First John 3:4-10
Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.
You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.
No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.
[[ have know some who have read this and stated “we are human we sin, there is no one who does not sin so no one can ever make it to heaven!” and you may have come to this conclusion yourself. But wait,,,,, you have to take in to consideration the third and fourth words, (practices - sin)
Let's look at the definition of the word practice;
PRAC'TICE,
1. To perform certain acts frequently or customarily,
2. To form a habit of acting in any manner.
It is not a thing of going through life never sinning, it is not having sin as your daily way of life.
Romans 3:21-26
But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; FOR ALL HAVE SINED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD, BEING JUSTIFIED AS A GIFT BY HIS GRACETHROUGH THE REDEMPTION WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS;
whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, SO THAT HE (JESUS) WOULD BE JUST AND THE JUSTIFIER OF THE ONE WHO HAS FAITH IN JESUS.
If you have repented and recived Christ Jesus as your lord and savior your sins have been and are forgiven.
But the one who continues to live in sin practicing it as a way of life, it could be questioned if that one in reality actually ever did repent and followed the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. ]]
everyone who has their hope fixed on the Lord Jesus Christ; purifies himself, just as the Lord Jesus Christ is pure.
Where is your anchor set?
Where is your faith set?
If it is Christ Jesus your sins have been forgiven, but that does not mean it is ok to continue in sin, if you have come to Christ, out of gratitude for what He has done for you, you should strive to not continue in sin, and when you do sin immediately ask Him to forgive you and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you from committing it aging.

First John 3:1-3
See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
[[ how great a love has Father GOD given us?
1. So great a love that we would be called children of God
John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name
2. So great a love that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
3. So great a love that we might be saved through Crist Jesus.
John 3:17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
4. So great a love that we will not be judged in the final judgment
John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
5. So great a love that we can have a relationship with the Spirit of GOD, and be heirs of GOD.
Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
First John 4:7-11
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”
Question:
You say you are a Christian;
But do you have love in you for fellow believers?
Or are you living a lie,
I know and understand it can be heard to love some who claim to be Christians, but the Father has so great a love for us, what less can we show toward our fellow believers?
Another purpose to know the words of Jesus and listen to and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit
God so loved us, so we also ought to love one another!
“And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.”
So put off your sins, repent and turn from your hate,
Matthew 5:21-22
“You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.
But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.
John 13:35
“By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Think about it.
Better yet do it, live a live of love, for Father GOD, the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit and for your fellow believers in Christ Jesus. ]]

First John 2:18-24
Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour.
They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us.
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the truth.
Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.
As for you, let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.
[[ there are those (many) even in the church who today are denying the deity of Christ, even big time fames pastors in major denominations, have departed from the word of GOD.
They are antichrists, those who know the word of GOD but have chosen to walk away and to teach other teachings / other doctrines. Don’t get caught up in their charismatic personality, they will lead you straight to the pit of hell.
Just because someone is considered to be a good speaker and enthusiastic does not mean they are right, don’t be drawn away from the truth by a slick tong.
Be in the word of GOD so when someone is sharing the word of GOD you can know if what they are saying is the truth.
If you have repented of your sins and asked Christ Jesus in to your heart, then you have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you, be still and listen to that still small voice, that says something is wrong, that is the Holy Spirit giving you a warning. ]]

First John 2:15-17
Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
[[ Dang now that is pretty straight forward, not a smidge of wiggle room to not understand what we are being told “Do not love the world nor the things in the world”.
And the next statement is just as direct and leaves no space to miss entrepot.
“If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
So where is your love directed?
Your stuff and things?
The creation?
Sadly for most in the world the love of the world and what is in the world has captured the love of mankind, and rather then placing their love in the Lord Jesus Christ their love is spent on the world and the things in it.
A dangerous position to be in. ]]
First John 2:16-17
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.
[[ so simple to understand. Do you want to live forever with Christ Jesus? Then put your faith and love in the Christ Jesus, or pass away with the world and its ways. ]]
[[ Remember these words:
“Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever."
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other.”
You cannot serve God and the world.
Who are you serving??? ]]

God Is Light
First John 1:5-10
This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.
[[ read it aging and aging, do you understand what the Lord is saying?
1. GOD is light.
2. Just calling your self a Christian does not make you a Christian,
3. if you are still walking in the ways of the world (in sin) then you lie.
4. If you are a Christian and have fellowship with Him, you will follow His teachings, His commandments.
5. By excepting the free gift of salvation from the Lord, repenting of are sins, turning from the ways of this world and following after His righteousness; we truly have fellowship with Him.
6. By doing so He will cleanse us from all of our unrighteousness, this has been accomplished through the cross, (the blood of Christ).
7. If you say you have no sin in your life you are a liar, for all have sinned and fallen short of
(( Romans 3:21-27 But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. ))
First John 2:1My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.
First John 2:3
By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.
one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.
Beloved, I am not writing a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word which you have heard.
On the other hand, I am writing a new commandment to you, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true Light is already shining.
First John 2:9-14
The one who says he is in the Light and yet hates his brother is in the darkness until now.
The one who loves his brother abides in the Light and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
I am writing to you, little children, because your sins have been forgiven you for His name’s sake.
I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning.
I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one.
I have written to you, children, because you know the Father.
I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
[[ not really that hard to understand just slow down and read it aging, We have all fallen short of the glory of GOD, but by excepting the free gift of salvation from the Lord GOD, Father GOD will see us through the redeeming blood of Christ and He will see us as clean, yes bot out of gratitude for what Christ Jesus has done for us we should follow His teaching, His commandments, and live as He Himself lived, ( only doing the will of His Father ), butting away from us the ways of the world and only following after Him, desiring to fulfill His desires for us. ]]
