do not resist an evil person: but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 And if any man will sue you at the law, and take away your coat, let him have your robe also.
41 And whoever will compel you to go a mile, go with him two.
42 Give to him that asks, and from him that would borrow from you, do not turn away.
43 You have heard that it has been said: You are to love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.
44 But I say to you, Love your enemies: bless them that curse you: do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which hurt you, and persecute you,
45 That you may be the children of your Father that is in heaven: for He makes his sun to arise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and unjust.
46 For if you love them, which love you, what reward will you have? Do not the Publicans do the same?
47 And if you be friendly to your brethren only, what great thing have you done? Do not even the Publicans do likewise?
48 Therefore in doing this you shall be perfect, as youy Father whitch is in heaven, is perfect.

If we call our self’s Christians we are to live out the love of Christ in our daily lives, showing not being rude and inconsiderate to the evil ones who take advantage of us and abuse us, we are to do go to those who pan level on us.

If they leave us naked in the street we have the responsibility to pray for them.

Jesus was brutally beaten, made fun of, criticized mocked, nails driven throw His hands and feet and hung on a cross the most painful way to die, along with all the pain you suffocate, and Jesus as He hung on the cross said “Father forgive then for they do not know what they are doing.”

Jesus hung on that cross so that they and you could receive forgiven sins and through His love for those who miss treated Him, those who showed hatred to Hin then and those who show hatred to Him today can be saved.

And if Jesus who was in the beginning at creation could humble Himself to come to earth to be spit upon, beaten, and brutally put to death for you, what are you willing to do for Him?

Taking a little pain whether it is physical or mental so that others might see the love of Christ through you, is that too much to ask.

We are told in Mattew; 12

Rejoice and be glad, for great is your reward in heaven: for they did so persecute the Prophets which were before you.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven.

20 For I say to you, except your righteousness exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

37 But let your communication be Yes, yes: No, no. For whatever is more than these, cometh of evil.

47 And if you only friendly to your brethren, what great thing have you done? Do not even the Public employees do likewise?

48 Therefore in doing this you shall be perfect, as your Father which is in heaven, is perfect.

So go forth and be a light for the world so they can see Jesus, repent of your sins, treat others as you would like to be treated and pray for those who persecute you. Be like Jesus for that is what it means to be called a Christian.

Christian = to be Christ like! Too all.

And no i havent been perfected yet, it is a day by day journey to perfection, but having the desire and the want to along with the determination to be like Christ, not Christ but like Christ and setting each day into motion with that goal in mind sure helps.

Tomorrow;    who's approval are you looking for?
